Kevin Owens was out first. He got a nice pop. After the video played bringing us up to speed, Jericho came out next, to a big pop. He’s over brother.
Owens was in the ring looking serious as Jericho came to the ring. Jericho took in the adulation of the crowd when he got inside.
Jericho was definitely over here. He worked KO over early and got a Stupid Idiot chant. Then, he ran into a kick to the jaw from KO and the tide turned. He did a nice cannonball into Jericho as he prone into the post outside of the ring. The beating continued.
KO tried a pop up on the floor and Jericho broke it and then took control. The crowd is really quiet, which is a shame. These two deserve better but after watching Shane kill AJ in the opener, I get why they are quiet. KO has a cut on his head. Jericho hit a Frankensteiner from the top. Jericho went for a Lionsault but missed. He landed on his feet and KO hit him with a kick to the face. Jericho went for the Lionsault and met KO's knees. KO did a senton off of the top and this time Jericho got up his knees. KO came back a shoulder driver. Jericho blocked a Pop Up and got a Lionsault for a two.
KO caught Jericho coming in and put him in the Walls Of Jericho. Jericho tried to fight out and came close to tapping but he rolled over instead. Then Jericho locked in the Walls on Owens. They traded near falls and Jericho kicked out of the Pop Up.
KO is mad. Jericho is down. He put the mouth on Jericho and then went for the Pop again but Jericho hit the Codebreaker. KO got a finger on the rope to break it. KO rolled out and Jericho chased. KO got him and powerbombed him into the side of the ring. He rolled him back in and got the pin to become the new US Champion.
They had a really good match. Hopefully it's the start of more.
Bayley defending her Woman's Title against Charlotte, Bayley and Nia Jax is next.
Bayley came out first. No champion's respect for her, unfortunately. Out next is Nia Jax. Then Sasha Banks, then the real champ, Charlotte. And if you doubt that for one second, Charlotte got a freakin' fireworks show on her entrance. That just ain't right to the champ.
The early story was that Nia took out all of the women as they teamed up to go after them. She destroyed them all early on. My feed died and when I came back a minute later she was still in control. But then all three women worked together to powerbomb her from the top and they pinned her as a team. Charlotte feigned burying the hatchet and when Bayley and Sasha wouldn't, she bailed and then said go ahead and wrestle each other. Sasha hit a big somersault splash onto Bayley on the floor and Charlotte followed with an awesome corkscrew moonsault to both on the floor.
Bayley stayed on the floor to sell while Charlotte and Sasha went at it, trading near falls. Lots of them. Until Charlotte launched Sasha into the partially exposed turnbuckle, 1-2-3. We are down to Charlotte vs. Bayley. Charlotte went right to work on Bayley's knee.
Charlotte went up for the moonsault from the top but missed. Bayley got a two. Bayley went up but got caught coming down. Charlotte locked on the Figure 4. Bayley got to the rope before she could get the 8. Charlotte then went to work on beat up Bayley, putting her in the Tree Of Woe and working on the knee. But Bayley kept fighting back. She managed to do a back body drop while hung up in the ropes. Charlotte charged and hit the post. Bayley got free and did the Macho Man elbow, 1-2-3 to retain her Title. I have to admit, I was surprised a bit by the finish, but in a good way. They let Bayley do her fight from behind deal and maybe they are finally getting her character. Good, solid match. I would have liked it to be longer but it is what it is.
After showing highlights from the Hall Of Fame, they introduced the class. Everyone was on the stage except Kurt Angle, who came out last to "You Suck" chants. By the end, he was conducting as they chanted it. He always did get that it was fine to be the butt of the joke. You gotta love that.
Time for the Tag Team Titles to be defended in a ladder match. Enzo and Cass are out first. They did their usual spiel. Sheamus and Cesaro were out next. Both guys wore kilts. Sheamus has all the stitches in his head. He is a tough dude working tonight. The champs came out last. Well, no they didn't.
The New Day came out and said that a fourth team has been added to the match. We wonder who it could be. Who? Who? Yeah, it ain't the New Day. It's THE HARDY BOYS.
The Hardys came in and cleaned house at first. The fans loved it. They chanting DELETE! After the initial onslaught The Club came in and took them out but Cesaro and Sheamus then cme in. OK it is turning into bedlam, including Jeff jumping into a Cass big boot. Ouch.
They did a great spot were Sheamus pounded Gallows chest a Cesaro swung Anderson probably 50 times. It was great.
After everyone else was wiped out, Sheamus set up a ladder but Gallows came in to meet him as he got to the top. Enzo came in and pushed them off, into the ropes.
