Your announcers are Corey Graves and Joe Tessitore.
We take a look back at the last week of WWE coverage.
Rusev confronts Dom in the back to distract LA Knight from his entrance. Knight doesn't care and he walks some more.
Your Smackdown champion, Cody Rhodes, makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks Evansville what do they want to talk about. Cody says we could talk about this (the Crown Jewel ring). He says as much as he loves the ring, there are nine other digits so he would love to win some more. He mentions his opponent, but before he can mention his name . . .
Seth Rollins' music plays and he makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Seth enters the ring alone while the others watch from the floor.
Cody looks over his shoulder because he does not stand with his back to the announce table, where Seth's associates are not standing.
Seth says from the moment they both walked out of SummerSlam as champions, he had Crown Jewel circled on his calendar. They have jumped through some hoops to get here but here they are. Two of the best in the world at their prime, one on one. May the best man win. Seth says it should be that simple, but it is not that simple. Seth says it is you and him and it is deeper than that and it is bigger than that. Seth says he is good at reading people and he knows what the people think of him. He says he knows what the locker room and internet think about him. He knows what the people watching at home think of him and he doesn't give a damn.
They don't know what is good for them and how to make good decisions. The crowd chants for Punk and Seth says it isn't about him because he doesn't have a championship. He says he knows what that moron thinks of him. Seth says he wants the truth from Cody. What do you think of him?
Cody finally circles around to face Bron, Bronson, and Paul.
Cody says it's complicated. It shouldn't be complicated. You have made some questionable choices. One of them is standing right there, and Cody says hello to Mr. Heyman. Cody says Seth changed his life. He came back at Wrestlemania and you had the courage to face an opponent you didn't know. After Hell in a Cell, you had him at his lowest after dealing with his injury. At Wrestlemania, you were his shield to help him get this title into his family.
It shouldn't be complicated. He says he had Seth's wife on his podcast. He says he could run Seth down before Crown Jewel. Cody asks Seth what does he think of himself. On any given night, Seth could be the absolute best. That Seth Rollins is not hiding behind these three goons. Cody says he will not sling mud with him. Cody says they know they have their match and they are both champions. Cody asks Seth what can he do for him now.
Seth says they need to talk about his watch. Seth says this is the watch you gave him at Wrestlemania 40. Seth says he hasn't worn it a single time since then . . . until tonight. Seth says he needs to know if this was a real gift or was this a token gesture? You are fantastic at saying the right things about him. Glowing praise is heaped on him when it suits Cody. In your next breath, you undermine everything he stands for. You stand in this ring and you go on interviews and says with a straight face that you are the right person to lead this industry into the future. You say you are QB1 and that you are the best for the job. What does that say about him?
You don't think he is good enough or as good as him.
They are not goons. They are more than a group of people. They are an idea of what the future of this industry looks like. It runs through him. He is the tip of the spear, not Cody. You can be the quarterback, but you will be his quarterback. If you don't agree with that, it doesn't matter. The truth will come out at Crown Jewel, by any means necessary. You will find out that he is the creator and the prime mover. This is not a two man show. Seth says he is the alpha.
Cody says there are a lot of questions for him and he has two questions for Seth. In the three matches they have had were one on one. Will Crown Jewel be the same way? How many of those three matches have you won?
Cody leaves the ring and Seth turns around to look at his 'are they goons'.
Bron and Bronson walk up to Cody.
Seth signals that this is not the time so they step aside and Paul holds them back for Cody to leave.
Jimmy tells Jey what happened on Saturday was trash. He says he went to Pearce for a match, but you already got a match against LA Knight. Jimmy says they have to sqaush their problem.
Jey says he hasn't had a chance to wipe the blood of his shoes. Jey says they would have won if LA Knight wasn't the referee. He says that Bron and Bronson would have taken care of Knight if Jimmy didn't team with him. Jey says they have a lot to handle. He says they will handle that when he bodies LA Knight.

At Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins will defeat Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship. This is very personal to Seth Rollins.
