Papadon vs. Jorge Santi
Papadon spent a lot of time ripping on the fans and had a personal ring announcer as well. Papadon controlled Santi for a long time. Santi made a comeback but was cut off. Papadon went to the top for a flying headbutt but missed.
Santo makes a big comeback and nailed a spinebuster for a two count. Papadon nailed a jawjack elbow off the ropes. Papadon argued with the fans but was rolled up by Santi. Santo went to the top but missed a moonsault.
Papadon drilled Santi with a piledriver and scored the pin.
Your winner, Papadon.
ICW champion Homicide vs. mystery opponent
Prince Nana came out and gave a big promo about how Homicide is world traveled but so is his opponent. Homicide is great but his opponent is greater. Out came Mike Mondo.
They did an old school feeling out process early. Homicide had control, so Mondo went to the floor to try and kill the momentum.
When he returned, Mondo began working him over on the mat and focusing on Homicide's shoulder. Homicide made a comeback and threw an exploder suplex. He nailed a lariat for a two count.
They went back and forth until Homicide went for the gringo killer. Mondo got out of it and then Homicide ducked a clothesline and came back with a lariat and scored the pin.
Your winner and still ICW champion Homicide!
Immediately, Prince Nana, Matt Taven, Rhett Titus and Mondo attacked Homicide and worked him over. Da Hit Squad hit the ring for the save. Mack's arm was all taped up with ice from his earlier fall.
Homicide took the mic and challenged them to a six man tag at the next show on 11/8. Mack then took the mic and said that the three of them and Low Ki carried ICW on their backs to build it, but if they are going to team, he needs to see "The Mega-Powers" shake hands.
Homicide and Maff, who had a long standing personal issue that pretty much led to the end of Maff's run in ROH and him leaving the business for some time, then shook hands and hugged. All three embraced and raised each other's arms.
Well, I certainly never expected to see that, which in a lot of ways was truly hell freezing over.
ICW returns on 11/8 with Tommy Dreamer, Matt Hardy, Reby Sky, and Homicide & Da Hit Squad vs. Mike Mondo & Rhett Titus & Matt Taven at the Queensborough Elks Lodge in NYC.
