NWA Champion Nick Aldis vs. Flip Gordon

Gordon looked good early with strikes.  Aldis went to the floor.  Gordon followed him and teased suplexing him across the announcers' position before smashing him into the ring apron and tossing him back into the ring,  Gordon scored several two counts and controlled him on the mat.  Gordon ran Aldis out of the ring and went for a dive but the referee stopped him.  The ref ducked down to check on Aldis so Gordon flipped over him to take out Nick on the floor, which looked cool.

Gordon tossed him back in the ring and went right for the armbar on the mat. Gordon fought his way out and caught Gordon on the top, nailing a Fall Away Slam.  From that point on, it was Aldis playing Nick Bockwinkel, breaking down Gordon physically in a methodical fashion. He tied up Gordon with a leg submission but Gordon fought it out and reversed the pressure.  Gordon nailed him and hit a moonsault for a two count.   Gordon almost scored the win with a crucifix which was nice attention to detail since that move was the finish earlier on, so the audience bought it as a near fall.  Aldis escaped and went for the Texas Cloverleaf but Gordon attacked his fingers, with the idea being that Marty Scurll taught him that counter.  He nailed a pair opf Star Spangled Stunners but Aldis kicked up.

They battled to the corner, where Gordon went for a forward roll but Aldis dropped down and scored the pin.

Your winner and still NWA Champion, Nick Aldis!

NWA TV TITLE FINALS: Trevor Murdoch vs. Ricky Starks

They locked up with Starks using a hiptoss but eating a big boot.  The storyline was Starks' pure ability vs. Murdoch's gritty moxy.  Murdoch offered a test of strength.  Murdoch brought him down to the mat but Starks powered his way back up.  Just when it seemed that he would, Murdoch kicked him and took him down. He dumped Starks to the floor and then nailed him outside on the apron.  Murdoch went to toss him back in the ring but Starks faked him out and nailed a kick  They battled on the floor.   Murdoch whipped him into the ring steps.  Starks fired back in the ring but was caught and sent to the floor, crashing HARD face-first.  Starks kept trying to come back but was cut off   Murdoch KILLED him with a lariat to the face and placed Starks on the top    Starks came to life with strikes and slaps before dropping down and nailing a sit-out powerbomb for a CLOSE two count.  The crowd thought that was the finish and chanted "NWA."

Starks nailed the Stroke for a close two count, then nailed a second one and scored the pin.

Your winner and new NWA TV Champion, Ricky Starks!

A spent Starks celebrated and held the championship aloft over his head before heading to the back.

The announcers signed off and that was it from Atlanta!
