We are back and Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring with his advocate Paul Heyman.
Paul introduces himself and he says he is the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Paul says his client has authorized him to be a little personal. Paul gets to tell a bedtime story that Brock and he tell to their children. Once upon a time, there was a man who fancied himself a superhero. This superhero represented everything that society should rebel against. Honesty, integrity, family, and tradition.
One day, this superhero took his spear and his jackhammer and decided to go into town. That superhero's name was Goldberg and he was known as the Baddest Dude in the village. All of the villagers would go around saying that Goldberg is a bad bad bad bad bad bad man.
Brock whispers into Paul's ear.
Once Goldberg took the Universal Title, he took a left turn into South Central Suplex City, where family, honor, and tradition is not followed. When our superhero went to Suplex City, he got his ass kicked by the beast.
Paul says the little kids do not have to worry because this fairy tale has a happily ever after. That happily ever after is that you won't be seeing Bill Goldberg around here any more.
Paul says that leaves them in a situation where he is looking for new challenges and new challengers.
Paul goes down the list and suggests Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar. Paul says that Brock still owes one to the architect. What about Matt Hardy versus Brock Lesnar? What about Jeff Hardy versus Brock Lesnar? What about both Hardys versus Brock Lesnar?
Brock will not be one of these champions who will take selfies with the title and savor every moment with the title. Brock is the disrupter of the Status Quo. Paul wants to talk about the TWO in 23 and 2.
History demands that those two go one on one to determine whose yard this really is. If you haven't heard the news . . . they're out here talking about you Roman Reigns. Roman who is spending the night going around the locker room barking orders like he is the big dog.
Now, the question is what to become of this situation? If Roman Reigns is the Big Dog, then Brock Lesnar is Animal Cruelty. Paul says his client, before they came out, authorized him to says it is time to give The Raw after Wrestlemania crowd something they will never forget. That means it is time to deliver something special. It is time to deliver that one on one. Why wait forever? Why not do this right here, right now?
Braun Strowman's music plays and he comes to the ring.
Braun gets in Brock's face and he says that Roman Reigns has Brock's attention. He says when he is done with Roman, maybe he will have Brock's. Braun tells Brock that he got his attention.
Brock and Braun have a staredown and then Brock puts the title belt between them.
Braun decides to leave the ring and he says he will do it on his terms.
Chris Jericho is in the interview area. They mention his rematch at Payback, but Chris is asked about his tag match tonight. Chris talks about the Raw after Wrestlemania crowd and he gets on the crowd's side. He says this is his crowd. They are the fans of Jericho.
Chris says this is time for him to start getting his revenge on that stupid idiot Kevin Owens for winning the United States Title. He will start with the tip of the finger because it was the tip of the finger that saved him after that Codebreaker. That is what kept Chris from winning. Chris asks if you know what happens, tip of Kevin Owens' finger when you help beat Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania? You made the list.
