Welcome to my Money In The Bank blog.  As anyone who knows me is aware, I LOVE MITB!  The briefcase is super awesome.  OK, the truth is I hope they both get cashed in tonight.  Anyway, on the pre-show we have dad and son defending the Smackdown Tag Titles against the brothers.  Cole just said that Rey has been trying to get the Mysterios for the last year.  Didn’t he do that when mom and daughter disappeared?  I will have to ask Buddy Murphy about that.

Lots of fans in attendance in Fort Worth, TX.  I won’t be talking much about the virus since clearly everyone here is vaccinated as I see very few masks.

It’s cool that Rey gets to work with Dom.  Would he get this chance if he had a different last name?  Probably not but he is who he is, and that just led to Use and Use trashing him into the barricade.  Say what you want about Dom but he’s more man than me.  I will give him that.

Cole just said that they are sold out at the Dickie’s Arena.  I won’t lie, I chuckled when he said that.  “What are you wearing?”  “Dickies!”  I would just say pants.

Use and Use have been working over Dom.  Dad just tagged in.  He is en Fuego.  I just saw a fan with an “Acknowledge Me” shirt on cheering for Rey.  Hmm, he is a bit confused I guess.

Jimmy just gave Rey a Vodka Gimlet for a two.  I mean a Samoan Drop.  I don’t know why I was confused.

Dom dragged Jimmy out and Rey got a two on Jey.  Rey went for the 619.  Jimmy jumped up and took it for his brother.  Jey nailed Rey with kick but Rey kicked out at two.  The crowd is chanting it’s awesome and it’s good stuff, hence why I am blogging so much for a pre-game match.  The finish came when Jimmy rolled up Rey and Jey came in from the apron and used his feet to help keep Rey down.  New champions.  I could make a point about rewarding bad behavior that embarrasses the company with a Title win, but I won’t.  Ah, who am I kidding, I just did!

We are opening with the Women’s Money In The Bank match.

Alexa Bliss is out first.  Liv is out next.  She has on a top that puts eyes on her boobs.  And as my daughter just said, “the top has chains dangling from them”.  Yep.  Alexa is being all Addams Family, staring at whoever comes out.  Here comes Natalya, then her partner Tamina.  Alexa got as much time as the first three did.  Zelina Vega is out next to a big pop.  She is sweating a Statue of Liberty type of crown.  Represent NYC!  Then Naomi.  Asuka was out next and Cole said she is the odds on favorite.  That means she won’t win.  Oh and Cole and Pat are calling this so I guess the Raw team gets the men’s match.

And, we’re off.  Climb the ladder and get the case, that’s the way it goes.  All of the women have hit the floor except Alexa.  She’s just being all Alexa and the fans popped.  Alexa went to use her powers to make the case come to her and Asuka dumped her on her back.  And now we are off.  Alexa jumped on Tamina’s back and got a big pop.  Alexa is a babyface to these fans.

They are giving Liv some hope spots early.  We are in the part of the match when everyone works together to do some spots before it heats up later.

Alexa came in and cleaned house and went up the ladder but Zelina went up first.  Alexa did a mind meld gimmick on her and made her walk down.  Natty stopped her, apparently the crazy doesn’t work on her.

Crowd popped big when Naomi had a chance to go up.  The faces are getting pops.  Naomi just dusted Nikki on a ladder and the fans were live for Naomi going up but Natty stopped her.

Natty climbed up with Vega on her back.  Natty got out but Vega grabbed it.  Liv stopped them both.

Now they are all in there and they set it up for Nikki to jump on all of them from a ladder outside into the ring.  They were lucky the women were there.  The ladder was a bit shaky on the floor.  Alexa stopped Nikki from going up.  She did her version of Abigail.  Up she went.  Natty stopped her.  Everyone covered Alexa under ladders and the crowd booed.  Liv ran in the ring and had a chance to go up but she took forever so Tamina stopped her.

Natty set up a second ladder for some reason.  The first one would have done.  That allowed Liv to take her out.  Ask and Vega brought in another ladder.  My son in law said, “Why wouldn’t the just climb the first ladder.”  Yet, it was to set up a contrived spot and now six women are fighting on the ladders.  Nikki came in behind them and grabbed the briefcase.   The crowd popped big.  They wanted her, Alexa or Naomi.  I totally get why they went with Nikki and I am fine with that.  But how we got there was pretty contrived.  After all, if Alexa has all of these powers, why wouldn’t she just blow the ladders off of herself?  They all worked really hard and the work was solid.  The booking was just, well, what they do.   

Use and Use are in the back with Roman.  They present him with the tag belts.  He said hold on to them for now.  He put over their achievements.  But, let’s not get that confused, what they did was the easy part.  He did the heavy lifting.  He said they wouldn’t here if it weren’t for him, especially you Jimmy.  Well yeah.  Now they give him what he wants.  They do. They acknowledged him.

Time for AJ Styles and Omos a Wrestler to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against The Viking Raiders.  Hey, they are the Raw announcers, in the house!  Big pop for Omos.  My son in law saw them come out and said he is going to take a shower.  Just as an FYI.  He will be back.  After this.

AJ tagged in Omos to start the match.  So, Erik tagged in Ivar.  Thankfully, he tagged out quickly and AJ went to work.  The crowd is loudly chanting for AJ. He was getting beaten up but then made a comeback.  The fans popped.

The story was even though Omos is huge, AJ stayed in the ring and took abuse form the challengers.  He made the tag to Omos.  He slammed Ivar.  It’s his house he said.  Time for a nerve hold on Ivar.  AJ called for a tag.  What a dummy.  Nah, he is just saving us from having to watch too much Omos, but that means he is selling a lot.  They just got a near fall on him.  Omos tagged in an did kind of a press slam on Ivar.  Thank God he kicked out at two.  He shouldn’t job to that move.  The Raiders got heat on Omos and he did his best to sell.  I don’t blame him, he’s green but huge so he gets a push.  Ivar had AJ pinned but Omos pushed Erik into his partner to break the attempt.  Omos went to catch Erik and slam him but kind of missed.  He did it again and got the pin.

Omos needs a lot of seasoning.  Like I said, I don’t blame him for being pushed but I won’t give him a pass either.  I get an El Gigante/Giant Gonzalez feel from him at this point.  But, the fans love AJ and popped for him so there’s that.
