Corey, Rich, and Byron talk about the knee injury to Finn Balor and we see Finn having his leg worked on by the medical staff while Joe shows some concern.

Match Number Four: Apollo Crews versus Tyler Breeze

They lock up and they go into the corner. The referee calls for a break and Crews gives it. They lock up again and Crews backs Breeze into the ropes and Breeze with a side head lock after a break by Crews. Breeze tries for a shoulder tackle but he goes down. Crews with a drop kick and Breeze goes to the floor.

Crews goes to the floor and he takes Breeze down with a running shoulder tackle. Crews rolls Breeze back in and Breeze with a double sledge to the back when Crews enters. Breeze goes for a suplex but Crews counters and hits a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Breeze with a back elbow. Crews tries to float over but Breeze does not charge into the corner. Breeze goes for a rollup but Crews holds on to the ropes. Breeze kicks Crews in the head and sends Crews to the floor.

Breeze with a forearm to the back but Crews with a punch. Breeze avoids a slam attempt on the floor and Breeze sends Crews into the matrix board on the apron. Breeze rolls Crews back in and gets a near fall. Breeze with kicks to the lower back. Breeze with a hard Irish whip to Crews for a near fall. Breeze with a rear chin lock and he has his knee in Crews’ back.

Breeze with a knee and a lungblower for a near fall. Breeze goes up top but Crews stops him. Crews goes for the press slam but he cannot keep Breeze up and Breeze with a take down and he applies a Sharpshooter. Crews tries to fight through the pain and he pushes up and he gets to the ropes. Breeze takes his time releasing the hold. Breeze says something to the referee.

Crews with a flying clothesline but Crews holds his lower back. Breeze sends Crews into the turnbuckles and connects with forearms to the injured lower back. Breeze climbs the turnbuckles and punches Crews but Crews picks up Breeze but Breeze counters with a rana and he punches Crews. Breeze with more punches but Crews with a drop kick and Breeze bounces off the ropes and collapses to the mat.

Crews gets to his feet first while Breeze goes to the apron. Crews brings Breeze back in and Breeze back drops Crews to the apron. Crews with a shoulder and he flips in but Breeze with a super kick for a near fall. Breeze kicks Crews to the floor. Breeze with a springboard drop kick and then he goes up top. Breeze comes off with what appears to be a senton but Crews catches him and hits a power slam for a near fall.

Crews presses Breeze over his head and drops him to the mat but Breeze grabs the leg. Crews goes for the standing moonsault but he lands on Breeze’s knees and Breeze with an inside cradle for a near fall. Breeze with a running forearm into the corner and then he connects with a second one. He goes for a third one but Crews with a kick to Breeze and then he gets up Breeze for what appears to be a belly-to-back suplex and he turns it into a power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews

We see Hideo Itami and Funaki in the crowd.

We see Bayley in the back mentally preparing for the Iron Man Match later tonight.

We take another look at Finn Balor’s knee injury during the semi final match as the announcers continue to wonder if Balor is 100 percent for the finals.

We see highlights from the other semi final match that saw Rhyno and Baron Corbin advance against Chad Gable and Jason Jordan.

Match Number Five: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals Samoa Joe and Finn Balor versus Rhyno and Baron Corbin

Balor and Rhyno start things off and the announcers question whether Finn is smart to start. Rhyno thinks about the knee but Finn makes sure to keep Rhyno away. Finn with a rollup for a near fall. They have a Greco Roman knuckle lock and Rhyno pushes Finn. Finn pushes back and Rhyno tags in Corbin.

Baron goes for the leg but Finn avoids him but Finn appears to be limping. Corbin goes for the leg again and Finn avoids him. Corbin with a kick to the leg and Finn with a drop kick. Finn with a front face lock and Joe tags in. Joe with jabs as he backs Corbin into the corner. Joe with a snap mare and he chops Corbin in the back and then kicks Corbin and follows with a knee drop and he gets a near fall.

Joe with a forearm and jabs to Corbin. Joe with a head butt to Corbin. Corbin with a spinebuster for a near fall. Corbin punches Joe. Corbin gets a near fall. Rhyno tags in and he connects with a forearm to the back. Rhyno with a chop and he sends Joe into the turnbuckles. Rhyno with punches followed by an Irish whip and running shoulder into the corner.

Rhyno with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Rhyno with a rear chin lock. Rhyno punches Joe and chokes him in the ropes. Rhyno punches Joe and Corbin tags in. Corbin punches Joe. Corbin with a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Corbin kicks Joe in the chest and he goes to a front face lock. Corbin sends Joe into the turnbuckles and he connects with a series of clotheslines followed by a boot to the chest for a near fall.

Corbin punches Joe in the corner. Joe with an Irish whip and running back elbow and enzuigiri in the corner. Balor tags in and he hits a drop kick off Corbin’s back and he hits Slingblade followed by a running chop. Balor floats over and his knee buckles. Corbin with a boot but Finn with an enzuigiri. Rhyno trips Balor on the apron and Balor holds his injured knee.

Corbin pulls Balor to the ring post and wrings the leg into the ring post. Corbin does it a second time. Corbin with an elbow drop to the leg. Corbin with three total elbows and he kicks Balor in the hamstring. Corbin with a series of splashes into the corner. Balor with a boot but Corbin with a Bossman Slam for a near fall. Corbin kicks Balor in the knee.

Corbin with a boot and running forearm to the head. Balor with Slingblade and both men are down. Joe and Rhyno tag in and Joe with clotheslines and a reverse atomic drop and running boot and back senton. Rhyno with an Irish whip but Rhyno into an STJoe. Joe with an STO to Corbin and Rhyno takes advantage of Joe losing focus to hit a GORE but Balor breaks up the cover.

Balor with a satellite DDT and then he clotheslines Corbin over the top rope to the floor. Balor with a running kick to Corbin from the apron and Rhyno knocks Balor off the apron. Rhyno sets for a GORE but Joe with a kick to Rhyno and Joe puts Rhyno on the turnbuckles. Balor tags in and Joe with a musclebuster and Balor hits Coup de Grace for the three count.

Winners: Finn Balor and Samoa Joe

After the match, Dusty’s family joins Samoa Joe and Finn Balor in the ring to present the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Cup.

Cody Rhodes says that his hero died 36 years before Dusty on the same day. John Wayne said there are some things you cannot run from. We cannot run from that, but we can remember and we can respect. A very very wise individual once said that Dusty Rhodes was the ‘oak of NXT’. Cody says he referred to him as dad. For over four decades, you allowed him to beam into your homes. His creations to take hold in your heart. You made him part of your family.

Tonight, we are all Rhodes.
