The lights are going in and out as Apollo Crews makes his way to the ring.
Match Number One: Montel Vontavious Porter (with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley) versus Apollo Crews for the United States Championship
MVP says it is time to drop some truth bombs. He says he is the real US champion because Apollo did not show up. You made excuses while I made history. When this match is over, our beef will be done. I will rep the Hurt Business as the real US Champion and you can hang out with Cedric and Ricochet in catering.
They lock up and MVP with a monkey flip but they continue with the lock up. MVP with a waist lock and take down into a chin lock and body scissors. Crews with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Porter stomps on the foot and connects with a European uppercut. Porter with a forearm but Crews with a back elbow and clothesline. Crews with a suplex for a near fall. Crews with more near falls. Crews with punches and an arm bar. Crews with forearms to the arm to continue to work on it. Porter with a forearm and running boot to the head.
Crews with forearms and Porter is pulled to the floor by Benjamin and Lashley. Crews with a flip dive onto everyone on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Porter with a cravate. We see footage from the commercial break when Lashley tripped Crews on the apron when the referee was not looking and Porter with a boot to knock him off the apron. We are back to live action and Porter with a cravate. Porter with a clothesline for a near fall. Porter gets another near fall. Porter with an elbow to the neck. Porter gets a near fall. Porter with a forearm and drop toe hold. Porter with a camel clutch in the ropes. Porter with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Porter with forearms in the corner. Porter with an Irish whip but he misses a Yakuza kick and Crews with an enzuigiri. Crews with a cross body from the turnbuckles.
Crews runs Porter into the corner and connects with shoulders. Crews with a splash into the corner followed by a spinebuster for a near fall. Crews sets for the toss power bomb but Porter escapes. Porter with a German suplex and Crews gets to his feeet. Crews with the toss power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Apollo Crews (retains championship)
After the match, Lashley tries to give Crews a full nelson but Crews is able to escape.
Crews is asked by Charly Caruso about being the rightful US Champion. Crews says Bobby Lashley's strength is like none other. He had to look at MVP like he was the real champion. Crews talks about hearing his children asking him if he is the real US Champion. Crews says he will hang the old title belt in his children's bedroom. The title that MVP paid for, it looks good on my shoulder. Thank you, I appreciate it.
MVP takes the mic and he wants to know what kind of operation you clowns are running. With the lights, it is an unsafe work environment. Porter talks about being distracted by these working conditions. You didn't show up at Extreme Rules and tonight you show up and steal my United States Championship. I don't care about your wife or your kids. What I care about is my rematch. I want that rematch.
Shelton says something to Porter and he says he wants that rematch at SummerSlam.
Sasha Banks and Bayley are in the back and we will hear from them momentarily.
We see a man standing in front of a door with loud music coming from the room. What is Shane McMahon planning?
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bayley and Sasha Banks are in the back.
They mention they have all the gold. They are asked if the titles will be defended at SummerSlam. Bayley tells Sarah this thing is boring with the question and answer thing. Sasha says it does not justice to what they have accomplished. Bayley says they have something special for tonight.
We get a traier for Sasha and Bayley's Big Adventure leading to Sasha's title victory on last week's Raw.
Asuka is in the back and she is screaming. She says revenge will be very very sweet.
Bayley and Sasha wonder what was going on.
Shayna Baszler shows up. She says Sasha snaked her way to the Raw Women's Championship. Shayna says she has waited in long long enough . . . Shayna punches Sasha and knocks her down.
Kevin Owens walks in the back and he looks for a beverage. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay show up and say they heard a rumor that The KO Show is next. They say they would be great guests. Kevin says that is a great idea because he loves Australia but not tonight because he has guests. He says he plans this things out.
Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring for the Kevin Owens Show as we go to commercial.
We are back and Kevin is in the ring.
He welcomes everyone to the Kevin Owens Show. He says there are a lot of interesting things happening tonight and one of them is the return of Shane McMahon. Kevin says he has plenty of thoughts about that but he does not want to talk about this. Kevin has some issues with his mic.
Kevin brings out Ruby Riott.
Kevin thanks Ruby for coming on the show. He asks about her victory over Peyton Royce and how emotional she got.
Ruby says she had some bad luck since coming back. She didn't have a singles win since February and the Iiconics have been able to grind salt into that wound. She calls the Iiconic toxic and sad. Last week, she got to shut up Peyton Royce and put an end to the Iiconic's bulls***. The only thing that would have been better would have been if Liv was there to celebrate with her.
Kevin Owens brings out Liv Morgan.
Kevin thanks Liv for coming.
Liv says you asked me to listen to what you had to say and Kevin convinced her to be here. She wants to hear it from Ruby.
Kevin says she asked Liv to come here because he saw them when they started in WWE and with Sarah, you were great and had something special. Sarah has moved on to a different part of her life. I have traveled with you and you are great individuals, but you bring the best out of each other. Kevin says he has done a lot of really crappy things to a lot of people. I lost friendships because I thought it was better for my career, but I don't know if it was worth it. You don't have to be friends, but it is worth hearing Ruby out.
Ruby says when she came back, she thought everything would be the same, but she was wrong. Everything was different. You were thriving and coming into your own and I didn't think you needed me. You beat me twice and I thought you didn't need me at all. Coming back without Sarah and without being needed, I was not ready and I took it out on you. It was wrong. Every time I look at this tattoo, it was the day my life changed forever. It is our debut date together. I want another chance for the Riott Squad to be stronger than it has ever been.
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay come out and Peyton says everyone is sick of the two of you babbling on because no one cares. Liv, you should have stayed in the bathtub. Billie says we are so tired of your social media posts about your big win over Peyton. How about some facts over emotion. Peyton says they have dominated the tag team division. Billie says they conquered Wrestlemania. They have been and will always be better than the two of you.
Peyton says if you look up BFF in the dictionary, you will find a photo of us.
Liv says you are right. They are not friends like you. They are not Iiconic. There is one thing they will always agree on. No one starts a riot better than us.
Kevin says unless you have something better to say, you can leave so they can carry on with their business.
Peyton says you have nothing on the Iiconics. Right now.
Kevin asks for Peyton and Billie's mics to go out and Peyton slaps Kevin. He asks if that is necessary and Billie slaps Kevin.
Kevin asks for some help from Liv and Ruby and they oblige.
We go to commercial.
We are back and the large man is still standing by Shane McMahon's room and someone is too afraid to bring drinks.
Match Number Two: Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan versus Billie Kay and Peyton Royce in an IMPROMPTU MATCH
Ruby and Billiie start things off and Billie with a punch and neck breaker for a near fall. Peyton tags in and they connect with forearms to teh back and Peyton gets a near fall. Peyton with a rear chin lock. Ruby with punches but Peyton pulls Ruby by the hair and it stays on her head. Billie tags in and they connect with a series of kicks. Ruby pushies Billie and hits a thrust kick. Liv and Peyton tag in and Liv with clotheslines and a take down by the hair. Peyton with an Irish whip and Liv with an elbow and springboard drop kick for a near fall. Liv with a rollup for the three count.
Winners: Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott
After the match, Billie and Peyton attack Liv and Ruby makes the save.
Ruby and Liv with a double STO to Billie.
