And then it was time for the Hall Of Fame segment. Good stuff. Everyone got a nice reaction and Donald Trump got booed. That is how it should have been. Then they announced WrestleMania XXX will be on 4/6/2014 in New Orleans. Lucky Mike Johnson.
They announced that the crowd was 80,676. That is impressive.
Here comes John Cena. That means Brodus Clay and company got screwed! Lots of boos for Cena. Â
The Rock came out next. Let's just say the peeps liked him better. Cena got introduced and the boos were audible. He has some fans, but a lot of folks aren't. The Rock on the other hand, could move to NJ and run for office. They are selling this like a fight, with a slow open. The fans are into it.
This one is real slow to start. In fact, just after I typed that at 10:28 the fans chanted boring. They are going a half hour. JR said on the pre-game show if it goes more than a half hour, he takes Cena.
This one has been really slow and just OK. They need to pick it up. They probably have a hot ending planned. Let's get busy and go to it.
The match was pretty much I do this spot, you try to top it. Cena won, of course. And they kept the music on until the crowd let their anger die down. Then, they had the men show and left The Rock in the ring. Vince probably saw that as a WrestleMania moment. I saw it as awkward and a bad to end the the show. The match was OK, but wasn't great or probably even good.
