By Mike Johnson on 2013-05-04 23:00:00

Davey Richards vs. Paul London

London was wearing his old school tights, whih they said were the tights he wore the last time he worked here.

They had some nice back and forth wrestling early.  The story was whether London could hang with Richards since he had carefully picked his competition in recent years.

Richards showed some real aggression.  At one point, London was tossed to the floor and nailed a female photographer, who kept shooting.  London made a comeback after being worked over for some time and nailed a flip dive over the top to the floor.

London nailed a double stomp off the ropes on Richards .  He kicked off a Richards charge but was nailed with a kick and nailed with a German suple into a bridge for a two count.   Richards drilled London with right hands as as the crowd rallied him.

London drilled Richards with a series of suplexes and a Dragon suplex with a bridge for a two count.   They battled back and forth until Richards drilled him with a tombstone on the floor.   London went for a double stomp off the top but slipped on London's sweaty chest as he hit Paul, slamming into his head.  OUCH.

Richards maneuvered London to the top but London nailed a sunset flip powerbomb.  London went for the shooting star press but Richards pulled his knees up and scored the pin on London.

Your winner, Davey Richards!

Richards took the mic and said that when he's in the ring, he's all business and he's kind of an a**hole but this match was his honor and said that without Paul London, this company would not exist.  He asked the crowd to show some love for London.

London took the mic and said that he's been in the twilight zone for nine years and he snapped back into it tonight.  He said that Richards gave him an asswhipping and he sort of liked that.  He said the honor was all his.

Nice moment.

ROH champion Jay Briscoe vs. Adam Cole

They had a faceoff early and went back and forth with some nice wrestling.  Briscoe nailed a series of shots and stomps.  Cole was whipped hard into the corner but avoided a charge, sent Briscoe to the outside and hit a nice dive.

Cole tossed Briscoe back inside and hit a flying bodypress for a two count.   He cinched in a side chinlock.  Briscoe fired back with a series of elbows.   He drilled Cole to the mat and slammed Cole down.  He drilled an elbow for a two count.

Briscoe measured and drilled Cole in the corner and nailed a rebound elbow.   He chopped Cole hard but was caught with a charge in the corner.  Cole nailed a dropkick to the knee.  Cole began working over Briscoes' leg.

Briscoe made a comeback and worked over Cole with a series of rights.  Cole nailed him in the knee.  Cole went after him but Briscoe snapped him into the turnbuckles for a two.   Cole and Briscoe battled back and forth.  Cole drilled Briscoe with a DVDR onto his own knee.

Cole went for the figure four leglock.  He was fought off.  Briscoe went off the ropes but was superkicked by Cole.  Briscoe came back with the Falcon's Arrow for another two count.   Briscoe went for the Jay-Driller but Briscoe's knee gave way.  Cole nailed a neckbreaker but Briscoe kicked out at two.

They went to the outside, battling on the apron.   Cole charged him but was caught with a DVDR on the apron outside.   Big ROH chant.    Briscoe nailed a big boot to Cole's face, then snapped him backward with a nasty neckbreaker for a two count.

Cole came back with a figure four leglock and nearly pinned Briscoe with it.  They battled back and forth and ended up on the top.  Cole hit an awesome back superple, then hit several superkicks and The Florida Key for a two count.  Cole went back to the figure four.  Briscoe kicked him off.  Cole nailed heads with referee Todd Sinclair.

Steve Corino tried to get on the apron and give Cole a SCUM shirt.  Nigel McGuinness teased going to get help but instead attackedCorino and hit the Tower of London.  He dragged Corino out.

In the midst of this, Briscoe hit the Jay Driller on Cole for the win.

Your winner, Jay Briscoe.

Right after the win, my stream, which had been going in and out most of the night died.
