Kurt Angle vs. Ken Anderson

Anderson came out wearing a shirt that read, "Pro Wrestling is Real...People are fake."  I'm going to market a shirt that reads, "Suspension of Disbelief."

Anderson and Angle faced off and locked up.  Angle kept Anderson on the mat a lot early.    Angle invited Anderson to try and put a headlock on him.  Anderson accepts the challenge and Angle shrugs him off.  He invites Anderson to do so again but Anderson kicked him in the gut.  Anderson went after Angle, who came back with a back suplex.  Angle put the boots to Anderson.  Angle whipped Anderson into the corner and backdropped him for a two count.  Angle nailed several suplexes.   Anderson went to the top/  Angle leaped up to suplex Anderson off but Anderson snapped it on the top rope.  He followed up with a flying armbar.  Angle began selling the armbar.

Anderson worked over Angle on the mat, using a keylock to roll him into a pinning situation.  Angle finally made his way to his feet.  He clotheslined Anderson down but grabbed at his hurt arm.  Angle caught Anderson with an overhead belly to belly suplex.  Anderson catches Angle with a kick to the head but can't seal the deal with the pin attempt.  Angle fails to hit an Angle slam.  Anderson uses the Fireman's carry into the roll through for a near fall.  Anderson went for the Mic Check but Angle fought him off and hit a series of German suplexes.

Angle pulled down the straps and nailed an Angleslam for a two count.    He locked in an anklelock but Anderson rolled out and kicked Angle towards the referee.  Angle stopped short of hitting the ref but Anderson nailed a lowblow.  He hit the Mic Check for a two count.  Anderson and Angle battled on top of the ropes.  Angle punched him off and nailed a top rope frog splash for a two count.  Angle charged Anderson with a clothesline but Anderson ducked and the referee ate it.  Anderson nailed the Angleslam on Kurt but there was no referee.

Anderson went to the floor and grabbed a chair from the second row.  He teased using the chair, then tossed it out.  He grabbed the medal Angle has been wearing of late.  Anderson wound up the punch with it but Angle ducked and hit a back suplex.  Anderson looked at the medal and the crowd, then began digging it into Anderson's head to bust him open.  Anderson was locked in the anklelock in the center of the ring and finally tapped.

Your winner, Kurt Angle!

After the match, Anderson called for the mic to be lowered.  He said, "As I said, people are fake.  You're not an American hero Kurt.  You're probably not a real gold medalist.  You are certainly not a real American.  I tried to have a straight up match with you tonight and you had to resort to cheap tactics to get the victory.  Now, while these people right here think you are going to go home tonight and rest your head on your pillow all easy, but I know and you know that the only thing you are going to be doing tonight is laying in bed, staring at the ceiling with one word in your head - Anderson....Anderson,,,,"  He kept repearing it as Angle stared at him.

Christy Hemme interviewed TNA champ AJ Styles.  She asked him how his strategy has been changed with Ric Flair's injuries.  Styles said that the strategy will be the same as it has been since Flair walked into his locker room.  Win at all costs.  Styles said he was going to get revenge for Ric Flair.  Styles promised he would be the one standing tall at the end of the night with his World title stylin' and profilin'.

Jeremy Borash interviewed Abyss.  Abyss said Styles should be confident since he's the World champ but when he is done with Styles, there's not going to be anything left of Styles.  Abyss was more confident and through in the Hogan catch phrase at the end.

TNA champ AJ Styles vs. Abyss

Ric Flair was wheeled out to the rance ramp.  Abyss attacked Styles during the introductions.  They went back and forth.  Abyss knocked Styles onto the entrance ramp and beat him in front of Flair.  Abyss teased chokeslamming Styles through the ramp but Styles lowblowed him.  Styles high-fived Flair, then strutted back to the ring, where Abyss caught him with a belly to belly suplex.  Styles took out Abyss' leg and began stomping on it.  Abyss went to the floor, where Styles hit a running forward dive to the floor.

Styles grabbed a chair at ringside and wedged it between the turnbuckles.  The referee tried to remove it, allowing Styles to choke Abyss against the ropes.  Styles kept working over Abyss, who began to fight back.  Styles continued to work on Abyss' leg in the corner.  Styles went for the springboard forearm but Abyss grabbed him by the throat.  Styles broke free but was hit with a back elbow and a backdrop.  Abyss nailed a sideslam on Styles for a two count.

Styles nails the Pele Kick on Abyss.  He charged Abyss in the corner but was sent up and over.  Styles came off the ropes with a springboard forearm.  Abyss kicked out.  Flair came towards the ring and sprayed something in the referee's eyes.  Styles grabbed the title belt and nailed Abyss with it.  The referee was dragged out.  Hulk Hogan came out with Earl Hebner.  He sent Chelsea to the back and then wheeled Flair to the back.

Styles hit a 450 springboard splash but Abyss kicked up and began Hulking up.  Styles kept working on Abyss who felt no pain.  Abyss chokeslammed Styles right through the ring.  The referee called for the bell.  Hogan gave Abyss the title belt, but Earl Hebner took it away.  Flair returned complaining but Abyss pulled him into the ring.    Chelsea went to use the spray Flair used on the ref but Hogan got it and sprayed Flair.  Flair flopped around.  Desmond Wolfe hit the ring but was sprayed as well.  Wolfe took a bump into the hole in the ring.  Flair was deposited down it as well.

Hogan and Abyss celebrated.

I'm guessing it's no contest.
