After they cleaned house, Becky faced off with Charlotte. Natty came in and went to work, but she got a Becksploder for her trouble. Then Tamina came in after Lana ate the Becksploder and took out Becky and Natty. Charlotte ran in and went after Natty but got caught in the sharshooter. Lana came in and tried to steal the pin. Becky cam in and ate the Disarmer but Tamina made the save. Lana went for the pin but got caught in the Disarmer. Tamina broke it up but then got caught herself.
Becky Lynch made Tamina submit to the Disarmer.
Becky Lynch immediately made Lana submit to the Disarmer.
Natty came in and rolled up Becky using the tights.
Charlotte came in and got a two on Natty. They got to the mat and slugged it out. Natty got the cross arm breaker but Charlotte powered up and got a two on a powerbomb. She is already crying. I love it. Charlotte got up and went for the moonsault, but got the knees. Ouch. Natty slammed her head into the ropes and then pinned Charlotte. She will face Naomi at SummerSlam. Naomi clapped for her and then went into the ring to shake hands. Natty decided no.
I had a feeling Charlotte would have to wait. Natty deserves the big Title match. I am happy for her. All of the ladies worked hard. There was a lot of Tamina and Lana and then the last few minutes were very good. Lana looked better than I expected.
It's time for AJ Styles to defend the US Title vs. Kevin Owens. This should be great. Good pop for KO. Awesome pop for AJ. He's over.
KO went after AJ early but it was very even so KO too a powder to the floor. Crowd is behind AJ. Styles was countering everything early on. They went to the floor where AJ threw KO into the barricade but then missed a splash KO went to work and got a two on a senton. KO then took control while the crowd chanted for AJ.
AJ tried to power out but couldn't. But then KO went for a senton but AJ got the knees up. KO came back with a DDT for two. He was back in control until AJ came back with some thunder and then a forearm. AJ got a two with a Face Plant. AJ thought Clash but KO got out and got a two. AJ came back and got one as well it is heating up. AJ hit a Springboard 450 but landed on knees KO got a two. Cannonball into the corner for another two.
KO put AJ up top but AJ flipped out and got KO in a Torture Rack into a slam for a two count. He went to the top but KO was playing possum and jumped up and crotched him. KO went up top and AJ got away again. He went for the forearm but KO went to the floor and took out AJ's feet. KO went to work on AJ's left shoulder but AJ hit the Pete kick. He went for the Clash but KO tossed him into the ref. AJ ran into a Superkick but AJ got the Calf Crusher but KO reversed it. The ref is out of it. AJ locked on the across face the ref isn't there KO rolled back and pinned AJ as the ref came to. I was waiting for the replay as it looked like both could have been down but they never showed it again. It feels like that will be addressed on Tuesday.
The match was solid but I think my expectations were high. And I didn't love the finish. It came out of nowhere and the ref didn't do a great job of being out of it.
It is time for John Cena to defend America, Jack. That inky dinky stinky Bulgarian must be put in his place. Rusev is out first. Go Bulgaria! Then John. The winner has to put their flag in a pedestal to win. Early on both men tried to get their flags and were stopped. They should be working the other guy over, but that would make sense. Then finally Rusev started to work over Cena. Jack kept fighting back so Rusev couldn't besmirch America! Cena is selling a lot. If he loses too, wow.
And right on cue, there it is, Cena with shoulders. Slam. Fiv knuckles. But Rusev got out of the AA and hit a spinebuster, and tossed Jack to the floor. Rusev went up for the flag but Jack stopped him. Cena threw the worst punch in a while and down went Rusev. Cena went for the legdrop but kind of got powerbombed. Rusev went and got his flag. It got a decent pop. He took forever to get down. Jack got up and dropkicked him, dropping the flag. Would they do that to the American Flag?
Cena got the AA. He went up but Rusev caught him. Cena then locked on the STF Jack! Rusev tapped but that doesn't matter Jack! Cena should keep it on for five minutes but he didn't, he let go. Dumbass. Maybe not, he went up and got the flag but Rusev got him with a dropkick and the American flag is down in the ring. You aren't supposed to do that with the flag. Good thing Vince has an in at the White House. Seriously the flag is supposed to NEVER hit the ground. I hate that.
Rusev got his flag but Cena killed him on the floor. Cena go his flag and went to the finish line but Rusev stopped him and beat him up. The flag went down again. I hate this. Rusev hit Cena with the ring steps. He grabbed the flag but as he walked by Jack he grabbed the leg. Jack got up and threw him into the screen wall. Cena went to splash him off of the podium but Rusev caught him and did a fall away slam. Both country's flags are being treated like toilet paper. This is screwed up. Totally disrespectful to both countries.
