WWE NXT REPORT: KAI VERSUS MARTINEZ, GRIMES HAS A MILLION DOLLAR EXPERIENCE, COLE AT A POOL, SO MANY GIFTS, A DROUGHT FOR STORM?, AND MORE

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Wade Barrett, Beth Phoenix, and Vic Joseph.

Match Number One:  Dakota Kai (with Raquel Gonzalez) versus Mercedes Martinez

They lock up and Kai with a wrist lock.  Martinez with a reversal into a side head lock and take down.  Kai with a head scissors and Martinez escapes and punches Kai.  Martinez with an uppercut and an ankle pick when Kai goes for a leap frog.  Martinez with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by clotheslines and a spinebuster for a near fall.  Kai with a DDT for a near fall.  Kai with a hard Irish whip and a running boot into the corner.  Kai gets a near fall.  Kai chokes Martinez in the corner.

Martinez with a punch but Kai with forearms to Martinez.  Martinez with punches but Kai with a uranage back breaker for a near fall.  Kai with a forearm to the back and then she applies an arm bar with her knee in Martinez' back.  Martinez gets a near fall.  Kai with a bicycle kick and she puts Martinez in the corner and misses the running boot into the corner.  Martinez with forearms from the apron while Kai is still stuck in the ropes.  Martinez with a waist lock but Kai with elbows to send Martinez to the mat.  Martinez with Splash Mountain into a Dominator and a near fall.  Martinez with a punch and forearm in the corner but Kai with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles when Martinez tries a second time.

Kai with a running boot into the corner and Martinez rolls to the floor.  Martinez returns to the ring and Kai with kicks to the midsection.  Kai with an arm bar and then she goes for a surfboard.  Kai kicks Martinez in the back and then applies a body scissors and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Martinez leans back and gets a near fall.  Kai with an axe kick to the back.  Martinez with a punch but Kai with a punch of her own.  Kai sends Martinez shoulder first into the turnbuckles a few times.

Kai with a snap mare and she gets a near fall.  Kai with an arm bar submission and she turns it into a short arm scissors.  Kai sends Martinez to the floor.  Martinez sends Kai back into the ring and Kai kicks Martinez as Mercedes returns to the ring.  Kai with a kick and a double knee face buster for a near fall.  Kai kicks Martinez.  Kai with forearms and Martinez with punches.  Kai with a head butt but Martinez with a rolling elbow.  Martinez with chops and forearms in the corner.  Martinez with a butterfly suplex and Martinez holds on and hits a second one.  Martinez with a delayed deadlift butterfly suplex.

Martinez with a divorce court.  Martinez goes to the floor and Raquel stands in front of Kai.  Raquel has some words for Martinez while Kai distracts the referee.  Martinez avoids Gonzalez and Martinez with a clothesline.  Martinez with a knee and Raquel with a boot to Martinez.

The referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Mercedes Martinez (by disqualification)

After the match, Raquel sends Martinez to the floor and Raquel kicks Martinez and connects with forearms to the back.  Raquel sends Martinez into the plexiglass.  Martinez is sent into the ring post by Gonzalez.  Gonzalez picks up Martinez and lawn darts her into the plexiglass.  

Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon are in the back and they are asked about the next few weeks.  Shotzi says they are not looking past the Robert Stone brand.  Ember says it will be the same thing with Candice and Indi but will they lose their Way? 

Someone shows up and gives Shotzi and Ember flowers.

Franky Monet shows up and reads the card on the flowers and it is from Dexter Lumis.  Ember and Shotzi try to give each other the flowers.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Cameron Grimes at a jewelry store.  He says he is looking for something for a special someone and he says it is for him.  He is here to buy the most expensive watch in the city.  The jeweler tells Mr. Grimes he has what he wants.

James Drake and Zack Gibson are in the ring and Drake says MSK are in a six man tag match in the main event.  MSK will compete in any sort of match except for the one that really matters.  To defend those titles straight up against the GYV.  Gibson says MSK are a great little tag team but personally, they are the biggest knobheads he knows.  The titles don't make the men, the men make the title.  They are the fire that will ignite the tag team division.  If that melts a few snowflakes, so be it.

Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher come out.

Ciampa says he hates to be the guy who interrupts but he sees a lot of similarities.  They are grizzled and veterans.  You talk about wanting to be the leaders of the tag team division but him and toothless Timmy know something about being leaders.  They want to be tag team champions.  The last time we were in the ring with you, you found a way to win.  Double T watched some film and he took some notes.

Thatcher says he finds a lot of strengths but there was this one show, NXT UK Takeover Cardiff.  How did that go?  Shoes off if you hate Gibson?  Ciampa takes off his shoe and he hits Gibson with it.  Thatcher sends Drake to Ciampa for a punch.

Killian Dain and Drake Maverick are in the back with McKenzie.  Drake asks how did the match come about against Imperium.  Killian says he asked for it.  Drake says he knows what is going to happen.  Drake says that you are going to attack me and join Imperium or you are not going to be there to take the tag.  

Xia Li is in Bohemian Rhapsody and she speaks in Chinese.

We go to commercial.

Isaiah Scott is in the studio and he tells Leon Ruff the first thing that came to mind when you attacked me was that you were a coward.  He says that Swerve is proud of you Leon.  I didn't think you had it in you.  Now that I know you do, it is obvious the ring cannot contain us.  I am suggesting a Falls Count Anywhere Match.  If you want to play this game, I will continue to play.  Now I am playing with your life.  

The match is official for next week.

Toni Storm tells Zoey Stark that you owe me a thank you.  At Takeover, I made you famous.  People only know who you are because of me.  When history is written, you will be a footnote in my legendary career.  My next chapter reads "Toni Storm ends Zoey Stark".  I hope you are watching because when I slap this rookie, I am going to imagine it is you.

Match Number Two:  Toni Storm versus Zayda Ramier

Storm with kicks to Zayda and she follows with a forearm.  Storm with a biel and a toss by the hair.  Toni with a sliding clothesline to Zayda against the ropes.  Toni with a back breaker and she stretches Zayda over her knee.  Toni pushes Zayda to the mat.  Storm iwith a kick in the corner.  Zayda with punches but Storm with a forearm.  Storm with an Irish whip but Zayda with an uppercut and kick.  Zayda with forearms but misses an enzuigiri and Storm with a German suplex.  Storm with a running back elbow into the corner followed by a running hip into the corner.  Storm sets for Storm Zero but pushes Zayda to the mat.  Storm puts Zayda on the turnbuckles for a Super Storm Zero and Zoey Stark comes to the ring.

Storm loses focus for a moment and Zayda with forearms to send Storm to the mat.  Zayda with a shooting star press for the three count.

Winner:  Zayda Ramier

Santos Escobar says no one gets one over on Santos Escobar.  Mendoza says that MSK got lucky at Takeover.  Those titles are in the wrong place.  Santos says tonight, in the main event, they make a statement.  Wilde says then they will get the tag titles.  Escobar says he will reclaim what is his, the Cruiserweight Championship.

Bronson Reed walks in the back and he sees Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae at the steps leading to Gorilla Position.

Austin asks Johnny and Candice what are they doing in the dark since he has his match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and LA Knight is with McKenzie.  He says everyone is talking about his victory over Dexter Lumis.  He mentions Indi Hartwell sitting in the front row.  He says he saw a twinkle in her eye that led to a tingle in her loin.  He says that when she is done with Dexter, she can come to him.

Ever Rise shows up and they have their coffee mugs and they ask McKenzie if she has any questions about their Saturday morning show and McKenzie has nothing.

Match Number Three:  Bronson Reed versus Austin Theory (with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell) in an If Reed Wins this Match, He Gets a North American Title Match against Johnny Gargano at a Future Date Match

They lock up and Reed with a clean break.  Austin with a clean break of his own.  Reed with a side head lock and he punches Theory in the top of the head.  Theory with forearms and a reversal.  Reed with a shoulder tackle and Theory rolls to the floor.  Theory with a kick and he goes for a flying shoulder tackle and he bounces off Reed and lands on the mat. Theory rolls to the apron and Reed with a running hip and Theory hangs from the ropes by his feet.  Reed with a running shoulder tackle to knock Theory to the floor.

Reed has some words for Gargano and Gargano has some words for Reed.  Candice yells at Reed and Indi doesn't care.  

Theory with a rolling drop kick and then he drops down and Reed goes over the top rope to the floor.  Theory has an injury and the referee checks on Austin while Gargano hits a super kick.  Theory with a pescado and then he kicks Reed on the floor.  Reed tries to Irish whip Theory into the ring steps but Theory stops short and then Reed charges and hits the ring steps when Theory moves.

We go to commercial.
