Super X Cup Tournament Opening Round: Ace Austin with Madman Fulton vs. Suicide
They face off with Suicide controlling Austin with a shoulderblock and an arm bar. Austin backed Suicide into a corner and gained control of his wrist. He tried to use his playing card to slice the webbing of Suicide's hand, but of course he has a gloved hand, so there's no effect. He kicked Austin and prevented an Irish Whip, locking on an Octopus. Suicide tied up Austin on the mat and nailed him with a series of chops against the ropes. He faked out Austin, who sailed through the ropes to the floor and attempted a dive, but Fulton ran interference.
Austin tried to attack Suicide from the side but was knocked back to the floor. Suicide nailed a flip dive to the floor off the apron. Austin came back to drill Suicide into the ring steps. He followed up with a series of boots to the head and tossed Suicide back in, mauling him. Austin stomped away at Suicide in the corner and charged but was nailed with a back elbow. They battled back and forth with strikes and punches until Austin was nailed with a big palm strike. Austin missed a springboard missile dropkick and was nailed with a shotgun dropkick that sent him hurtling backwards into the buckles. Suicide and Austin battled back and forth until Austin nailed a springboard kick to the head for another two count. Austin was frustrated he didn't get the pin and rained down with punches.
Austin tried to pull Suicide up for a suplex but Suicide grabbed the leg and elevated him into a face-first Electric Chair, then nailed a legdrop for a two count. Austin and Suicide battled on the apron outside. Austin was dumped back into the ring. Suicide ascended to the top but Fulton distracted him, setting up Austin drilling him. They battled on the top and back to the ring, Suicide nailed a brainbuster variation for a close two count.
Suicide prepared to finish off Austin but Fulton got on the apron. Distracted, Suicide was nailed with a kick to the head and drilled with The Fold for the pin.
Your winner, Ace Austin!
Good opener with Suicide looking strong early on in order to make Austin's victory mean more.
Super X Cup Tournament Opening Round: KC Navarro vs. Blake Christian
They locked up and Christian muscled Navarro into the corner but broke the clench clean. They locked up again and this time, the situation was reversed. Navarro broke free as well but showed some swagger. Navarro focused on the arm but Christian showed some nice athletic prowess in his reversals. Navarro snatched a side headlock, grinding away and taking him to the mat. They went into a series of reversals and faced off.rChristian and Navarro got a little more aggressive in their takedowns. Navarro was sent into the ropes and shoulderblocked down. Christian did a front handspring to avoid a move. Navarro was taken down with a low kick to the leg and rolled up. They had some really nice, fast paced action. Christian nailed a dropkick to the back for a two count. Navarro rolled to the floor and tripped and pulled Christian out when he looked to be setting up for a dive. Navarro nailed a big tope suicida to the floor and brought Christian back in for a two count.
Navarro drilled Christian with several hard shots in the corner, then nailed a snapmare and a double stomp across the chest. He dug his knee into Christian's back, trying to wear him down. Christian flipped away with a Donkey Kick and nailed an elbow as Navarro advanced. He nailed a dropkick off the ropes and then hit a sliding kick, sending Navarro to the outside. Christian hit a back senton to to the outside and scored a two count. Christian nailed a knee to the face and whipped Navarro in the face. Navarro caught Christian with a cool looking neckbreaker that saw Navarro come down atop for him for a two count.
Christian cut him off with a DVDR and a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Christian went to the top but was caught with a big right hand. Christian fought him off and nailed a top rope sunset flip powerbomb. Christian came off with a twisting splash and scored the pin.
Your winner, Blake Christian!
Another good bout with Navarro shining and then Christian having to work to beat him. Both very good additions to the roster should they move forward here.
Super X Cup Tournament Opening Round: Shawn Daivari vs. Cousin Jake
Daivari started out with some big strikes and punches. Jake shoved him away but Daivari doubled back and was right up against him again. Jake smashed him down with a leaping charge. He tossed Daivari to the floor. When Daivari returned, he was whipped hard into the buckles. Jake clotheslined him down and scored a two count. Daivari is showing some great intensity.
Daivari cut him off with a kick and a series of chops but had his charge sidestepped and was sent to the floor. Jake went for a dive but Daivari stepped out of the way. Jake went to the floor and nailed Daivari with a series of rights, bringing him around the ringside area. Jake placed Daivari on the apron and charged at him with a bodypress but Daivari moved and Jake smacked his throat on the ropes. Daivari immediately attacked, making the throat the focal point of his strategy. Daivari nailed a series of elbows and kicks to the back before dropkicking him in the back, scoring another two count.
Daivari grabbed a waistlock, trying to wear down Jake. Jake fought his way out with a series of elbows. He went to rebound off the ropes but Daivari snatched his hair and Jake crashed to the mat. Jake was sent to the floor and worked over. Daivari brought him back in the ring and clenched in a side chinlock. Jake tried to fight back and nailed a series of rights. They battled back and forth with Daivari gaining control with a series of chops in the corner. Jake tried to make a comeback but Daivari was all over him until finally Jake nailed a big clothesline.
Both men were down as the referee began counting then down. Jake came back and nailed a sit-down powerbomb for a close two count. Jake's comebacks were very good, especially since Daivari has really been all over him.
Daivari nailed a DDT for a close two count. Daivari went after the knee, elevating and smashed it to the mat before locking in a figure four leglock. Daivari was kicked off and almost nailed the referee. Daivari went after the knee but was caught with a sideslam as he was rebounding off the ropes for a three count.
Your winner, Cousin Jake!
A good, hard fought encounter. Daivari has always been underrated and this was a good showing for him. Jake is extremely underrated and showed a lot here as well. This was about two big guys slugging it out and this was fun and different from everything else in the first round so far.
Super X Cup Tournament Opening Round: Crazzy Steve vs. Tre Lamar
Lamar showed trepidations towards Steve's oddball behavior.
Steve caught him with a waistlock but Lamar was able to reverse. Steve licked him. REALLY? Lamar sold that he was scared was backed out of the ring. Lamar then got equally freaked out by Steve's mascot monkey.
He finally returned to the ring and nailed a Pele Kick to finally gain some momentum. Steve rolled to the floor with Lamar giving pursuit. He nailed a series of forearms and kicks before tossing Steve back into the ring. Lamar nailed a series of moves and controlled the ring, scoring several two counts.
Lamar drilled him with a right hand and followed up with a series of stomps. Lamar controlled his arm, trying to wear him down. Lamar nailed a big dropkick to the back of the head and scored another two count. Lamar went to the top. Steve avoided the move but Lamar landed on his feet. They battled in the corner. Lamar went for a Spanish Fly but Steve fought him off and nailed a Side Russian Legsweep off the buckles. They fought to their feet and battled back and forth with punches and kicks. Lamar nailed Steve but was caught with an uppercut and tied up in a submission. Lamar escaped and nailed a series of forearms.
Steve avoided a charge in the corner and hit a sunset flip into the ring. Lamar held on but was sent to the apron outside. He shoulderblocked Steve from the outside but missed a bodypress off the top. Steve nailed a leaping DDT off the buckles for the pin.

This was OK.
TNA Champion Moose was interviewed by Gia Miller. He said people tend to make stupid decisions when they are angry and that's what Willie Mack did when he asked for the I Quit match. Mack's stupidity makes him angry, so he's going to use this match to send a message to Rich Swann and everyone tuning in about what happens when you face an angry Moose. Mack said that he may be hoping and praying Moose may quit but he's looking past making Mack quit. He's looking forward to sending him to the hospital. He told Mack to relay a message to Swann.
