Stokely Hathaway comes out and he talks about his debut yesterday. He says he did not call out Triple H. He just said he talked about what was best for business. If he wants someone special in the Global Cruiserweight Series, he needs TJP. Stokely tells Hunter it would behove you to give him a call.
Match Number Eight: The Six Man Tag Team Tradition Continues - Days Of Future Past: Kota Ibushi, Johnny Gargano and TJ Perkins (with Stokely Hathaway) versus Will Ospreay, Tommy End & Marty Scurll
Scurll and Gargano start things off. They lock up and Scurll with a wrist lock. Gargano with a wrist lock. Scurll with a reversal into a side head lock take down. Gargano with a head scissors and Scurll tries to escape but Gargano drives Scurll into the mat. Scurll with a wrist lock. Gargano with a reversal into an arm bar. Scurll with a snap mare but Gargano holds on to the wrist. Gargano holds on to the wrist lock. Scurll with a punch. Scurll with a shoulder tackle. Scurll with a choke but Gargano escapes. Gargano misses a double stomp and Scurll with a thumb to the eyes.
Gargano with a rollup into a round kick. Perkins tags in and he snap mares Scurll and hits a drop kick for a near fall. End tags in and he connects with a forearm. Perkins with a reversal and a head scissors take down. Perkins gets a near fall. Perkins with a back heel kick but End with a kick to the midseciton. Will tags in and Perkins gets out of the corner and Perkins wants to tag in Ibushi and Ibushi accepts the tag. The crowd rises before they lock up and they lock up and Ibushi with a waist lock and Will with a take down. Ibushi with a front face lock and Will with a reversal. Ibushi with a wrist lock and Will with a reversal after a series of kip ups. Will with a hammer lock into a side head lock. Will with a shoulder tackle and Will flips over Ibushi. Ibushi with a drop kick.
Ibushi with a kick to the back of the head and Perkins tags in and Gargano tags in adn they hit a double spinebuster and Perkins with a capana and Gargano with a drop kick to the head. Gargano with chops. Gargano with a wrist lock but Will holds on to the ropes. Gargano with a kick. End makes the blind tag. Will with a head scissors and drop toe hold followed by a boot from End. End slams Gargano and tags in Will for a slingshot corkscrew splash for a near fall. Scurll tags in and he takes Gargano down. Scurll with a surfboard on Gargano and he drives Gargano's knees into the mat. Scurll kicks Gargano and sends him into the corner and End tags in.
Gargano with a forearm but End with a kick and he gets a near fall. End with an Irish whip and back elbow. Will tags in and he kicks Gargano. Scurll tags in and hits a running European uppercut and End with a kick before Scurll gets a near fall. Marty with a kick to the leg and Will tags in and hits snap elbow drops. Will sends Gargano into the turnbuckles and connects with a hard Irish whip. Will gets a near fall. Will with a front face lock and he tags in End and kicks Gargano in the back. End with forearms. Gargano with a chop. End with akick. Gargano floats over and has a super kick blocked. End with a knee and Gargano avoids a suplex with a knee. Will and Scurll knock Perkins and Ibushi down. Gargano with a tornado DDT and he takes down all three men.
Ibushi tags in and he kicks everyone. Will with a kick and forearm. Ibushi with a flying leg lariat. End misses a kick and Perkins with a tag and he hits a springboard forearm. Perkins with a series of kicks. End with akick but Gargano with a kick. Scurll with a European uppercut. All six men are in the ring for forearms. The Euros go for a triple Super kick tease and they kick Ibushi, Gargano, and Perkins low. Perkins gets a near fall but it is broken up by Scurll. Will with a springboard double Pele Kick to Perkins and Gargano. Perkins goes to he floor and Scurll with a super kick to Perkins.
Will catches Gargano on a slingshot spear and Gargano gets a double stomp from End. Perkins goes up top and hits a double missile drop kick. Will runs Perkins into the corner. Perkins puts Will on the turnbuckels. Scurll with a super kick to Perkins on teh turnbuckles. Will with a springboard Ace Crusher while End and Scurll hold up Perkins and they only get a near fall. Scurll wants Ibushi but he runs into a boot. Ibushi with a double pele kick to Will and End. Scurll goes for the Chicken wing on Ibushi but Ibushi blocks it. Gargano with a double spear to End and Will. Ibushi with a moonsault onto Will and Perkins with a 450 splash but Scurll and End break it up.
Gargano goes for a suplex but Will with a stunner. Ibushi taks care of Scurll. Will with a clothesline that flips Ibushi and everyone is down in the ring. Ibushi picks up Scurll but Scurll grabs the fingers. Scurll sends Ibushi to the floor. Perkins with a springboard kick to Scurll. Will takes care of Perkins. Gargano with a senton onto everyone on the floor. End with a moonsault off the ring post onto everyone on the floor.
Scrull sends Ibushi into the crowd. Scurll and Ibushi fight into the crowd and Gargano joins in. Perkins is sent into the crowd. Will is sent over the guardrails onto everyone in the crowd. End joins in so all six men are in the crowd. They fight against the wall and Ibushi climbs on the raftera dn so is Will. They exchange punches and both hit moonsaults off the rafter onto their opponents. Ibushi is the first one back to the ring and Will joins him. They go face to face. Will and Ibushi exchagne forearms and kicks. Will with a kick but Ibushi with a kick to the head. Ibushi with a moonsault for a near fall. Ibushi with a German suplex to Will for a near fall. Gargano with Gargano Escape on End. Scurll goes to the floor. Will with a rollup for a near fall. Ibushi with a power bomb on Will for the three count.
Winners: Johnny Gargano, Kota Ibushi, and TJ Perkins
After the match, Scurll offers his hand and they shake hands. End does the same and so does Will. Ibushi and Will shake hands and hug.
All six men celebrate in the ring.
Johnny Gargano takes the mic and he has something to say. Johnny says that Kris Travis was watching that match. He says he hasn't done this in a while but this is Wrestlemania weekend, so he wants to know if you enjoyed the show. Johnny says today has been a crazy day in a crazy weekend. Johnny says he was here at noon for Evolve, and unfortunately he lost the tag titles. What Drew said was wrong. WWN's relationship with WWE and NXT is not wrong. Johnny says he went to the NXT tapings. Then due to the relationship with WWE and WWN, he was able to wrestle with five of the best wrestlers in the world.
Johnny says a lot of people ask him what is next. He says he does not know. The future is unpredictable. 2016 is a crazy time in this business. What does the future hold? He does not know but he is looking forward to it.
Johnny says he was there, TJP was there, and Kota Ibushi was there for Evolve 1. Johnny says to end this weekend like that, it was pretty cool.
Lenny says that Drew Galloway will face Johnny Gargano at Evolve 61 on May 7th. Drew Galloway will face Ethan Page at Evolve 60 in Maryland on May 6th.
