John Cena came out first, to the reaction you would expect. Seth Rollins came out next, in an all white outfit. He took the mic and said, “Punk was right, this is bull****. The champ should headline the show.” OK, he didn’t say that, but they he should have.
Cena was introduced first. More boos than cheers. Not even close. Rollins was next, more cheers than boos. Not even close. Cena looks healthy. The announcers are selling that the nose may come into play. The crowd is behind him.
They went at it from the start. Cena is showing no signs of his nose injury. The crowd is ragging on Cena and Seth is almost working face to make the crowd happy. They are vocally behind him. So hell, go with it. … Cena came back, they booed. Seth countered, they cheered. Welcome to NY. … Fans were more into Seth and really both were kind of working face. … Seth had Cena stuck in the ropes and did a double stomp from the top and got a two. Cena came back and got a two. OK sorry, I am just watching now. This is really, really good.

Man, this was so good, back and forth, the Cena got the STF but Rollins got out. They tried to get finishers until Cena locked on the Figure Four in the middle of the ring. Nowhere for Rollins to go. Rollins worked it and rolled him over, classic Flair stuff. Cena got to the tope for the break. … Rollins slapped his leg to get the blood flowing. Cena was selling like he was hurt too. He went to the top and hit a Superplex and then another suplex. Two count only. Seth went to the top and missed the moonsault. Cena got Rollins up but the ref got knocked out so the AA didn’t matter. They sold that Rollins knew the ref was down and didn’t waste energy kicking out, rather than saying Cena “had it won”. Cena went to call for the ref when Rollins kicked Cena in the nose. Jon Stewart ran down with a chair and teased hitting Rollins, but instead nailed Cena. Rollins then hit the Pedigree on the chair and the ref came to, 1-2-3. Jon helped Seth retain his belt and win the US belt. It was a great end to a great match. I loved every minute of it.
Other than the finish, Seth worked the match as a babyface and he showed the world that if the turn him, he can work that role very well.
Divas Elimination match time. I hope they continue what happened at NXT Takeover last night.
There was a ton of action from the get go in this one. First elimination saw Brie pin Tamina to get rid of Team Bad. Bummer, Sasha is out. It’s PCB vs. The Bellas. Nikki and Brie worked over Brie for a while, and after taking an Alabama on the floor was largely just abused by Team Bella. … Finally, Charlotte got the hot tag and went to work on Alicia. She locked on the Figure Four but Nikkis stopped her from getting to Eight. Paige took Nikki out as Alicia and Charlotte ran into double boots from each other. Brie and Becky wanted hot tags. They got them. Brie went for the kick from the top but missed. Becky hit the Pumphandle Slam and got the pin. … It wasn’t last night’s match but they worked hard and you could definitely see that things have been dialed up in the Divas division. PCB celebrated after the match as the announcers, finally, said that the other Divas will be coming after Nikki’s title.
Before Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens, they did a Mountain Dew promo. Cole said he was sipping it because this was a four hour show. The crowd chanted “that stuff’s nasty”. OK, they didn’t, but they should have.
