Renee Young interviewed Paul Heyman, who cut her off. He is apologizing for what Brock Lesnar is about to do Big Show. Lesnar will be challenging the winner of Orton and Cena for the belt and Show is in the way. So he will have to be vicitimized.
Jerry Lawler put over that Steeler QB Ben Roethlisberger was there in the crowd. Given he is a Browns fan, that had to hurt.
They threw it up to the panel. Of the three, Michaels got the biggest pop. Michaels put over the work Bryan and Wyatt just did.
Show came out first. Brock second. Brock had no shirt on but did have a skull cap. He looked freakin' scary. Lesnar went right in and attacked Show before the bell. Heyman gave him a chair and he used it on Brock. The bell still hasn't rung. Lesnar kept working over Show with the chair and told the ref to ring the bell. He didn't. Show went to the floor to get his wits so Brock hit him with the chair some more. Heyman yelled ring the bell, as if to say if you don't we will keep beating him. Heyman went to give Brock another chair and the ref stopped him. The ref rang the bell as Brock got another chair. As he went to hit Brock, Show hit the KO Punch out of nowhere. It knocked Brock woozy but not out. This allowed Show to throw Lesnar around on the floor. ... Lesnar managed to come back and scooped up the Show, who he walked around with up in the air for a few minutes and then he hit the F5 for the pin. It was short but I enjoyed it for what it was. Lesnar went nuts and largely destroyed Show.
After the match, Brock walked around ringside with a chair in his hand. He went back into the ring, where Show was still laid out on his stomach. Lesnar then assaulted him some more with the chair. Show writhed in pain. Brock broke another chair in the process so he took a third one and kept beating Show with it. The ref tried to stop him and Brock pushed him down. The beatdown continued. Brock finally decided he had done enough and left. He is a monster. It went on too long though.
We had an ad for Jackson Hewett. In a month, that won't piss me off anymore. But for 45 bucks, it does.
In the back, The Shield said it will come down to those three at the end of the Rumble. At that point it will be every man for himself, but they will be a unit when it's over. They won't tell each other their numbers but believe in the Shield.
Renee is interviewing Randy Orton. He will beat John Cena tonight and after that he goes to the back of the line. Renee says there is a line too, Batista and Brock. Bray Wyatt is a contender now too. Orton says he is the face of the WWE and makes a point to run down Bray. He will make sure tonight that everyone knows he is the man, so I guess he is finally OK with having to defend his Title.
WrestleMania is 70 days away. And they showed us outside in Pittsburgh. It's cold and nasty. Not so much here in Vegas.
It is time for the WWE World Title match as Randy Orton defends against John Cena. Of course, the champion comes out first. Honestly, as long as Cena comes right in and attacks, after what Randy did to his dad, I will be OK with it. OK, Cena didn't run in and attack. Champ should have come out second. ... The crowd was mixed for Cena, but seemed like less boos than usual. Orton got mostly boos. But guess who got a great pop? DANIEL BRYAN, who the fans were chanting for right before the bell. Vince, come to your senses man, do a 180 and put that man in the Rumble and let him win! After a brief Let's Go Cena/Cena suck trade of, they chanted for Bryan again. Of course dickhead JBL says I guess they don't realize Bryan was in the opener and he lost. I wonder who fed him THAT line.
The crowd was the story early on and they kept up chanting for Bryan, as well as Randy Savage, JBL and others. Then they chanted boring. Like true pros, they kept working but a clear message was being sent to Vince McMahon. Then they went back to a Daniel Bryan chant. Oh yeah, while this was going on, Orton was in complete control. And kudos again to both guys for keeping their composure. ... Cena then came back and got a nearfall. He was in control for a short time but then Orton took control again. The fans kind of calmed down a bit but damn, their message was loud and it was clear, at least to me. ... Orton went in and Cena got the STF out of nowhere but Orton got to the ropes. The story is that Cena is hurting. ... After a ref bump, Cena put on the STF and Orton tapped. Cena let go right away, not realizing what happened. Hold it until they ring the bell you dope! Anyway, the doctor came out and as he was helping Robinson, Orton his Cena in the head with the belt. He only got a two count. The crowd just started a "This is awful" chant. No it's not, you went too far folks. Cena hit an AA, two count only. ... They chanted for something else and Orton no sold them like a pro. The announcers sold it like the crowd was trying to get into Orton's head. ... Out of nowhere Orton put the STF on Cena! His own move! He kicked out. Cena then did an RKO and got a two count of his own. ... Cena took Orton to the top and tried for an AA but Orton got out. Cena his a Tornado DDT from the second rope and then locked on the STF. Orton almost got the rope but Cena pull him back in the middle of the ring. The lights went out and the Wyatt music hit. When they came on, all three Wyatts were n the ring. Distracted, Cena got pinned by Orton. Cena's match with Bray at Mania was just set up. ... After the match Orton left through the crowd because, well, he did heel Bray earlier. And then, the Wyatts went to work on laying out Cena. It ended with Sister Abigail. Good pop for that from the fans. Then a big YES chant broke out. Vince doesn't have his hearing aids in so he missed it. ... The guys worked hard but just don't have much chemistry. It was a solid match but the fans made it really, really fun!
Renee interviewed the new tag champs. Their 37 years between reigns is the longest every. ... We had a Totinos pizza rolls commercial. ... Then Stephanie McMahon told us that her dream house is the Elimination Chamber. If only, you already have that. You could have saved your stock that you sold for your real dream house and made twice as much!
A bunch of guys who have no chance of winning the Rumble just did promos telling us why they will win it. News flash, you ain't winning! The Batista said exactly. Yeah, he is the one thing that is not like the others. Back to the panel. They asked the panel to pick again. They did it earlier, so lets see if they change. Hacksaw stayed with Dolph Ziggler. Shawn picks The Shield AND CM Punk. Flair picked Jack Daniels. No, he is staying with Batista.
