Rusev sent up tables. He slammed Cena into the podium. He then did you can't see me on Cena and went to throw him threw the tables, but Cena came back and tossed him. Cena picked up old Glory but Rusev nailed him and Cena dropped it again.
Cena got up and made it to the podium but Rusev hit him with the stand and down went Old Glory again. Rusev locked on The Accolade. He then, like a dumbass, went for his flag while not taking Cena's with him and away from the podium. He went back and got his but Cena was there and stopped him.
Rusev locked on the Accolade but of course Cena powered up, walked over to his podium and backdropped Rusev through the tables Rusev had set up. He put his flag in and won to defend the right of all American to treat the flag like a mop you can drop on floors of beer soaked arenas around the country.
They worked hard and some people definitely enjoyed the match, but I wasn't one of them. There was no reason to put part time John over returning full time Rusev. And all kidding aside, treating the flags of both country as rags that can be dropped on the floor rubbed me the wrong way. It really did. I didn't need to see that or Cena beat someone else that he didn't need to beat.
We found out that Ascension said that they were the ones that trashed Breezango's office. But they weren't. The lights went out and when they came back on someone laid out Breeze. Then someone laid out Dango. It was probably Rusev since after that last match he kist wants to go home and do the nasty with Lana all day. Someone took Dango's body and dragged it away.
Mike "I am a 2017 man so I took my wife's last name" Kanellis vs. Sami Zayn. Mike and Maria did their thing early, selling the power of love and all. He was in control for a while until Sami came back. Sami hit the somersault senton to the floor. They are calling Mike Maria's husband. It's funny. Sami got a two on splash. Sami hit the big DDT but before he could to the Exploder Maria came in. This time it didn't work and Sami hit the Exploder and Helluva kick and got the three. Well, OK. I love Sami but I am not sure what the point of having Maria's husband lose so quickly. I just don't get it.
Punjabi Prison time. Jinder Mahal came out first. Why? Beats me. The champ should always come out last. Oh well. Randy Orton was next. This thing is hard to see into. At least Orton was introduced first. People are chanting "Maharaja". That's cool.
Mahal called for a door to be opened early but neither got out so it's closed and locked. Three doors left. Jinder went to work on Randy's hurt arm. Jinder called for the second door to be opened by Randy stopped him with a Fall Away slam. On a side note, the fans live have to be watching on the screen. It's hard to see into this thing. Neither one got out of door two.
First stupid point of the match. Jinder went to climb out. Randy went up and stopped him. Why the hell wouldn't he instead let him get halfway up and then call for the door to me opened? He could go right out and start climbing?
Second dumb thing. Randy called for door three when he was across the ring. Why not get to the damn thing first?
Well, that was a mistake. Jinder stopped him. One door left. This is dull so far.
Orton hit a DDT off of the ropes and called for the door. There were som boos. Instead of going out he went for the RKO but Jinder hit him in the face with a knee. But Randy hit an RKO. With 13 seconds left the Singhs came in and pulled Jinder out. They kept Randy in. He got locked in. He started to climb out while Jinder had to come to on the floor. Randy did a cool spot where he climbed from the top of the first on to the second one. He should have been out but he had to wait for Jinder. Orton knocked Jinder off but the Singhs came and attacked Orton and dropped him to the ground. They threw Randy into Mahal and Randy ate a knee. Jinder climbed. The Singhs tried to hold Randy back but he laid them both out. He caught Jinder and dragged him back in.
The Singhs kept working on Randy until Jinder could get hold of him again. Jinder hit Orton with a kendo stick but Randy powered out and got a stick of his own. He pounded Orton with it. And then got the Singhs. This match concept is so bad. I feel sorry for these two. They are working hard but it's just a lame concept.
OK so Randy is climbing out with one arm when Samir got out of the cage through a hole because he is little and all. Samir just held Orton so he couldn't get out but Randy hit him with a right hand and he bumbped off of the top of the cage through a ringside announce table. Sick spot. Damn. The announcers hardly sold it. WTF?
Randy did a DDT off of the cage on the floor on Randy. They keep selling Randy is a one armed man but he is killing everyone. Chairshots to Sanil and Jinder. It's John Cena vs. The Wyatts bad.
Randy goes to leave by Sanil tries to stop him. Randy kicked him off. Oh Jesus H Criminy. The Great Friggin Khali is waddling out to the ring. I am not making this up.
As Randy went to come over the structure Khali shook it and Randy fell down. Khali grabbed him by the throat and Jinder climbed u and out while Khali held Orton by the throat and won the match. I swear to God, everything I just wrote happened. Jinder got a chant when he hit the ground. Maybe they like him. Maybe they are glad it's finally over. Who the hell knows at this point.
So to recap, it took two Singhs, one Jinder and a supersized Great Khali to barely beat one armed Randy Orton. Wow.
As for the match, they worked very hard and took some abuse but it just didn't click for me. It was hard to watch at times and the stipulation just makes it nonsensical. I actually laughed when the Great Khali came out. What else can you do?
