9/15/25 Results from NJPW BATTLE LINE HOKKAIDO - Road to DESTRUCTION from Hokkaido, Japan:
1 - Noboribetsu Ranbo
This is a Royal Rumble–style match.
Zane Jay and Tatsuya Matsumoto start the match. Masatora Yasuda is out next. Katsuya Murashima is next. Shoma Kato is next. Tiger Mask is out next. Master Wato is next. YOH is out next. Don Fale is out next. Dick Togo and EVIL follow him to the ring. Fale eliminates Tiger Mask over the top rope. Fale eliminates YOH and Wato over the top. EVIL and Togo eliminate all the other young lions. Boltin Oleg is out next. Fale and Oleg battle in the ropes. EVIL and Togo eliminate both of them. Yuya Uemura comes out next. Shota Umino is the last one out. EVIL throws Uemura over the top rope and he lands on the apron. Togo hits Uemura with a chair and Uemura falls to the floor. Umino eliminates EVIL over the top rope. Umino is left with Togo. Umino applies an STF. Togo taps out.
Shota Umino is the winner.
After the match, Umino greeted the fans and children at ringside. He posed for photos with the children.
Shota Umino is now in super babyface mode again. Hopefully, he will be booked properly.
2 - Daiki Nagai and Shingo Takagi vs. David Finlay and Gabe Kidd
Finlay hit a Powerbomb on Nagai and got the pin.
3 - TAKA Michinoku, Taichi and Tomohiro Ishii vs. Taiji Ishimori, OSKAR and Yuto-Ice
OSKAR and Yuto hit K.O.D. on TAKA. Yuto pinned TAKA.
OSKAR and Yuto brawled with Taichi and Ishii after the match.
4 - Kosei Fujita, Robbie Eagles, Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr. vs. DOUKI, SHO, Yujiro Takahashi, SANADA and Ren Narita
Takahashi hit Jackson with his Pimp Stick. Narita hit Jackson with Hell's Guillotine.
Narita pinned Jackson.
5 - Two out of Three Falls Match: Ryusuke Taguchi, El Desperado and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Tomoaki Honma, Togi Makabe and Toru Yano
After attacking Tanahashi two days ago, Toru Yano came out with his heel persona with the rest of GBH (Great Bash Heel).
Yano pinned Taguchi after hitting an Onigaroshi.
GBH got the first fall.
Music played and the wild madman Takashi Iizuka came to the ring. He pushed his way through the crowd, who scattered trying to get away from Iizuka. Iizuka had some death matches with El Desperado and was a former GBH member. Iizuka went after Desperado in the crowd and choked him out with a chain.
Iizuka looked good at 59 years old.
Yano hit Desperado with a chair. Iizuka pulled out the Iron Finger and hit Desperado in the face.
GBH was disqualified.
Tanahashi’s team earned a fall, now tied 1-1.
Iizuka left the ring into the crowd.
Yano and Tanahashi exchanged blows in the ring. Honma and Makabe double-teamed Tanahashi on the floor. Yano took out weapons to attack Tanahashi. Yano took out scissors to cut Tanahashi's hair. Tanahashi hit a Dragon Screw and a Slingblade. Tanahashi went for a High Fly Flow, but Yano got the knees up. Yano with a small package. Two count. Yano hit an Onigaroshi. Two count. Tanahashi hit Twist and Shout on Yano. Tanahashi hit a High Fly Flow.
Tanahashi pinned Yano.
Hiroshi Tanahashi won the final battle against GBH.
Tanahashi thanked the crowd and he and Yano both addressed the crowd. Yano received another ambassador award, despite his heel character tonight. Tanahashi performed his air guitar one last time for the Hokkaido crowd.
