Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven
Before the match starts, Trent Seven rips away a Chris Bey shirt from Ace Austin.
The bell rings and Austin charges at Seven. Seven moves and chops at Austin. Austin returns with some shots. Austin trips up Seven and hits a basement dropkick. Seven rolls to the outside. Austin follows him out and hits a Drive By Dropkick and then a superkick from the apron. Austin drops down to the floor. He chops Seven, gets in some kicks, and sends Seven back into the ring. Austin attempts to leap up to the top rope, but Seven knocks him off.
Seven slams Austin down with Austin’s legs hitting the ropes. Austin is whipped into the corner hard by Seven. Seven throws a couple punches and sends Austin into the corner. He charges at Austin, but is blocked. Seven gets in a quick chop, though, and then slams Austin for a two count. Seven chops Austin hard for a one count. Seven chops Austin again and kicks him for a two count.
Seven chops Austin three times for a one count. Seven chops Austin eight more times as Austin asks for more. Seven fakes another one and goes low with a chop. He hits a DDT for a two count. Austin is able to send Seven into the corner. He hits a running kick. He goes for another one, but Seven catches him and slams Austin down.
Seven doesn’t go for a cover. Instead, he grabs the Chris Bey shirt and rubs it on his nether region. He then rips the shirt up and throws it into the crowd. Austin charges at Seven and hits a leaping strike in the corner. He hits another one and then a series of short clotheslines in the corner. Austin hits a springboard spinning kick for a two count.
Austin lifts Seven and drives him into the corner. Austin lays in a series of chops and then lifts Seven to the top rope. He chops Seven and joins him at the top. Seven grabs Austin, but Austin wiggles out of the slam attempt. Austin runs along the apron and hits a leaping headscissors and a double stomp for a two count.
Austin rains down some punches with Seven on the mat. Austin climbs to the top rope, but Seven gets up and chops Austin’s leg. Seven goes to the apron and lifts Austin onto his shoulder. Seven hits Austin with a Burning Hammer on the apron. Seven rolls into the ring slowly and covers Austin. Austin gets his foot on the rope to stop the count.
Seven kicks at Austin on the mat and then snaps his fingers. Seven slams Austin down for a two count. Seven chops Austin and then calls for the Seven Star Lariat. Austin blocks it and hits a spinning heel kick. Seven hits Bop and Bang. Austin recovers and goes for the Art of Finesse, but Seven blocks it.
Seven hits the Seven Start Lariat and a twisting piledriver. Seven covers and Austin kicks out at one. Seven chops Austin and lifts him for a Burning Hammer. Austin wiggles out. Seven goes for the Xplex, but Austin strikes out of it. Austin hits the Art of Finesse and The Fold for the win!
Winner: Ace Austin
Frankie Kazarian’s win over Jonathan Gresham on the Countdown to Final Resolution is shown.
Frankie Kazarian is in the back. He’ll be keeping an eye on the main event tonight. He wants to end 2024 on a high note, as both King of TNA and TNA World Champion.
Jordynne Grace vs. Rosemary
Rosemary tries to start off quickly with a charge, but Jordynne Grace ducks and gets in some strikes. Grace hits an Inverted Atomic Bomb and then some running strikes. Grace hits a basement clothesline for a two count. Grace goes for the Juggernaut Driver, but Rosemary blocks it.
Grace lifts Rosemary to the top turnbuckle and follows her up. Rosemary fights her off and goes for a Sunset Flip Bomb. Grace holds on, so Rosemary bites Grace’s leg. Grace sets up for the Electric Chair, but Rosemary turns it into the Upside Down. She then rips Grace’s right arm across the top rope. Rosemary hits a running strike for a one count and then rains down punches with Grace on the mat.
Rosemary locks on an arm stretch and then sends Grace into the corner shoulder first. Rosemary wraps Grace’s arm around the second rope and then hits a running forearm in the corner. She runs at Grace again, but gets lifted over the top rope to the apron. Grace tries to strike at Rosemary, but Rosemary moves and kicks Grace. She reenters the ring and works over Grace’s arm.
Rosemary wraps Grace’s arm around the bottom rope. She then hits a running basement forearm on Grace. The action spills to the outside where Rosemary chops Grace. Grace whips Rosemary, but Rosemary rebounds off of the steps and hits a leaping kick. Rosemary rolls back into the ring and the referee starts her count on Grace.
Grace beats the count, but Rosemary jumps on top of Grace right away and locks on a headlock. Grace stands out of it and drives Rosemary into the corner. Grace charges, but Rosemary attempts a backslide. Grace reverses and tries a backslide of her own. Rosemary kicks out and gets slapped by Grace. Rosemary rises up and tries to hit As Above So Below, but Grace counters with a slam for a two count.
Grace hits a spinning backfist and a slam. She goes for the Vader Bomb, but Rosemary moves and hits a Spear. Grace absorbs it and hits a spinning backfist for a two count. Rosemary rolls to the apron. Grace follows Rosemary to the ramp and gets trapped in a sleeper hold by Rosemary. The referee starts her count on both women. Grace lifts Rosemary and falls back on the ramp.
Grace kicks Rosemary off of her. Rosemary rebounds and hits a Spear between the ropes for a two count. Grace blocks As Above So Below and hits Shades of Samoa. The referee is pulled out of the ring during the pin by someone dressed in all black with a mask.
Winner: No Contest
Jordynne Grace is pulled out of the ring by the masked person. Grace gets beat up outside of the ring by the masked person. The masked person sends Grace into the ring and hits her with a DDT. The masked person unmasks and it is…TESSA BLANCHARD!
A Genesis ad airs.
Gia Miller approaches Tessa Blanchard in the back. Blanchard says that she is back and is taking what is hers. She then shoves Gia Miller and leaves.
Mike Santana vs. Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin - Winner challenges TNA Champion at Genesis 2025
Eric Young joins the commentary table.
The bell rings and all four men size each other up. Josh Alexander is the odd man out and his three competitors go after him. He goes to the outside and is followed out by Joe Hendry and Steve Maclin. Alexander strikes Hendry, but then eats a dive by Mike Santana. Santana sends Alexander into the ring and chops him in the corner. He whips Alexander and chops him again.
Alexander wiggles out of Santana’s grasp and sends Santana to the outside. Maclin comes in and Alexander is able to dispose of him to the outside. Hendry comes in and knocks down Alexander. Alexander wiggles out of a Fallaway Slam, but Santana comes in and stops Alexander. Santana and Maclin send Alexander into Hendry, who levels Alexander. Alexander rolls to the outside.
Maclin, Santana, and Hendry then go after each other. Santana catches a Maclin kick and hits an enzuigiri. Hendry strikes Santana and hits a running cutter on Maclin. Hendry hits a delayed suplex on Maclin. Alexander pulls Hendry out of the ring and sends him into the steps. Maclin hits a dive on Alexander. Santana hits a big boot on Maclin and then sends him into the ring.
Santana goes for a springboard move, but Alexander pulls him down. Alexander enters the ring and hits several German Suplexes on Maclin. Maclin fights out of it eventually and clubs at Alexander’s back in the corner. He puts Alexander in the Tree of Woe and charges at him. Alexander lifts up and Maclin goes to the outside. Hendry is waiting and levels Maclin.
Hendry tries to enter the ring, but gets caught in a Dragon Screw by Alexander. Alexander works over Hendry’s leg and keeps Maclin from entering the ring. Hendry hits some uppercuts, but Alexander recovers. He tries to leap off of the second rope, but Hendry moves out of the way. Alexander gets up, though, and hits a big frearm for a two count.
Alexander clubs at Hendry’s back as Hendry powers up. Hendry returns with some shots, but Alexander gets a knee up and sends Hendry out of the ring. Santana gets into the ring and exchanges strikes with Alexander. Santana hits a spinning kick, but is lifted over the ropes and onto the apron. Alexander hits a crossbody between the ropes on Santana and hits a big boot on Maclin. Back in the ring, Alexander charges Santana in the corner and hits a chop. Alexander hits a throw and then a knee to the head for a two count.
Rapper Westside Gunn is shown at ringside.
Alexander hits a belly-to-back suplex on Santana. Alexander goes after Maclin on the apron. Maclin tries to suplex him, but Alexander counters and hits a German Suplex on the ramp. Back in the ring, Alexander tries to hit the C4 Spike on Santana. Santana wiggles out and hits the Rolling Buck Fifty for a two count. Santana tries to Spin the Block, but Alexander ducks. Alexander goes to the top with Santana. They exchange strikes on the ropes. Alexander bites Santana and goes for a suplex. Hendry and Maclin come in and lift Alexander up. Santana leaps off the ropes and hits the Streetsweeper.
Santana and Hendry exchange strikes. Hendry is whipped into the corner, but bounces out and tackles Santana. Hendry hits the Fallaway Slam on Santana and kips up. Maclin hits the Busaiku Knee on Hendry. Santana breaks up the pin and hits the DVD on Maclin for a two count. Santana goes for the Rolling Buck Fifty on Alexander, but Alexander counters with the Torture Rack Bomb for a two count.
Alexander climbs to the top rope. Hendry meets him up there. Alexander knocks him off the ropes, but Hendry pops back up and hits a Fallaway Slam from the top. Maclin hits a Splash on Hendry. Santana hits a Splash on Maclin. Alexander locks on the Ankle Lock on Santana. The hold is broken. Alexander picks up Maclin on the apron and slams him down. Santana hits a dive on Alexander. Hendry hits a dive on everyone.
Hendry attempts Standing Ovation on Maclin, but it’s blocked. They hit a double clothesline on each other. Both men are down. On the outside, Alexander sends Santana into the ring post and then zip ties Santana to a ringside gate (it takes him a while to get it to work).
In the ring, Maclin sets up Hendry in the Tree of Woe and hits Crosshairs. Maclin sets up for KIA, but Hendry wiggles out. Alexander enters the ring and pushes the referee. With the referee turned around, Alexander low blows Maclin. He goes for the C4 Spike on Maclin, but Hendry breaks it up and hits Standing Ovation on Alexander for the win!

No matter what, though, he’s the wanted man for a reason. He’s the best TNA World Champion and it’s going to stay that way.
