They followed Cena backstage, where Charlie Haas and Miss Jackie congratulated him on his win. Cena stopped to briefly flirt with Jackie. As Cena walked off, Haas started to flirt with her, when Kurt Angle wheeled in. Angle started berating Haas for hanging around with Cena and not concentrating on wrestling. Angle told Haas that he will have to face his new protégé, Luther Reigns, next.
Sable was in a hot tub, interviewing the "biggest star" on Smackdown, herself. She basically said that she is hotter than Torrie Wilson.
Charlie Haas, with Miss Jackie, vs. Luther Reigns, with Kurt Angle. Jackie was decked out in red, white and blue. Haas grabbed a waistlock early and ducked punches while trying to take Luther's leg out from under him. Luther hit a knee to the midsection and worked over Haas in a corner with punches, but Haas grabbed a rollup for two. Charlie ran into a Luther elbow, and Reigns followed with a big boot to the face. Reigns rammed Haas into the corner twice, then whipped him hard into the opposite corner. Luther hit a side backbreaker for a two count, and choked Haas across the middle rope. Haas slid under Luther's legs and hit a pair of dropkicks, but Luther tossed Haas over the top rope and to the floor. Luther rammed Haas back first into the apron, then tossed him back into the ring and applied a rear chinlock. Haas elbowed up, but Luther knocked him down with a forearm. He whipped Haas into a corner, then hit a press slam for a two count. Luther applied a single leg crab, while driving a knee into Haas' back.
Haas tried to reach the ropes, but Luther pulled him back into the center of the ring. Haas turned over and kicked Luther off. Haas floated over a slam attempt and rolled up Luther for two, but Luther hit a clothesline for a two count of his own. Luther missed a charge in the corner, and Haas hit an Exploder suplex. Haas grabbed a Oklahoma roll for a two count. Haas hit a German suplex with a bridge for a two count, but missed a charge and slammed his shoulder into the ringpost. Luther hit the Roll Of The Dice/Last Rites neckbreaker for the win at the seven minute mark. Winner: Luther Reigns.
