WWE RAW REPORT: THE ORTON CHALLENGE SERIES ENDS . . . WITH FIREWORKS; DO THE WYATTS AND SHIELD TAKE THINGS TO THE NEXT LEVEL?; HAIL CESARO

By Richard Trionfo on 2014-02-17 23:00:05
We are in Denver, Colorado and your announcers are John ‘Alex English’ Layfield, Michael ‘Patrick Roy’ Cole, and Jerry ‘Larry Walker’ Lawler.

We start off with John Cena making his way to the ring and he has something to say.

John appreciates the cheers and boos before he mentions that they are in Denver. Energy is here because in six short days the WWE World Championship will be decided in the Elimination Chamber. It is a match that could end the career of a WWE Superstar. Nothing is gained without sacrifice. The winner of the match will punch their ticket to history because they will earn a title match against Batista at Wrestlemania.

John says that he has been on the Road to Wrestlemania many many many many many times. Some are riding with him and some wish that they could kick him out of the car. The most important thing is momentum. The only person who does not have momentum is Randy Orton.

Randy Orton has been beaten in the ring over the last few weeks by Daniel Bryan. Last week, he beat Randy. The odds prove that next week we will see a new WWE World Champion.

Antonio Cesaro comes out and he is joined by Zeb Colter. Zeb says that John is looking at the next WWE World Champion.

Antonio says that John is not the only one who beat Randy Orton last week. On Sunday, he will become the new WWE World Champion. Not only will he become the new face of WWE, he will become the new face of America.

John tells Antonio if he has something to say, say it to his face.

John congratulates Antonio for beating Orton on Smackdown. It does not mean that he has a winning streak, Randy has a losing streak. Antonio has to face Randy, Christian, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and himself in the Elimination Chamber.

Sheamus’ music plays and he has something to say to the fellas. He says that he has been in two Elimination Chamber matches. Sheamus says on Sunday, both of their faces are going to look funny when he kicks their teeth in. He will do it to Randy tonight.

Randy Orton comes out and he thanks the Authority for the opportunity to beat all of them on Sunday. Antonio is right that he underestimated him on Friday, but that won’t happen again. We know that John Cena cannot beat him when it counts. He has had some of his best matches with Christian, but he has beaten him every time. Tonight that Brogue Kick will not get anywhere close. There is a reason why the Authority has deemed him the face of the WWE.

Daniel Bryan’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

He says that everyone came out and did their talking, but the people are here to talk for him. Daniel says that everyone knows how important the Elimination Chamber match is because it leads to Wrestlemania (as he points at the sign).

No one will throw out other catchphrases on Sunday. They will be chanting one word in the arena on Sunday . . . YES.

Kane’s pyro goes off and he makes his way to the ring. He has been given the power by the Authority to rectify recent events and he is in charge tonight. We know that Randy Orton will be facing Sheamus, so in all fairness to the champion, the other four will be in action.
