JOE GACY VS. JIMMY LLOYD VS. JORDAN OLIVER, THE REP VS. BEAR COUNTRY & MORE: COMPLETE CZW SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL COVERAGE FROM BALTIMORE, MD

By Mike Johnson on 2020-03-21 22:03:00

Young Dumb & Broke did a promo after the match.  They said they don't care what is shut down.  They are shutting everyone down.  They are tired of fighting Team Espana and called out CZW Tag Team title shot.  They challenged the Rep to face them.

Mr. Grim vs. Eran Ashe (with his Entourage)

Grim is making his CZW debut.  Ashe had an entourage of like 4-5 people.  This was announced as a heavyweight attraction.

They locked up and pushed each other into a corner.  Grim nailed some big shots early.  They shoulderblocked each other and neither really

budged until Ashe finally knocked Grim down.

Grim battled back but was nailed with a back suplex.  Ashe came back with a big slam for a two count.  He covered him for a two count.  Grim went for a big boot but missed.  He got caught up in the ropes and was nailed with another back suplex.  Ashe covered him but Grim got his foot on the ropes.

Grim kicked him off as Ashe charged.  He nailed a big clothesline but was too spent to make the cover.  They both battled to make it to their feet.  They battled back and forth with big forearms and punches.  Ashe began to gain control with shot after shot.  Grim staggered and went down to one knee but pulled himself up.

Ashe nailed hi with a big elbow to the face.  Grim went down.  The referee checked on him.  Grim used the ropes to pull himself up and nailed a step-up enziguri.  He nailed a leaping neckbreaker.  Grim nailed a tope con hilo, wiping out Ashe’s entourage.

He nailed a big knee and covered Ashe for a two count.  Grim went for a clothesline but was caught and drilled by Ashe’s Uranage.  Ashe nailed the AMF and scored the pin.

Your winner, Eran Ashe!

Corrine Mink came out and said she would take Conor Claxton’s challenge, wanting a Falls Count Anywhere, CZW Rules match.  Conor agreed and nailed her.

They battled back and forth and went to the floor.  Mink was sent into the ringpost.  Claxton pulled a chair out from under the ring and nailed her with it.  He put the chair under her chin and drilled her into the floor.

They battled on the floor and used street signs and trash cans as weapons.  Claxton sent Mink into the wall and nailed her with a plastic “wet floor” sign.

They brawled outside the building and into a phone booth.  Phone booths still exist?  Mink battled back and sent Claxton into a pole.  She put him in the booth and shoved a traffic cone over his head.  She slammed him into a flower bed.

Mink poured something in his mouth and began hitting him with crossfaces.  Claxton threw dirt in her face and tried to make his way back inside. She caught up to him but he drilled her.  She gained control and grabbed a tire and rolled it towards him.  It hit him in the groin.

They battled.  She sent him into a telephone pole and began pulling rope down.  She placed it over his neck and pulled the rope, effectively hanging him in the air.  The referee asked him if he gave up.  What the hell?  He kicked Mink, who let the rope go.  He then choked Mink with the rope as the referee asked if she gave up.  Uhhh…Holy bad optics.

Mink broke free and they brawled back towards the building.  They slammed each other into a filing cabinet that was sitting there.  Claxton set her up and ran a running knee into the cabinet, then pinned her.

Your winner, Conor Claxton!

Boom Hardin vs. Kristian Robinson vs. DK Meadows vs. Karen Bam Bam

Matt Striker was way too excited about Robinson using psychedelics.

Everyone battled.  Hardin showed some nice charisma.  Bam Bam was tossed to the floor, where DK hit a tope suicida.  He came down hard.  Robinson, athletically, showed some nice promise.

DK drilled Hardin with a big kick in the corner.  He nailed a big spinebuster for a two count.  Bam Bam and Meadows traded slaps and right hands in the center of the ring.  She caught Meadows in the corner and drove down on him with a sit down attack.  She screamed in the ring.  Robinson came off the ropes and missed her completely.  They blamed the psychedelics.  That was actually a hell of a save.

Robinson nailed a nice handspring elbow but was caught with a back suplex.  Hardin nailed a powerbomb on Meadows but Robinson nailed a big running knee to save the day.  Lots of spots.

Everyone battled in the ring.  Bam Bam killed Meadows with a clothesline, then hit a big spinning backfist on Hardin.  She slammed Robinson down but he used to legs to get to the ropes to prevent the pinfall.

Hardin and Meadows tried to double suplex Robinson but she reversed it and suplexed them at the same time.  Bam Bam chopped Meadows but was caught with a stunner.  Boom and Meadows battled in the center of the ring with forearms and punches.  Meadows drilled him in the mat.    Hardin nailed a moonsault to the floor on Meadows.  Robinson nailed a dive to the outside and tossed Hardin back into the ring.

Bam Bam hit a spinebuster on Hardin but Meadows broke up the pinfall.  Robinson hit a 630 on Hardin from the ropes but Meadows drilled him and scored the pin.

Your winner, DK Meadows!

A lot of heart here with a lot of young talents all trying to do as much as they could.  It was rough at times but a lot of that had to do with them trying to do so many intricate things.  They all really busted their butt to try and put something big on.  I can appreciate that.

Bear Country cut a promo demanding The Rep face them for the CZW Tag Team titles tonight.  This should have aired way earlier on the show, since it literally was a challenge 10 seconds before the actual match.

CZW Tag Team Champions The Rep (Nate Carter & Dave McCall) vs. Bear Country (Bear Bronson & Bear Boulder)

This is a rematch from Cage of Death 2019.

Dave McCall and Bear Bronson started out and they battled back and forth.  Carter and Boulder tagged in and they fought, neither getting the power advantage over the other.

They battled back and forth until Boulder caught Nate and nailed a powerslam for a two count.  Bear Country continued to beat Nate down with clubbing blows against the ropes and nailed a clothesline.

Bear Country tagged in and out, working over Carter.  Nate tried to fight off Bronson but was drilled back to the apron.  Bronson then nailed McCall off the apron.  He tried to hit the ring but the referee held him back, allowing Bear Country to continue beating down Carter unencumbered.  Boulder whipped Carter into a Bronson lariat for a two count.

Carter finally nailed Bronson and fought his way to the hot tag on McCall, who cleaned house.  He nailed a series of shootkicks to the legs of Bronson, then caught him going for a kick.  He slammed Bronson to the mat and scored a two count.

The Rep went for a double-team maneuver but Boulder interfered.  Bear Country powerbombed Carter and scored a two count.  McCall, who had been sent to the floor, was grabbing at his ankle.  Bear Country began setting up for a move but Young Dumb and Broke hit the ringside scene and attacked everyone.

Bear Country wins by DQ.  A DQ.  In CZW.

Eh finish, but I guess it was foreshadowed by the promo earlier.

They worked over everyone, including a stick attacked to a water jug laying everyone out.  They left champions and challengers alike laying.

Jimmy Lloyd cut a promo saying he’s the most unprofessional wrestler and the last outlaw left.  He said he has a title shot tonight and last time, he got screwed by Brandon Kirk and he took out Kirk at Cage of Death.  Tonight he has a fair title shot and he’s taking it home.

CZW Champion Joe Gacy then cut a promo, saying that it’s no secret that he doesn’t care and that he doesn’t want to be here, but the simple fact is he has the title over his shoulder, because he doesn’t want anyone to have it.  He doesn’t want CZW to have it.  He has to defend it out of obligation against Jimmy Lloyd and Jordan Oliver.  He said he was going to put them down out of obligation.

CZW Champion Joe Gacy vs. Jordan Oliver vs. Jimmy Lloyd

Everyone battled.  They noted it’s one fall, so the champion does have to be pinned.  Jordan  Oliver looked good athletically early on. Lloyd nailed a leaping kick to the head, followed by a corkscrew off the ropes.

Gacy hit a pounce on Oliver, bumping him over the top to the floor.  He drilled Lloyd and scored a two count, then ripped at his neck.  He nailed a punch to the back of the neck and chopped him.

Oliver returned to the ring and interjected himself but Gacy nailed everyone with kicks and controlled the ring.  Gacy worked on Lloyd’s shoulder and drilled him with elbows to the face.

Lloyd nailed Gacy, then charged at Oliver.  He kicked Lloyd down and scored a two count. He escaped a back suplex but ate a back heel mule kick.  Gacy drilled Lloyd with a lariat for a two count.  He nailed a series of clotheslines in the corner on Oliver.

Gacy continued to control the match and brought a door into the ring, placing it in the corner.  Gacy stopped Lloyd with a superkick to the mid-section.  They teased putting each other through the door.  Oliver nailed a cutter on Gacy and drilled Lloyd.  Gacy nailed Oliver with a sit-down powerbomb for a near fall but Lloyd charged with a kick to break it up.

All three were down and those in the background clapped to rally them.  They exchanged punches and kicks while on their knees, trying to gain the advantage while also trying to get to their feet.

Everyone battled.  Gacy nailed a handspring cutter and speared Oliver through a table.  He nailed a big lariat on Lloyd for a two count.    Gacy finally scored the pin on Lloyd.

Your winner, CZW Champion!

They said they would be back next week.
