ICW No Holds Barred Volume 12: Farewell to the Pawn Shop

4/10/21 - 8pm

Tampa, FL - Streaming on IWTV.live

ICW has to roll with the punches and the Tampa weather. They wanted to run this show at the Pawn Shop in Port Richey but....well...you know. So we’re back to the 81 Bay Brewery for ICW’s 4th show of the weekend!

Match 1: Dan Maff vs. “No Flinch” Nolan Edward

Last time these two met, Edward got thrown out of the The Blood Shed window. Dan Maff is ready to see how the Dirty Orphan has grown since that time. They have an intense staredown in the center of the ring. Handshake of respect and Nolan is unloading forearms....Maff sends him into the chains. To the outside, Edward staggers Maff back with chops. Maff wants a powerbomb to the stage, Nolan with a PK and running lariat that sends Dan to the chairs. Nolan unloading jabs and chops but Maff is firing up, knocking the kid back, andchopping him up on the bar. Dan drags him up on the bar top and they trading stiff chops until Maff ejects him and skids No Flinch across the cement floor. Maff finds a good looking wall, hits a series of headbutts and press slams Nolan off the wall, leaving a Nolan shaped dent in it. O_O Nolan press slammed into the support beam. Maff gets the kid up for a powerbomb and he escapes but Dan chops him out of the air. Mafff brings him back for a ripcord lariat. Kick out! Another lariat, a burning hammer, a ripcord lariat, another burning hammer, none of it can finish Nolan Edward. Maff is in disbelief. Maff comes running, Nolan leapfrogs and Dan puts himself through a door. Nolan with a suicide headbutt! Kick out! Another suicide headbutt! A third one! Dan Maff stays down!!! Wow! Maff is in disbelief but they trade one more set of chops before shaking hands. Maff grabs the mic and puts Nolan over HUGE. Nolan is an orphan? ICW is his family....and the chains are his home. All emotion here.

Winner: Nolan Edward

Match 2: Bobby Beverly (w/ Eric Ryan) vs Orin Veidt

Well, what have we here? Gussets? A knife board? A saw board? Veidt bringing bundles of light tubes? Only the best implements to beat on a 44OH scumbag. Beverly tries to get rid of the deathmatch stuff but Veidt locks him up. They battle into the ringside area, Bobby throws Orin through a section of chairs. Seated bar fight punches and Bobby gets tossed. Bobby brings him back to the ring but Orin gets the arm with a gusset plate. Orin takes out the ankle with a chair. Bobby lays in some gusset work but Orin hammers one into his head. Orin gussets himself and they trade headbutts in their wounds. Bobby is a mess and he grabs the knife board. Orin with a side slam to the knife board, senton and carves up the forehead. Orin lays out the saw board. Orin gets tripped into the saws and Bobby hits him with a chair. Bobby sticks a saw into Orin’s mouth and blasts him in the face with a chair. Saito suplex but Orin kicks out! Bobby puts Orin through a door! Kick out! Orin battles back and get the pin after a cradle shock though the bundle of light tubes! Orin says this is just the first for Bev. Next time, he’s bringing ALL the glass. Welcome to the chains.

Winner: Orin Veidt

Match 3: TANK (w/ the Reverend) vs Neil Diamond Cutter

I’m seeing a spoon board, mousetraps, light tube cube, a gusset skateboard, barbed wire bats, carpet strip boards.....lots of f***ery here. The Reverend introduces the big man to the ICW faithful and predicts the future of Neil Diamond Cutter. Neil has his staple gun. NDC charges and dives into the mousetraps. TANK staggering him with rights. Tank smashes a gusset into his forehead. Tank stomps the gusset board into NDC’s hand. NDC takes a bottle cap bat to the jewels. NDC is crawling for safety and TANK cuts him up with a barbed wire bat. NDC swings the bat but he barely registers the damage. Tank powerbombs NDC to the spoon board and light tubes. Tank has a fork and stabbing in the top of the head. Neil gets the fork and stabbing him over and over. Tank is staggered, eats a headbutt and a fork to the forehead. NDC opens up the forehead and hits a step up senton with the skateboard. Neil can’t roll over Tank for the pin. Tank one arms spike him into a chairs. NDC on the carpet strips but dodges an incoming TANK. NDC backpacks with shots but TANK DVD’s him into the carpet strips. The Reverend is in the ring. NDC. Takes him out but TANK gets to hit feet and chokeslams Neil through the light tube cube. NEIL KICKS OUT. He hits a cutter to TANK. He covers him in carpet strips. Top platform splash to the strips and Tank is down for the three! The crowd LOVED Tank and gives him the “Please Come Back” treatment.

Winner: Neil Diamond Cutter

Match 4: Satu Jinn vs. Ruben Steel

Lot of water jugs on poles, light tube boards, gussets, doors, small tables, bats, chairs....all the toys. Satu is huuuuuuuuge.....he throws Steel through both doors. Satu has a gusset covered oar, Steel with the purple nurple and buried that into the back. Steel with bats akimbo and cracking Satu repeatedly, tacks flying everywhere. A table falls apart when Satu trips over it. Steel grinding a barbed wire bat into Jinn’s forehead but Satu has a sickle and carving into his scalp. Big scoop slam to a table. Satu choking out Ruben with a barbed wire kendo stick. Both guys a mess. Satu has a spike plate DEEP in his head and a gash in his hand. Both have water jugs, battering the brains, Ruben crumbles. Ruben reverses a chokeslam into a bulldog through door. Satu lands a uranage through a door with tacks and gusset bats to get the pin. This dude is GUSHING.

Winner: Satu Jinn

Match 5: Alex Ocean w/Riley Madison vs Damon Spriggle

Brandon Kirk was Ocean’s original opponent but maybe Planet Death was too much for the Kirks to handle? Damon going shot for shot with Ocean but he gets suplexed and thrown through a barbed wire board. Ocean beats him with the tack bats. Ocean hits a dive but Spriggle uses the chance to pull Madison by the hair. Ocean makes the save but opens himself up to bat shots and knees. Spriggle with a cookie sheet hit (more a taunt), he grinds the tack bat, Ocean hits a lariat. Spriggle tries a piledriver but Ocean downgrades the danger to a suplex and hits the light tubes. Ocean puts Damon through a table. Ocean pulls out the cinder blocks and light tubes, piledriver into ALL of that. OW. Ocean sets up the pane of glass and heads up to the top. BRANDON KIRK cuts him off and tosses him through the glass. Kasey Kirk takes out Riley and Spriggle makes the cover. Post-match, he grinds a cinder block into Ocean’s head. This will certainly continue....

Winner: Damon Spriggle

Match 6: Shane Mercer vs. SHLAK

SHLAK is so over with the ICW crowd. Mercer bouncing SHLAK off the barbed wire and carpet strip board. SHLAK hates that and starts putting the Iron Demon through any door his body will go through. Mercer muscles him onto a gusset board. Trading big suplexes between two powerful hosses. Trading slams. Very evenly matched tested back and forth, headbutts, slaps, chops, forearms. No one is willing to given an inch. SHLAK with a headbutt to Mercer’s chin and they both rag doll. IT’S A DOUBLE KO?!?!? The ref calls for the bell, the crowd is upset but we gotta keep the guys safe (as possible given the f***ery involved). We get a look at SHLAK who is bleeding buckets. Mercer gets the mic and says he hasn’t had a fight like that in forever and they should finish what they started as soon as possible. SHLAK says yes....but next time it’s a LIGHT TUBE PRISON MATCH. oh goddddddd.

Winner: No Contest.

Match 7: Atticus Cogar vs. Reed Bentley

Reed comes out and immediately hides next to the curtain.....Atticus Cogar’s music hits and Reed ambushes him and runs him into the support pole. Reed takes the bait, Cogar with a rollup with feet on the chains, kick out! Cogar swinging the carpet strips. Cogar carving Reed up with the barbed wire bat. Reed with a punch on the button and he pours a LOT of tacks to the mat....Cogar catches him with an air raid crash. Kick out! Barbed wire and carpet strip board set up, Regal plex to Cogar. He goes through this on the top of his head! Kick out. Reed with with Tiger Driller, Cogar almost steals the pin. Reed with another to a chair, Kick out! Battle to the upper platform....Cogar is in touble but Grey Iron runs in and helps push Reed off through the tube table. Cogar makes the easy pin. F*** OHIO.

Winner: Atticus Cogar

They remove the ring apron.....these maniacs are fighting on BARE RINGBOARDS. We have so many light tubes around the ring. 44OH has been all over this show, I can’t imagine they won’t interject here too. Danny Demanto hits the ring to announce the introduction of the ICW American Deathmatch Championship (a belt, he adds that was made 3 months ago and waiting for the right moment to debut...no stickers or tape on this one). This match will be for its inaugural champion!

Main Event: John Wayne Murdoch vs. Eric Ryan (for the ICW American Deathmatch Championship)

Murdoch gets people around the ring to pound the boards. ENERGY! Ryan with a front chin lock and it is WILD (and slightly hypnotic) to see the boards moving like this. Ryan wants to end it early but the Duke stays up with him and has a quick pin attempt of his own. Ryan grabs a box of light tubes, stomps it out and Murdoch takes his shirt off and begins to spread the broken glass around the boards. Murdoch with the takedown and a headlock to Ryan on the board. Murdoch carving the forehead. Ryan throws a box of forks into the ring and suplexes Murdoch into them. Murdoch introduces a box of steak knives and hits a neck breaker. They get the f*** out of there for a few and have a bar fight in the chairs and through the crowd, bleeding EVERYWHERE. They return to the ring and start head butting light tubes into each other. Firing up with punches, Murdoch with a vertical suplex to ALL THIS DEBRIS. Kick out. Suplex through a LED-lit Light tube bundle. Kick out! Ryan firing up with stomps, he throws the other tube bundle into Murdoch’s head. He tries a sharpshooter but Murdoch kicks off. Murdoch with a brain buster to the remnant of the bundle and Eric Ryan is finally down for the three count. HOLY S***. This was absolutely insane.

Winner (and first ICW American Deathmatch Champion): John Wayne Murdoch

Murdoch admits that everyday is “f*** ohio” but right now it’s “thank you Eric Ryan”.  This isn’t ICW’s secondary title....this is THE title. Shot fired. Murdoch thanks everyone for being warriors this week. He thanks Danny Demanto. Satu Jinn & Reed Bentley are first to the ring to congratulate. Brutally awesome match here.
