We take a look back at last week's Smackdown.
Solo Sikoa makes his way to the ring wtih Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
While the crowd chants for Roman, Solo demands that the crowd acknowledge him.
Solo says that you better get used to this because you are looking at the present and the future. You are looking at the Bloodline. You are looking at the tribal chief. He says he created a bigger and stronger family. He created a bigger and stronger bloodline. Roman can't do nothing about it. Jimmy can't do nothing about it neither. Jimmy goes to Raw to try to get Jey's help but Jey doesn't want anything to do with it either. Solo says no Yeet. These beat downs will continue to happen to Roman unless he does one thing. Unless he comes down to the ring by the end of the night and he acknowledges him.
Jey Uso's music plays and he makes his way through the crowd.
Jey asks his brother what's up. He says it's been a minute. He promises he is not out here to fight him. At the end of the day, he still cares about his little brother. Jey says Jimmy and Roman aren't here yet and he wanted to talk to Solo one on one . . . Uce to Uce. He tells Solo to think about what he is doing and what he is doing to the family. He tells him to think about what he is doing to the Bloodline.
Jey says no one has bigger issues with Roman than him and he left the family to be his own man. He left to Raw and he became the Intercontinental Champion. Jey tells Solo fighting over the Ula Fala is not it. That is earned, not taken and Solo knows better. If you want to end Roman's power, then do it. Don't divide the family while you do it.
Solo asks Jey if he is done wasting his time. Solo says he said nothing about dividing the family. He says he is trying to unite the family. Solo tells Jey not to call him his little brother because he is Jey's tribal chief. He says he will have a place fo Jey and Roman in his bloodline, but Jey has to acknowledge him. He tells Jey not to follow Jimmy's foot steps. He asks if Jey is in or out.
Jey says if what Solo is saying is true and he is trying to unite the Bloodline, why did you have to go and get them? Tama? Tonga? Why Jacob? He tells Jacob if he keeps staring at him he will knock his ass out.
Solo holds Fatu back.
Jey says the next time he sees Solo, it will be different. Jey tells Solo 'YEET'.
Jey makes his way to the back.
We go to commercial.
Match Number One: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa versus Kit Wilson and Elton Prince versus Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford in a Number One Contender Qualifying Match
Elton rolls tot he floor and Ciampa goes for an O'Connor Roll on Ford. Ford lands on his feet when Ciampa flips him. Ford with a drop kick for a near fall. Ciampa with a knee and he kicks Ford. Prince slaps Ciampa and Ciampa is not happy with what Elton did. Elton goes to the floor and he runs from Ciampa but Kit with a shoulder tackle. Dawkins with a POUNCE to Kit. Gargano with a suicide dive onto Dawkins. Ford with a flip dive. Ford kicks Gargano from the apron. Ciampa with a jumping knee as Ford comes off the turnbuckles when Gargano moves. Wilson with a rollup for a near fall. Elton tags in and Kit runs Ciampa into the corner. Kit with a slingshot Codebreaker to Ciampa for a near fall from Elton.
Prince with a European uppercut and he kicks Ciampa while Kit chokes Ciampa. Pretty Deadly pose in the ring.
Ford with a rollup on Prince for a near fall. Wilson with a near fall on Ford. Kit with a European uppercut to Ciampa and he sends Ford into the turnbuckles. Prince tags in and he kicks Ford. Kit tags back in and Prince with a European uppercut to Ciampa and then they miss moves into the corner when Ford and Ciampa move. Dawkins and Gargano tag in and they clohesline Kit and Elton. Gargano with knees in the corner while Dawkins hits a twisting splash into teh corner. Dawkins and Gargano take care of Prince. Gargano with a thrust kick to Princ on the apron. Gargano with a slingshot spear to Prince and Dawkins sends Gargano to the apron. Johnny with a kick but Dawkins with a twisting neck breaker for a near fall.
Gargano with a rana to Dawkins and Ciampa with Willow's Bell to Wilson for a near fall. Ciampa with a chop to Kit and he wants more so Ciampa chops him. Ciampa with a boot to the chest. Ciampa with more chops to Kit. Kit falls to the mat. Ciampa puts Kit on the turnbuckles and he sets for a super Air Raid Crash and he hits it but Ford with a 450 splash for a near fall on Ciampa when Gargano breaks up the cover. PRince with a clothesline to Dawkins and Gargano with a super kick. Dawkins passes Ciampa to Ford for a belly-to-back suplex. Kit gets a near fall on Ciampa. Prince tags in and they set for Spilled Milk but Ford with a super kick to Prince and then to Kit. Ford goes up top.
Prince crotches Ford and tags in Kit. They set for a double superplex but Dawkins with a forearm to the back and he gets Prince on his shoulders for the Doomsday Blockbuster but Ciampa with a knee to Wilson and he covers Wilson while Dawkins pins Prince.
Winners: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa
The referee advises the ring announcer that Prince was not the leg man in the match.
We take a look at what happened last week when Naomi pinned Nia Jax.
Corey mentions that there is an issue with the scheduled women's tag match and we will get an update.
We go to commercial.
We see a vehicle arrive and Jimmy Uso and Roman Reign emerge.
They walk into Jey and Jimmy wants to know what is happening.
Jey starts to walk away and Roman pulls him back. Roman stares at Jey and he tells him that he is proud of Jey. He says they all are.
Jey says no YEET and he walks away.
Roman tells Jimmy that he told him and they walk the other way.
Nia Jax is on the phone and she is told that Tiffany has the flu. NIa complains about Dom and Liv and then he says that since Tiffany isn't there, the match has to be canceled.
Nick says the match isn't canceled and he tells NIa to find someone else.
Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae conveniently show up and Candice says as the Women's Speed champion, she is willing to help out.
NIck says the match is booked.
Nia tells Candice to hold up her end of the bargain and if she doesn't it will take less than three minutes.
We see Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (who are members of the Smackdown brand) sitting in the crowd.
Match Number Two: Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green) versus Lash Legend (with Jakara Jackson)
Lash and Piper push each other and Lash has words for Piper. Lash with a side head lock and Lash bounces off Piper on a shoulder tackle. Piper with a shoulder tackle. Piper misses a splash and Lash with a bicycle kick and a splash for a near fall. Piper catches Lash in the corner and hits a uranage and a splash for a near fall. Piper signals for the cannonball and she misses when Lash moves. Lash with a chop and forearm. Lash goes for a choke slam but Piper with a back elbow. Piper misses a splash and Lash with a splash. Lash gets Piper up but Piper gets to her feet. Piper with a head butt. Lash catches Piper on a cross body and Lash with a slam.
Lash has some words for Chelsea and Jackson sends Green into the ringside barrier. Piper with a splash into the corner but Piper misses a Vader Bomb. Lash gets Piper up and hits a modified bulldog for the three count.
Winner: Lash Legend
We see the Crown Jewel belt being locked in is case as it is carried in the back.
