The panel talks about the Intercontinental Championship Match.

Peter Rosenberg is with Miz and R Truth with some fans.

Seth Rollins sat down with Michael Cole.

Cole asks about Drew and Punk and his thoughts on the match.  Seth says he doesn't know if he can say what he thinks about this match.  He says he does not like either of them.  His history with Drew is documented.  There is a personal divide with Punk.  He told Punk to stay out of his business and he couldn't.  He had to get close to hiim.  Seth says he has a short fuse with Punk.  If there is a way for both of them to lose, that is okay.

Cole brings up Punk's return at Survivor Series and how Seth reacted.  Where does it come from.  Seth says he looked up to him and he thought Punk had the best interest of the industry.  That is the image he projects but that isn't true.  When push comes to shove, it is all about him.  He is a liar, a crook, and a scam artist.  He makes you think he is a messiah but Punk only cares about himself and lining his pockets.

Cole mentions that Drew feels the same way about Punk as him but he feels that way about Drew too.  Seth says he understands why Drew doesn't like Punk, but you give Punk more attention, it feeds the beast.  He propped Punk up and put him in this position.  He does not agree with Drew's approach to things, but he can put himself in Drew's shoes.  He knows how it feels to be slighted and grind to get where you need to be.  He does not get what Punk is doing.  Drew put himself in a tough spot.

Cole asks being the referee for the match tonight.  He asks if Seth is going to call it down the middle.  Seth says he will let it ride.  He wants both of them to tear each other apart.  He doesn't care who wins.  He wants them to both get injured.

Seth says he was put in this position and he didn't ask for this.  This will be a lot of fun for him.

Jackie Redmond takes over as host.

We see Triple H with Jelly Roll.

Gunther and Damian Priest are at the stadium and they walk.

We go to a Damian Priest interview with Peter Rosenberg in the Bronx.

Peter asks how often did he go to Yankee Stadium.  He says in the 90s and early 2000s he got to see so many iconic players.  Peter mentions that there is a toughness in the Bronx.  He says it was what you expect.  There is a reputation and you see it in movies and it is like that.  He says he would play baseball with his dad.  Peter asks if he thought he could be a professional athlete and he said it was an option.  He says there was a time when he was feeling down.  He was bartending at the Hammerstein Ballroom and there were wrestling events and he felt it was possible.  He talks about being a wrestler at the time.  That is when he started getting opportunities.  He felt that he could do this and be a star.

Peter asks about early conversations with Triple H if he saw something in Priest.  Priest says he had a talk with Hunter and he says he sees a lot more in him than others.  He is asked if there is pressure since Triple H is watching him.  He says he doesn't want to fail himself or Hunter.  He says Hunter always supported him and he will be loyal.  He says it is humbling to be able to stand in Yankee Stadium.  He is asked how will the people react to him at SummerSlam.  He says he has said the crowd reaction doesn't affect him, but he has felt a little passion because they have accepted him and believe in him.  He says he has pride that he didn't think he would have had.

Peter asks about The Judgment Day and how they have his back.  Priest says it makes things easier and he says Rhea will walk out as champion and so will he.  He is asked how do you deal with Gunther.  He says he wouldn't change what he does because it got him here.  Gunther won't keep him down and the king will fall.

We take a look at what happened at the Damian Priest program on Friday and Gunther makes an appearance.

Peter Rosenberg has replaced Pat McAfee.

We have a Bloodline video package.

The panel talks about the Undisputed Title match.

We take a look at some numbers related to SummerSlam.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Rhea Ripley earlier this week.

She welcomes Rhea back and asks about Wrestlemania and how she was feeling.  Rhea says they were on top and they ran WWE.  It was so perfect and they were so happy.    Jackie asks about her injury and giving up the title.  Rhea says it was heartbreaking and depressing.  They were at such a high and to have it taken away so quickly.  She knew her shoulder was bad after she hit the wall.  She says she didn't want to believe how bad it would be but they talked about how it wasn't dislocated but worse.  She says she was pissed that she would have to take time off.  She felt hungry to come back.  Rhea is asked how is her shoulder and Rhea says Liv is someone she knows well.  She knows that Liv will target the shoulder.

Jackie asks about her past with Liv and what Liv has done recently to her.  Rhea says Liv went too far.  Coming into The Judgment Day and manipulating her boys.  Use your fists to come after her.  Don't come after what is hers.  You took months from her career.  When you bring family into it, you have gone too far.  Jackie asks Rhea about how things are with Dom since she was away.  Rhea says she thought they loved each other but when she got injured, the communication slowed down.  She tried to make time for Dom.

Jackie brings up what Dom said to Liv and how did Rhea feel watching that.  Rhea says she was excited and aroused.  Her heart skipped a few beats.  She gave him a kiss and seeing Liv walk away brought some joy to her heart.  Rhea says her mindset is the same and that is to bring the brutality.  She cannot wait to get her hands on Liv and she wants to do something that she hasn't done in a while.  She needs to win the title to show that she is still on top and that they run Raw and the WWE.

Cathy Kelley is with Liv Morgan and she asks for her comments.

Liv says she does not care or think about what Rhea says.  Rhea will be the only one crying because the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour ends when she ends Rhea.  Cathy asks if this will be the end of the road.  Liv says she doesn't think about this and the interview is over.

Byron Saxton is with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton.  He asks Nia about her thoughts about tonight.  Nia says she will beat Bayley and she cannot wait to be reckless and clumsy tonight.  She will be the new Women's Champion.

Byron asks Tiffany about her new briefcase and he asks, as a journalist, if there will be a cash in.  Nia interrupts and says the interview is over.

Michael Cole is in the ring and he talks about an interview he did with CM Punk.  We take a look at the interview.

Punk comments on the purple suit and Cole welcomes Punk back and he asks how he is today compared to the Punk that left a decade ago.  Punk says he is the same person idealistically and he still has a temper because that makes him must see television.  He is not fully satisfied but more satisfied.  Everything is so fleeting so he is trying to enjoy it.  Cole asks if he grew up.  Punk says he wants to keep that youthful exuberance.  He says he has matured.  He loves every tattoo and he wouldn't erase any of them.  It is a road map of where he has been and how he got back here.

Cole mentions that his return was polarizing.  Some were excited to see him back but some didn't want him back.  How were the first few weeks back.  Punk says it was overwhelming.  He didn't listen to all of the critics.  There are some who are always going to be jealous.  Cole asks what about the people who expect the 'old CM Punk' to come back.  Punk says they are bigger fans of him.  The biggest haters follow you more.  Everyone is a fan and everyone pays attention to what he does.  He is the first to help you out or the first to punch you in the face.

Cole asks if the naysayers push him and drive him to prove them wrong.  Punk asks what is more motivating than being told you are wrong.  Being different is what has made him.  Cole asks about getting injured the the Royal Rumble.  Punk says he was saying 'no no no no no' when it happened.  He felt a hole in his arm and he knew it was gone and he had to try to get through it.  Punk is asked about not being able to main event Wrestlemania.  He says the loss was disappointing but his friend won.  He had the best seat in the house to watch Cody celebrate.  He was more crushed that he was hurt than that he lost.  Punk says he will use this year's experience to get into the main event next year.

Seth Rollins replaces Peter Rosenberg on the panel and we get singing and cackling.

Jackie asks Seth since he hates both men, how can he keep his emotions out of it.  Seth says the hate is equal.  He says he is an equal opportunity hater.  He will not be biased toward either wrestler.  He says he is the best possible person to call this match.  Wade asks about Seth's comments about wanting neither to win.  He brings up three options and will it happen?  Seth says he wants to see them beat each other out.  Seth says he thinks he might be able to count to ten.  Seth says he cannot promise if he won't get involved.  Big E asks Seth what his rules are and Seth says he doesn't know because he has never refereed a match before.  Anything is possible and he says he cannot wait to lay down the law.

Wade tells Seth that Drew McIntyre is now a Bears fan.

We have been advised that Smackown debuts on USA on September 13th and NXT debuts on The CW on October 1st.

X Pac joins the panel.  He is asked for his favorite SummerSlam memory and it is him and Kane against Undertaker and Big Show from 1999 in Minneapolis.  He says they lost the title and Wade asks how that was his favorite and Waltman says he got paid well.  Wade asks Waltman about Logan Paul.  He says Logan does a lot of cool stuff and he is impressed with Logan for being that good that quick.  Wade asks about his chances tonight.  Waltman says he is an LA Knight fan.  Logan is great but he is doing a lot besides WWE stuff.

We see Big E throwing out the first pitch at a Guardians game and his involvement in the hot dog race.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Logan Paul at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Logan says he has to be humble in Cleveland.  He says he was in a band and he was the vocalist.  Logan is asked if he would have been a rock star, but he says he tried and failed.  Logan is asked when did becoming a WWE superstar become a reality.  He says after his first Wrestlemania, everyone told him that he crushed it.  Logan says he had so much fun and it was a dream job.  Logan says he loves it.  It is showmanship, physicality, and storytelling.  Jackie asks him about facing Roman Reigns in his third match while LA Knight fought through the industry for over a decade.  She asks if Knight is jealous.  Logan says he would be jealous.  He says he has to respect Knight.  He is a social media guy but he is tough.

Jackie asks Logan if he feels like a rock star.  He says when his music plays, he feels he can be a puppeteer for everyone in the crowd.  He says he has what it takes to be a WWE Superstar.

Wade asks Waltman how Logan would have been accepted in the 90s.  Waltman says it would have been harder to be accepted back them.  He would have had to pay a lot of dues back then.

We have a video package about the influence of music in WWE.

Pat McAfee is with Jelly Roll.  He talks about opening up SummerSlam.  Pat asks him to tell the people about him.  Roll says he is not qualified to be here but he is glad to be here.  He says he knows what is going on in WWE.

We have a video package for the Gunther and Priest match.

We take a look at John Cena's announcement from Money in the Bank.

We take a look back at SummerSlam 2015.

We have a video package on Cleveland.

Michael introduces Joe Tessitore.

Joe talks about walking to the ring with Cole.  Cole mentions that Joe is a wrestling fan.  He says this is not the Washington Avenue armory.  He says he is psyched for tonight.  Michael mentions that Joe will be starting on Raw on September 2nd.  Cole says he will be moving to Smackdown on USA.

We are told that Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will kick off the pay per view.

We take a look at that match with a video package.

Byron Saxton says he talked to Rhea about her match.  He says that Rhea said that Liv's revenge tour ends tonight.

Cathy says she talked to Liv and that Rhea would be the one leaving Cleveland crying tonight.

We go to Part 2 of CM Punk's interview with Michael Cole.

Cole asks about Drew's comments about Punk and what did that do to him.  Punk says he didn't see it coming from Drew.  He would not have been surprised if it came from Seth.  Drew was wasted potential for years and he is mad at himself.  Punk says if he is the totem for Drew to take it out on, that is fine.  It is what he says and does to him is what makes it his business.  Cole says that Punk is obsessed with what he has done to Drew.  Punk says there are consequences and repurcussions for what you do and say.  it is the disrespect and gloating.  Drew prayed for him to get injured.  He knows that Drew has been fired and sidelined before.  Punk says it is a low thing.  It was Drew's dream to be champion and Punk says his goal is to make sure that Drew is not champion.

Cole asks Punk if this is the best he has felt.  Punk says his arm is brand new, but everything else is improving.  He says his heart is the same it ever was.  He says he is coming for his pound of flesh.  Cole asks about Seth being the referee and if he is going to be unbiased.  Punk says if he said he didn't care that wouldn't be truthful.  He says he is focusing Drew.  He does not know if he can beat Drew, but he knows he can hurt him.  Seth is a welcome distraction.  Seth saw what Punk did in Glasgow and Seth says he is glad he thought about being referee but it was Punk who did it first.  Seth is a jealous brat following in his footsteps.  He says after he beats Drew, Seth can be next.

Cole asks Punk what is he expecting when he goes to the ring.  Punk says he is going to treat this like a fight on the streets.  If Seth wants to be the deciding factor in this match, so be it.  He says he is looking for red on Saturday.

Byron Saxton is with Drew McIntyre and he asks about his comments from last week and if he still feels the same way.  Drew says he wouldn't have said it if he didn't feel otherwise.  He has a nervous excitement.  He says this is where Punk walked out of WWE and the first singles match in 10 and a half years and it will be his last.  Did Punk get any sleep last night?  It isn't a title match and he won't be trying to beat him quick.  He will wear him down and Punk will go to sleep . . . permanently.
