OK, well we still have four matches that I can think of left, so of course it's time for a song with Pitbull and some dude. Now it's Pit Bull and Flo Rida.
This show will probably go six hours at this point.
Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt for the WWE Title is up next.
Bray came out first. He got a nice pop when the music stopped. Then Orton came out second. As I am sure you know, I hate when the champ comes out first. They put a snake on the ramp for the Viper. It was cool.
They got pretty equal pops. Randy went right after Bray and tried for an RKO early but Bray bailed and then did a big head butt to put Randy down. They did a cool overhead shot where Bray turned the ring to a visual of Randy laying in maggots. Randy bailed and the crowd popped. It was cool.
Bray was in control for the next few minutes. He did it again, this time I think it was centipedes. It was cool.
Then when Randy was on the floor, Bray charged him and Orton hit the RKO out of nowhere. But by the time he dragged the champion back in the ring, Bray kicked out. Orton thought he was in control but Bray hit Sister Abigail and got a two count. Bray then did his handstand gimmick and the ring turned to roaches. He should have gone for the cover because Randy hit an RKO out of nowhere to win the Title. Wonderful. So Wyatt's wins over Cena and AJ and then Cena again, mean nothing.
That was an RKO and FINISH out of nowhere. The crowd didn't really react much. The match was more spectacle than an actual match. The stuff with the bugs was really cool but if Bray wasn't going to win, there was no point to it. And all of the build up for Bray goes to crap in a second. He cared more about bugs than his Title. So, overall I hated it.
Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is next so that should be quick at least. That means the Smackdown women are next and Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns is closing the show, probably before this day ends in the east. And if Roman wins, how happy will those fans that have been at the stadium since yesterday be?
Brock is out first. As soon he got in the ring and his music stopped, they chanted for Goldberg. He did the old school entrance so he had to walk through back and then do the 5K down the ramp to the ring. He could be 60 by the time he gets there.
Paul Heyman grabbed the mic and the fans sang along with him.
Brock started with three quick Germans but Goldberg then hit a spear. Brock bailed so Golberg chased and speared him through the barricade. Cool open. Lots of Goldberg chants. We are already at 1:40. Goldberg went for the Jackhammer. Brock got out and went for an F5. Golberg got out and hit another spear. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer for a two. Fans are for Brock too.
Goldberg set up for the Spear but Brock made an awesome leapfrog and Goldberg hit the post. German time. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Fans were chanting for 10. They got it. 7. F5. New champion! It went a little less than five minutes.
This was better than anyone could have reasonably expected and in fact I enjoyed it a lot. It was short, yes, but man it was a lot of fun. All action and drama.
