GCW’s LA weekend continues tonight with “War Ready” featuring a main event of Minoru Suzuki vs Nick Gage. Lenny Leonard & Kevin Gill are on commentary. Emil Jay is your announcer. Lights up go and the ring is set for the opening 7-way scramble. Music hits! It’s Allie Katch and now it’s an 8-way scramble!
Match 1: Gringo Loco vs Lucas Riley vs Matt Vandergriff vs Brandon Gaston vs ASF vs JTG vs Eli Everfly vs Allie Katch
Allie surrounded early and she goes for a knife in her boot. JTG tosses her out and the boys get to brawling. Everfly with a quick flurry and a stunner to JTG. This crowd hates Everfly. Eli and ASF with a stereo dive to the crew. Gringo and ASF go to work but Matt Vandergriff cuts their sequence off. ASF sends Vandergriff out and hits a snap rana on Gringo. Gaston in and on fire, clears the ring but Vandergriff stuns and hits a moonsault for two. Gaston ducks an elbow off the apron but JTG sends him crashing to the floor. Riley coming at the gawd and tries s king shot crossbody. JTG catches him and Eli for a powerslam/powerbomb combo. Great power spot. Allie is back and goes low on JTG. Gaston with an ace crusher to JTG and Allie with a rope walk dive to the outside. Crowd is hot for this scramble. Riley torpedos himself through the second rope to everyone. Vandergriff and Gringo both join the dive party. Eli with a corkscrew senton and the crowd is all over him. ASF with a tornado dive and drags Gringo back in. ASF hits with a Norton lights by Allie and guys come off the ropes to cut that pin off. Eli tries a rana off the top…Vandergriff catches him and hits a styles clash off there. Riley shotguns Vandergriff into the corner. He comes running in and Eli comes off with a butterfly ddt off the top. Gringo and Vandergriff miss a doomsday device on ASF. Gatson with a handspring dive to the outside! Gringo hits a falcon arrow off the top to Vandergriff. Allie breaks up the pin. Katch with a rolling DVD and piledriver to Eli Everfly and he’s stuck down for the three count!

Match 2: Alex Zayne vs Jonathan Gresham
Gresham is NOT ready for the creative high flying offense of Zayne. He’s frustrated in the early moments as Zayne outworks him. Gresham finally finds his range and blasts Zayne with a dropkick. Gresham locks up the arms and stretches the shoulders deep, falling back into the stretch repeatedly, twisting at the leg and torturing Zayne further. Zayne escapes but gets drags back down quickly and Gresham tears at the arm. Zayne throws a few shots and staggers Gresham with a back elbow. Trip the leg. Back press two count. Gresham tries a sunset flip and damn near gets pinned himself. Gresham on the top, Zayne ranas him off but Gresha rolls him up. Kick out but Gresham switches to a crossface! Gresham does a great job keeping Zayne away from the rope, prolonging the agony. Crowd is split but high energy as Gresham and Zayne trade forearms. Back and forth kicks and enziguri’s! Gresham with a moonsault press into a dive. Gresham springboards but eats a knee! Rolling a cradle around the ring. They trade quick pin attempts until Zayne grabs a jackknife pin and Gresham is trapped for the three! Gresham shakes and raises the hand of Zayne. Great show of respect. Great matchup

Match 3: “The MF’in Truth” AJ Gray vs Dark Sheik
Gray muscles Sheik down in a headlock early. Sheik fighting out, with the crowd behind her but Gray traps the arms and legs….Sheik reverses the hold and grabs a headlock. Gray with a side slam and drops Sheik on her head. Sheik dodging the fists of Gray, hitting leg kicks and a leg lariat. Sheik with a rope walk head scissor and dropkick. Gray is shook as Dark Sheik takes a bow. Sheik with a foot choke and a slingshot legdrop and senton staggers Gray. Gray catches her running with a flapjack and rebounds into a senton. He pulls her up. He chops her down. Gray mocks her pain before whipping her hard to the corner. Sheik comes running but Gray with a spinning heel kick sends her out to the floor. Gray is fine with a count out win but Sheik makes it back. Sheik slips out of a suplex, uses her legs to slam Gray back. Sheik hits a top rope leg drop! Kick out! Sliced bread? Gray with a vicious chokeslam and powerbomb combo. Sheik kicks out! Gray up to the top, Dark Sheik intercepts….rana off the top! DDT off the corner! Two count! Gray powers out of a pump handle but he misses a shot and Sheik gets the pump handle driver on the second try. They fight to the top. Gray hits a superplex from the top. He calls for the lariat! BBC! Sheik kicks out! Gray tries again but Sheik does a Johnny Cage-like split and low punch. She runs into a spinebuster. Another BBC! Gray with a top rope splash and Dark Sheik stays down this time. This was a lot of fun and the crowd was super behind hometown favorite Dark Sheik through this.

Match 4: “The King of Strange” Arez vs Ninja Mack
This match is going to be wild. They try a few lockups before Mack drives Arez to the corner and celebrates a little too hard. Arez comes in but Mack sends him to the mat. Alex is ready for a head kick and Mack decides to grab a headlock instead. Mack flips up and around as Arez tries to escape and keeps going back to the headlock. They break and go through a back and forth flipping dodge sequence. Mack chops him down. Arez hits an enziguri. Arez comes in and pulls Mack’s ninja mask off. The crowd is FURIOUS with Arez for this. Mack is clearly upset. Arez slaps him and puts Mack’s mask on before throwing it back. NUCLEAR HEAT. Arez and Mack in a fist fight in the center! Arez hits a backbreaker and takes in the crowd booing the hell out of him. Mack with an atomic drop and Arez has to roll out. He tries a handspring dive but he stops it, seeming flustered still from the loss of his mask. Arez takes advantage and throws Mack headfirst into the first row. Mack staggering around the ringside area and Arez dives out at him repeatedly. Arez to the top and hits a double stomp. Kick out! Arez with a rollup. Kick out! Arez picks up Mack and hits a cradle driver. Kick out! Backbreaker! Kick out! Arez grabs a headlock. Mack escapes, hits a kick and wild corkscrew splash. Mack with a phoenix splash! Mack tries another phoenix splash but Arez sits up. Mack’s ready for it and does a superhero landing. Mack runs in, gets the headlock and pulls it back into a rear naked choke! Arez taps out and the crowd goes wild for that. Post-match, Arez gives Mack his mask back and they have a respectful handshake now that the fightin’ is done.

Match 5: Juicy Finau & Jacob Fatu vs Eye to Eye (Chris Dickinson & Starboy Charlie)
This goes right to war at the bell. Fatu sent to the outside and Starboy with a huge somersault dive. Dickinson shotguns Juicy into the corner but he rebounds to smash Chris. Dickinson and Finau ducking it out. Charlie cuts off a Fatu return. Juicy blows through his opponents and clotheslines them both. Juicy with a high toss press slam to Charlie. Frog splash flattens Starboy. Charlie tries to cutter Fatu but the big man springs out of it, hits a superkick and a handspring moonsault. Starboy getting mauled. He’s trying to fight out but the big Samoans are keeping him grounded and in pain. Dickinson is so frustrated on the apron. Starboy escapes but tries a rollup and Fatu makes him pay. Juicy in and headbutts Charlie into the ground. Charlie with a jaw jacker, stunning Juicy with an enziguri and Dirty Daddy gets the tag! Time to clean house. Dickinson with aggressive running clotheslines to Juicy. He pulls the rope and both his opponents find themselves on the floor. Dickinson with a brain buster to Fatu. Kick out! Charlie whips Dickinson into Fatu. Dickinson with a deadlift german! Charlie has a crossface on! Juicy breaks it up with a kick. Dickinson finds a door and lays waste with it. Fatu catches him unaware and spears Dickinson through his own door. Fatu hits a Samoan drop on Starboy. SUPER close two count. They grab a chair. Juicy throws it but Charlie ducks and Fatu eats it. Juicy taking head kicks from Starboy. Charlie pulls out his trunk string like his partner rocks. He cracks Juicy over the head with a door and gets the pin! GREAT finish here! Juicy and Fatu attack during their victory celebration. They leave Eye to Eye laying. Juicy holds back Dickinson back as Fatu tortured and beats on Starboy. Dickinson covers his partner up to keep him from more danger as Juicy & Fatu soak into the jeers of the crowd for their heinous actions. Folks from the back come out to help Starboy out of the ring, as he is completely wiped out from that attack.
