They battled atop the casket, where Steve was nailed with a Michinoku Driver atop the casket, denting it. Jim Mitchell interfered, allowing Steve to spew the mist on Vampiro and roll him into the casket for the win.
Your winner, Crazzy Steve!
I'd have to rate that a big upset. This was a decent brawl with Vampiro doing a lot more than he needed to at this stage of his career. Fun stuff.
Vampiro rolled out of the casket and took the ring mic. The crowd chanted his name. He told the fans he missed them. He said he's been wrestling since 1984 and he beat cancer, survived a broken neck and a broken back. He flew from Colombia to get here and didn't come here for "those two f***ing idiots" to do this. He said that he does this for special occasions and those occasions are the people who make this industry survive right now. He told Steve and Mitchell not to go anywhere, because he can find them. He said that people waited for him to come and for them to do that, he ain't happy with it and neither are the fans. He said he doesn't to be booked on any show, "I have a show motherf***er." He said he would come back next year, for free, against Steve and Mitchell in a cage and told the crowd if they wanted to see it, to make some noise. The fans chanted his name.

Marty the Moth was the first up and made his way to the top. He went to grab the AML the title but was grabbed and chokeslammed off the top of the ladder by Luchasaurus. That was a hell of a bump. Everyone began nailing superkicks on Muertes. Psicosis whipped out an Ace Crusher. Psicsosis was superkicked off the apron and took a bump crashing into a guard rail leaning against the barricade.
Konley tried to get to the belt but was hung upside down. Konley was trapped as Marty and Kincaid battled. Kincaid was tossed off. Marty climbed to the top but Konley pulled up and whipped out of a German suplex off the ladder. Konley climbed to the top and retrieved the belt for the win.
Your winner and still AML Champion, Caleb Konley!
An entertaining ladder match. Lots of good bumps and some fun, imaginative spots. Everyone worked hard here.
Battle Royal
If you can name them, they were probably in the ring. Everyone from Bobby Fulton to Glacier to Darren Young (billed under his real name, Fred Rosser) to George South to Simon Gotch and beyond. It was, as they say, a mass of humanity. Hurricane Helms, who won last year, was first eliminated. Fallah Bahh "farted" and lots of guys eliminated themselves to get away. Sandman did his entire grand entrance, complete with theme song. Longtime NC wrestler Stan Lee demanded Sandman leave and got caned for his trouble. Sandman started caning people but George South grabbed him and tossed him over the top to the floor. I never thought I'd see that. South was eliminated but pulled out Stan Lee. Glacier tossed out Blue Meanie. Zane Dawson tossed out Ricky Roberts.
It came down to Darren Young, Fallah Bahh and Zane Dawson. Dawson was tossed, so the last two were Darren Young and Fallah Bahh. They had some really good exchanges. Bahh went for the Yokozuna slam but Young avoided it. They battled to the outside on the apron where Young nailed a neckbreaker on the apron and Bahh almost went over. They battled on the apron and they went off to the floor. It looked like Bahh landed before Young, but they announced Bahh as the winner although it appeared Young was the real winner. They then announced the match would be restarted.
They began fighting in the center of the ring. Young worked him over but was backdropped over ropes to the floor.
Your winner, Fallah Bahh!
It appears they had a miscue the first time and went into the restart to cover. It actually worked out for the better. This was a nice zany mix of legends, young talents, comedy and nice action.
Bahh offered Young a handshake after the match and Young took it, rasing his hand.
Johnny Impact & PJ Black with Taya Valkyrie vs. Ultimo Dragon & Juventud Guerrera with Sonny Onoo.
They announced it would be Lucha rules with the no tags. Impact said whoever was playing the music must be from North Carolina because he hasn't heard any problems that bad since he was in Mexico. He said that with he, Taya and Black, you have three the biggest stars in lucha history but in the ring you have two douche bags with masks and a guy everyone forgot existed. He was really good on the mic playing the SOB heel.
Dragon and Impact went back and forth. Dragon looked really good in outclassing Impact early on. Impact took him down to the mat and worked over his knee. Guerrera and Black faced off and had some really great back and forth sequences. Guerrera looked real crisp hitting a satellite DDT and hit a tope suicida. Dragon tagged in and began tagging Black with some good looking kicks. Ultimo nailed some good kicks. Guerrera tagged in and scored several two counts on Impact.
Impact and Black worked over Guerrera, tagging in and out. Black pulled off his mask to show disrespect. Dragon tried to get into the ring to assist Juvi, but the referee stopped him. Black continued to control Guerrera and kept him on the mat. Guerrera tried to fight out of a submission and even used a backslide but Black fired back. Guerrera finally caught Impact with a Juvi Driver and tagged out to Ultimo.
Dragon hit the ring and cleaned house on Black and Impact. He tricked Black, running him into Impact. Juvi went to the top but accidentally kicked his own partner. Something went awry for a moment but they got back on schedule, doing a rowboat spot. Taya hit the ring and kicked one of the babyfaces. Onoo hit the ring and chased her out of the ring. Impact nailed Starship Pain on Dragon but Onoo interfered. Impact and Black cornered him but Onoo hit a series of karate kicks to defend himself and took them out. Taya tried to intercede but Onoo kicked her too. Impact and Black began whipping out low blows on everyone, setting up Black pinning Guerrera.
Your winners, Johnny Impact and PJ Black!
Another really damn entertaining bout. With the exception of a sequence where the timing got lost for a bit, this was very good. Guerrera looked crisp and liked he could walk back on national TV at any time, Black shined. Impact played a great condescending heel. Dragon looked good. Onoo and Taya were effective in their roles. Enjoyable stuff.
NWA Champion Nick Aldis with Camille vs Jake (Jack Swagger) Hager with Catalina Swagger.
Earl Hebner was the referee.
They went back and forth on the mat with Hager looking good. Aldis went out to the floor to curtail the momentum. Hager went to the floor but Camille stood between them. Hager backed off. Aldis returned to the ring and they circled each other before locking up. Aldis went to the floor again and this time Aldis got in the face of Catalina. Camille got in her face this time. Hager went to the floor but Aldis attacked him from behind. The thinking man's villain!
Aldis worked over Hager and brought him back into the ring and nailed a big suplex. Aldis worked over Hager for a long time as his wife tried to spark a "We the People" chant. Aldis nailed him with a series of right hands. Hager was nailed with a leaping back elbow. Aldis locked in a side chinlock. Hager fought his way back but was drilled with a big running knee to the gut. Aldis worked over Hager and locked in a figure four leglock. Hager fought him off and went for the anklelock. Aldis escaped and rolled him up for a two count. Hager popped up and they nailed each other with a double clothesline ans they were both out.
Catalina and Camille argued and got in the ring. They argued. Swagger jumped on her back for a choke but was tossed off. Camille grabbed her and sent her to the mat. A number of officials tossed Camille and Swagger to the back.
Back in the ring, Hager escaped a Fireman's Carry and dropped Aldis into an anklelock. He trapped him in the center of the ring. Aldis crawled to the ropes and finally made it to them. They battled back and forth with punches. Hager took him down and once again, locked in the ankelock. Aldis turned it around and kicked him off. Aldis trapped him with an inside cradle and scored the pin.
Your winner and still NWA Champion Nick Aldis!
A good back and forth match to close the show. Hager worked a lot harder than I can recall him working in some time and Aldis continues to play a good old school traveling champion.
Overall,a fun, strong showcase of a lot of different styles and talents.
