I logged into The Cock at 7 for the pre-game show and they had an epic fail. About 20 minutes later, they fixed it. Wow, unreal that they have these problems. Here’s an idea, replace the “channel” that they have now with the actual linear Network. How hard can that be?
On the pre-show, after Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke got in the face of the tag champs, it led to a match with Natalya for Mandy. Natty won. Easily. Thanks for coming challengers!
The pre-show team just popped for the cage coming down. Down comes the Cell.Bianca Belair defending against Bayley starts us off.
Oh, and I won’t lie. I am doing three screens right now. If you know me, you know why.
Bayley brought in a chair but couldn’t use it. That didn’t stop her though and she took control early.
Other screens update: Trae Young is really, really good. I hope starting Robin Lehner wasn’t a mistake.
Bayley is working like the veteran, working over the young champ. That usually means the challenger loses. Bayley is bringing in the ring steps.
Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there.
Bayley is smartly using Bianca’s hair against her, tying it to the rope. But she charged and missed, going into the steps. Bianca is grinding her face into the cage. Bayley bit Bianca to break it up. This is good. People forget how great Bayley is. I don’t.
Bayley is wailed Bianca with a cane and then did a sweet running powerbomb on the floor, driving the champ into the cage. It’s all Bayley early. Then she went to do the cane set up spot that failed last time she was in the Cell. Guess what? It failed again. Put that on ice Bayley, Cole tried to warn you.
Bayley came back and went to work on her arm on a chair. Bianca is in total sell mode early. Bayley has been doing cool stuff with Bianca’s hair but it just backfired on Bayley. Bianca tied her hair to Bayley’s wrist. It’s a strap match now and Bianca is using it to her advantage.
Bayley is begging the ref to open the door and let her out. Uh, no. Bianca is laughing at the challenger now. But Bayley being Bayley, she is coming back and has a ladder now. She made Bianca the sandwich part but then hurt her knee trying to squash the champ. She got a two because it took so long to go for the pin. She is selling the knee.
Sixers up 3 at the end of one. Lots of game to go. Atlanta never quits. Their fans should love that team.
Bianca back in control. Using power moves. She hit a senton on the ladder and a Kiss of Death on the ladder. Bianca retains. Great match to start the show. I can’t wait to see how the fans react to the champ when they retain. Belair is a bad ass, for sure.
The match ended just in time for me to see Robin Lehner make a huge save. COME ON MAN!
Bianca said the Cell is brutal and Bayley kicked her butt. She will never forgive her for that.
They show Lashley in the back. He is with his ladies. Uh oh, is he focused? MVP said get in the zone.
Alexa said Lily is in a time out. Shayna brough the negativity on herself. Don’t blame her for what happens.
Rollins vs. Cesaro is next. Michael Cole said it’s been one sided. I hope that isn’t a tell.
Rollins attacked Cesaro from behind before the match and it’s on. Cesaro is in control early. So is Atlanta in Philly.
Seth came back and dominated for a while. Then Cesaro got back in control and punted Seth’s glove into the Dome. Seth came back and it enraged that Cesaro thinks he is better. Rollins is on his A game in the ring.
Cesaro came back with a swing-a-thon. Now he is punishing Seth but he caught Cesaro and rolled him, getting the pin. The match was great and the finish was kind of flukey, so if Cesaro beats him next time (and there should be a next time, he can get the defining win. Really good work from these two.
