Countdown to TNA Final Resolution 2024
Tom Hannifan opens with a welcome to the sold out Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.
JDC vs. Leon Slater
JDC grabs a headlock quickly, but is sent to the ropes. He tackles Leon Slater down. Slater gets an arm drag, but JDC stands up and slaps him. Slater hits the ropes and hits a headscissors. JDC rolls out of the ring. Slater sets up for a dive to the outside over the ring post. JDC moves and Slater catches himself. He instead flips over the ropes onto JDC and then rolls him back into the ring.
Slater climbs to the top rope, but JDC grabs his arm and rips him down to the mat. JDC charges Slater in the corner and hits three running elbows. He follows that with a Side Russian Leg Sweep and gets a two count on Slater. JDC then slaps on a headlock on the mat.
Slater stands and strikes out of it. Slater hits a boot to the face and climbs to the second rope. He leaps off, but is caught with a kick to the midsection by JDC. JDC hits a Falcon Arrow for a two count. JDC slaps on a front face lock.
Slater stands and strikes out of it and hits the ropes. Slater gets a two count on a Sunset Flip and then hits a leg lariat. Both men are slow to get up. They both stand and exchange strikes. JDC sends Slater into the ropes, but Slater pops off of them and hits a single leg dropkick and kips up. Slater climbs to the top rope and hits the Crossover for a two count.
Slater tries to suplex JDC, but it’s blocked. JDC sweeps Slater’s legs in the corner. Slater tries to counter a lift, but JDC hits a tornado DDT. JDC climbs to the top rope, but Slater slows his progress. They exchange strikes until Slater leaps up and kicks JDC off of the top rope to the outside. Slater hits a flipping dive over the ring post onto JDC and then throws him back into the ring.
Slater climbs to the top rope and goes for the Swanton 450. JDC moves and Slater rolls through. JDC grabs a hold of Slater and rolls him up for the win! JDC had his feet on the ropes, but the referee didn’t see.
Winner: JDC
A video package airs for the TNA Knockouts World Championship match.
Gia Miller is in the back. She has learned that Hammerstone has an injury and won’t be able to wrestle tonight. Jake Something enters the frame and Gia asks if he has a replacement partner for tonight. Something doesn’t feel like he needs a replacement partner. He can handle everything on his own.
Frankie Kazarian vs. Jonathan Gresham
Frankie Kazarian calls for Jade Chung to start things off with a reminder to everyone that he is the King of TNA. Once that happens, Kazarian takes a cheap shot at Jonathan Gresham as Gresham was talking to the referee.
Gresham ends up recovering and slaps on the Octopus through the ropes, which has to be broken up. Gresham hits a crossbody off of the top rope for a two count. He then charges Kazarian in the corner, but eats an elbow. Kazarian then pulls Gresham down on the ropes and hits a clothesline. Kazarian sends Gresham into the ropes and hits a tackle. Gresham recovers quickly and gets in a couple of shots. He goes for a suplex, but Kazarian counters with a suplex of his own.
Kazarian whips Gresham into the corner and Gresham goes into it chest first. Gresham gets in a chop, but Kazarian recovers and hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two count. Kazarian keeps Gresham down on the mat and stretches Gresham’s arm behind his back. Gresham stands out of it and front flips into a reversal attempt. Kazarian maintains control, though, and lifts Gresham up. Gresham is able to counter into a pin, which Kazarian kicks out of. Gresham then uses his quickness to counter some moves. Gresham almost rolls Kazarian up, but Kazarian transitions it into a Chicken Wing. Gresham rolls through it, which Kazarian kicks out of.
Gresham locks on the Octopus. Kazarian goes down in the hold and Gresham rains down some punches. Gresham locks it on tighter, but Kazarian is able to reach the ropes to break the hold. Kazarian blocks an Irish Whip by holding onto the ropes, so Gresham chops him hard. Kazarian holds onto the ropes in the next whip attempt. Gresham finds himself on the apron after a missed charge at Kazarian. Kazarian forces Gresham into the ring with a pull on the ropes and hits a cutter for a two count.
Kazarian locks on the Chicken Wing. Gresham fights it off and arm drags Kazarian over. Gresham gets a hold of Kazarian, but Kazarian rolls through and rolls Gresham up. He puts his feet on the ropes and the referee doesn’t see it, but Gresham kicks out. Kazarian thumbs Gresham in the eyes and locks on the Chicken Wing. Gresham taps!
Winner: Frankie Kazarian

TNA X-Division Champion Moose vs. KUSHIDA
Moose tries to corner KUSHIDA and use his power early, but KUSHIDA avoids him at first. Moose does get a hold of him and gets in a hard strike. He then sends KUSHIDA into the corner hard. Moose charges at him, but KUSHIDA moves and Moose hits the turnbuckle with his shoulder. KUSHIDA tries to target Moose’s arm, but Moose shrugs it off and pushes KUSHIDA off.
Moose ends up going to the outside after missing an attack on KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA tries to leap onto him, but Moose catches him and tosses him into the steps. Moose then slams KUSHIDA down hard onto the apron. Moose gets back into the ring and the referee starts the ten count on KUSHIDA. The referee is about to count KUSHIDA out, but Moose stops him.
Moose goes to the outside and runs around the ring to go after KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA moves out of the way and Moose goes shoulder first into the stairs. KUSHIDA drives Moose’s arm into the steps and then rolls Moose back into the ring. KUSHIDA kicks at Moose’s arm and then grinds Moose’s hand on the top rope. He does it a second time. He tries to do it a third time, but Moose rakes KUSHIDA’s eyes.
KUSHIDA recovers and climbs to the second rope. Moose grabs him, though, and hits Go to Hell for a two count. Moose sets up for a powerbomb, but struggles because of his arm. KUSHIDA gets out of it and cranks Moose's arm and then kicks Moose’s legs. KUSHIDA hits a palm strike in the corner, but then eats a uranage. Moose gets a two count.
Favoring his arm, Moose kicks at KUSHIDA as KUSHIDA is down. Moose slaps KUSHIDA hard, which pumps KUSHIDA up. KUSHIDA gets up and gets in a series of hard strikes. KUSHIDA locks on the Hoverboard Lock, but Moose gets out of it quickly. KUSHIDA is able to drop Moose into the turnbuckle, though, and hits a tornado DDT. KUSHIDA follows that up with Back to the Future for a two count.
They stand and exchange strikes in the center of the ring. KUSHIDA hits a Tanaka Punch. Moose hits a headbutt. Moose runs up the ropes and leaps off. KUSHIDA catches him and locks on the Hoverboard Lock. KUSHIDA keeps it locked in. After a struggle, Moose makes it to the ropes to break the hold.
KUSHIDA walks over to Moose in the corner. Moose drags him into the turnbuckle and sets up for a Spear. KUSHIDA counters the moves Moose tries to do. He goes for a handspring move, but Moose hits a dropkick and a Spear for the win!
Winner and STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Moose
Gia Miller is in the back with First Class. KC Navarro says that without AJ Francis, no one would believe in Joe Hendry. Tonight, though, everyone will believe in AJ Francis. Francis says that he’s worked hard for this moment. He has never wanted anything more than to be the World Champion. He’ll do so tonight by slamming Nic Nemeth through the TNA logo in the ring. There’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it. If you ain’t First Class…you’re last.
The Rascalz vs. Jake Something vs. Sami Callihan and PCO in a Three-Way Tag Team Match
As reported on the Countdown to Final Resolution, Hammerstone is not able to wrestle tonight, so Jake Something has elected to battle solo in this match.
Zachary Wentz and Sami Callihan start things off. They circle and lock up. Callihan grabs an arm and cranks it. Wentz rolls and flips out of it, but eats a tackle by Callihan. Callihan hits the ropes and ducks under Wentz. Callihan hits a clothesline. Wentz pushes Callihan into the corner and Something tags himself in.
Wentz is able to hit a headscissors, but Something shakes it off and levels Wentz. Something hits the ropes, ducks under some attacks, and levels Wentz again. Wentz pushes off Something and Trey Migeul tags in. The Rascalz double team Something, using the Motor City Machine Guns moves. Something tags in PCO. PCO levels Something and enters the ring.
The Rascalz double team PCO with a tribute to Chris Bey. PCO pops up and hits a double clothesline. PCO clotheslines Miguel. He clotheslines Wentz. He lifts Miguel and tags in Callihan. Callihan hits an Air Raid Crash for a two count. Callihan keeps Miguel down on the mat and ties him up. He rains down a hard forearm on Miguel and tags in PCO. Callihan drives PCO’s head to run into Miguel in the corner, Bushwacker-style.
Callihan tags back in. PCO rakes Miguel’s front as Callihan rakes Miguel’s back. Miguel starts to fight back and ducks under, causing PCO and Callihan to collide. Miguel hits a springboard moonsault and tags in Wentz. Callihan tags in Something.
Something goes after Wentz on the apron. He lifts Wentz up for a powerbomb, but Wentz headscissors something into the ring. Wentz uses his speed to take down something and then hits a big German Suplex. Wentz hits an uppercut on Something in the corner and Miguel tags in.
The Rascalz double team Something. Wentz hits a superkick and Miguel hits a Crucifix Bomb. He pins, but Callihan breaks it up. Something rolls out of the ring while PCO clotheslines Wentz over the top and goes over with him. Callihan’s dive is stopped by Miguel. Miguel hits a dive.
Callihan goes for a dive again. Wentz stops him. Callihan sends Wentz over the top onto everyone. Callihan points to the top turnbuckle. PCO climbs to the top rope and hits the PCOsault to the outside.
Something is tossed into the ring. Callihan hits a Stunner on him. Miguel enzuigiris Callihan. PCO takes out Miguel. Wentz hits a Shooting Star Press on PCO. Something powerbombs Wentz. He powerbombs Miguel. He powerbombs Callihan. He powerbombs PCO.
PCO pops up. He exchanges strikes with Something. PCO sets up for a reverse DDT, but Miguel dives onto him. Wentz hits the UFO Cutter on PCO. The Rascalz hit Feed ‘Em to the Lions on Something for the win!
Winners: The Rascalz
After the match, Sami Callihan is frustrated, but he and PCO shake the hands of The Rascalz. As the two teams embrace, the 23 teaser airs. Everyone in the ring is confused.
Steve Maclin and Eric Young are in the back. Young tells Maclin that he knows Maclin will win tonight and get the title shot. Young says that he has Maclin’s back tonight. Maclin appreciates it, but feels he won’t need help.
