Zack Sabre Jr. (IWGP Champion) vs Nigel McGuinness w/Daniel Garcia
Walker Stewart joins commentary again.
They trade arms bars and roll through snap mares. Nigel gets a side headlock takeover and Zack kicks out of it. Zack gets a side headlock takeover and Nigel flips out. Zack gets a wristlock takedown. Nigel works out and Zack grabs a foot and goes back to the wristlock. They reverse repeatedly and Zack takes Nigel down again. They go back to reversals. Nigel flips Zack the bird and then takes down Zack.
Nigel traps the arm behind his back and then leans back to put pressure on the shoulder into a pin for two. Nigel kicks Zack’s arm and Zack snap’s Nigel’s. Zack takes down Nigel and jump twists Nigel’s neck. Zack twists Nigel's hand to put it flat on the mat for an arm stomp. Zack grabs an arm bar and Nigel backs into the corner for the break. Nigel whips Zack down and they retreat to corners. Nigel gets a combo attack in the corner. Nigel hits a spear in the corner and then a running uppercut. Nigel then gets a clothesline for two.
Nigel locks in the London Dungeon, and Zack gets to the ropes to break it. Nigel puts Zack on the top and tries for the Tower of London, but Zack lands on his feet and gets a juje gitame with a leg capture. The ref tells Daniel to quit pushing the rope toward Nigel. Nigel is able to escape and they trade uppercuts until Zack drops. Zack is up and fires back and Zack drops to a knee and they start firing more. Zack is bleeding from the nose. Zack has to rest on the ropes and then trips Nigel for two.
Nigel gets a back slide for two. They run into each other and Nigel ricochets off the ropes with a clothesline for two. Zack gets a rollup for two. Nigel whips Zack down and grabs an arm bar while pulling Zack onto Nigel’s knees. Nigel turns it into a triangle choke. Garcia is given another warning. Nigel snaps Zack’s finger as they break in the ropes.
Zack gets a hold into the ropes and breaks at four before he goes to the floor to get in Garcia’s face. Nigel is able to hit the Tower of London for two. They trade quick two counts and Zack is able to hold on to one of them for the pin and the win.

That was AWESOME. Loved every second of this match.
Daniel gives Nigel a hug and Tony Schiavone is in the ring and says this is the largest wrestling crowd in the O2, 18992 fans.
In the back, Thekla and Queen Aminata are STILL fighting. They fight out toward the ring and Aminata gets a headbutt. Julia Hart and Skye Blue come out and start to beat down Aminata. They hold Thekla for Aminata, but Jamie Hayter shows up for the save.
The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) (AEW Tag Team Champions) vs Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) vs FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) w/Stokley
Tony Schiavone joins commentary. MVP is NOT with the Hurt Syndicate. They say that the Hurt Syndicate may not play a part in the title win, but they said it was an eliminator match earlier in the week, so…?
Everyone brawls around the ring to start the match. Dax and Bandido get into the ring and throw hands. Bandido gets a tejaris and a back slide for two. Cash gets into the ring and as they go after Bandido, Bobby gets a blind tag and clotheslines them both down after they toss Bandido.
Bobby gets a one-armed stalling vertical suplex. Shelton is tagged in and Dax is able to lay in chops in the corner. They go back and forth and Shelton tosses Dax across the ring.
Dax tags in Bandido. And Bandido finally whips Shelton out of the ring and dives onto him. They return to the ring and Bobby tags in and gets a power slam for two, broken up by Cash. Bandido is tossed to the floor and Shelton works him over there. Bandido is tossed into the ring and Shelton rag dolls Bandido for two. Bobby is tagged in and he beats down Bandido in his corner. Bobby pops Brody off the apron and tags in Shelton.
Bandido is able to escape out the back of a lift and get a kick. Bandido goes for a tag with FTR and FTR jumps off the apron. Bobby tags back in and slams Bandido and does not follow up. Shelton is tagged in and Bandido is able to escape and get a tornado from the top and tag in Brody. Dax is also tagged in and Brody throws hands at both members of FTR who are in the ring.
Brody gets a power bomb on Dax for two. He then charges into FTR in the corner. Shelton stops Brody’s cannonball, but Brody tosses him into the corner and hits the cannonball on FTR. Bobby gets into the ring and goes face to face with Brody. They throw hands and then charge into each other. They fight in the corner and Bobby is able to get a choke slam on Brody, but pops right up and gets a lariat on Bobby. Brody clotheslines Bobby to the floor and it’s time for Shelton to take out everyone else in the match.
Shelton suplexes Brody and hangs on for a second. Brody and Cash get an inadvertent shatter machine on Shelton. Cash tries to dive onto the Hurt Syndicate and they catch him. Brody leaps onto all three. Cash and Bandido fight on the top and Bandido gets a backflip onto everyone while holding Dax. The Hurt Syndicate are the first to revolver and they toss Brody into the ring. Shelton gets a rising knee strike and Bobby gets a spear on Brody.
Men in New Japan tracksuits show up and start attacking the Hurt Syndicate people on the floor. Dax grabs a chair and Bandido kicks it into him. Dax nails Brody with the chair for two. An unneeded head shot. We see the attackers are Ricochet and the Gates of Anthony and Hurt Syndicate is not in the ring.
Brody is put on top by FTR, but Bandidio breaks up power and glory. Badido gets a frog splash for two on Dax and then covers again for the pin and the win.
Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Brodido
Kazuchika Okada (AEW Unified Champion) vs Swerve Strickland
Jim Ross joins commentary as does Don Callis.
They lock up and Okada forces them into the ropes. He breaks clean but Swerve fires at Okada and they throw hands in the middle of the ring. They run the ropes and Okada gets a shoulder tackle. Okada dodges a drop-kick, but Swerve gets a hip toss and then a drop-kick on Okada. The fight goes to the floor, and Swerve gets a kick from the apron. Swerve then does a backflip dive onto Okada. Swerve sells that his knee isn’t 100% and shakes it off.
Swerve rolls Okada into the ring. Swerve gets a pair of neck breakers. Swerve gets a back uppercut from the second turnbuckle. He slams Okada’s head into the top turnbuckle and then gets snake eyes on the same turnbuckle. Okada is able to catapult Swerve over the top to the floor and Swerve’s knee is tweaked again. Okada hits a sliding drop-kick onto Swerve on the floor.
They brawl on the floor and Swerve slams Okada on the apron. Swerve sets for a pile driver on the steel steps, but Okada reverses it into a DDT on the steps. RIGHT INTO THE CAMERAMAN. Okada rolls Swerve into the ring and whips Swerve into the turnbuckle. He does it again after a series of forearms. Okada then gets a shoulder breaker for two.
They trade blows and Okada’s is much stronger. Swerve starts to power up and they go back and forth. Okada stops it with a kick to the knee and swerve kicks back and gets a flatliner for two. Swerve gets a suplex and takes his time to follow up as he is recovering. Swerve gets a series of kicks in the corner and puts Okada on the top. They fight on the top, Swerve gets a suplex from the top, but he clutches his neck before covering for two.
Okada rolls to the floor and when Swerve misses a Swerve stomp, Okada gets a tombstone pile driver. Swerve is rolled into the ring and gets a scoop slam. Okada goes to the top for an elbow drop. Okada flips the bird, but Swerve fights out of the rainmaker setup. Okada drops Swerve and tries for a rainmaker and Swerve counters with a House Call.
Swerve maintains wrist control and gets a rainmaker of his own. He gets a second and a third before letting go. Swerve runs into Okada’s drop-kick, and Okada hits a second. Swerve gets a power slam and goes to the top for the stomp. Swerve takes too long to get the pin and only gets two. Okada rolls to the apron and Swerve goes to the top. Okada tries to grab him and they fight on the top. Swerve’s leg is tied up on the top and Okada hits a knee breaker on the top.
Swerve gets a whip down after Okada sets for a rainmaker. Okada gets a drop-kick and Swerve gets a running kick. Swerve misses the House Call and Okada gets the Rainmaker for the pin and the win.
Winner and still Unified Champion: Kazuchika Okada
Okada goes to work on Swerve’s knee after the bell, slamming a chair into it in the corner. Prince Nana runs to ringside with a lead pipe to run off Okada. Wardlow then shows up and attacks Nana. Security pulls him off and he fights them and takes them all out.
Wardlow then shakes hands with Don Callis.
Toni Storm (AEW Women’s Champion) vs Athena w/Billie Starkz
Tony Schiavone takes JR’s place for this match.
Athena misses a drop-kick and Toni is able to dodge other attacks before getting a drop-kick and a hip attack, and Athena rolls to the floor. Toni goes to the floor and when Billie tries to attack, Toni hits Storm Zero on Billie, but Athena hits a flying kick into the barricade. Toni is rolled into the ring and Athena starts working her over. She slams Toni into the mat face first for a one count. Athena slams Toni’s head into the top turnbuckle over and over and then drags her face on the middle ropes.
Athena gets back heel trip, but misses the senton. Athena charges into Toni in the corner and slams her head into the ring post over and over. Athena gets a series of knee lift strikes and poses after each time she knocks Toni down. Athena gets a series of blows on Toni in the ropes, but Toni gets a rollup for two. Athena gets a casadora running Toni’s head into the middle turnbuckle. Athena mocks Toni, but Toni gets a clothesline out of the corner into a fisherman’s suplex with a bridge for two.
Athena trips Toni and then gets a neckbreaker followed by a butterfly suplex. Athena goes to the top, but Toni dodges her leap and hits a power bomb for two. Toni goes for a crossface, but Athena goes into the ropes. Athena gets a back suplex on Toni. Athena charges at Toni, who gets a spinning DDT and a tiger driver for two. Both women are slow to get up. They trade blows in the middle of the ring. Toni chops Athena down and Athena gets a thrust kick. Athena gets a straight right hand for two.
Toni goes to the top and Starkz gets on the apron to yell at her, allowing Athena to get a kick. Athena hits a series of big moves for two counts and then locks on a submission. Toni gets a foot on the ropes for a break. Toni avoids an uppercut and gets a chicken wing, but Athena is able to shoot her out to the floor where she dives onto Toni. They fight on the steps and Toni slams Athena face into them. Toni rolls Athena into the ring and gets a headbutt. Toni hits Storm Zero for two.
Athena tries to roll to the floor, but Toni stops her and as Toni is holding Athena, Starkz pulls the ring skirt to free Athena. Athena snaps Toni’s head on the top rope. Starkz goes to hit Toni with a chair, but Mina Shirakawa grabs it and chases her to the back.
Athena gets grabbed into a small package for two, and they go back and forth with two sounds. Toni grabs Athena during the O Face and gets the TCM Chicken Wing and Athena has to tap out.

Hangman Adam Page (AEW Champion) vs MJF - Title can change hands on a DQ or a count out
MJF stalls to start the match. MJF finally shoves the ref out of the way and Page beats down MJF in the corner. MJF rolls to the floor and Page follows to continue the beating. Page finally rolls MJF into the ring and gets a back suplex. MJF rolls back to the floor. Page gets a running big boot to MJF on the floor. MJF pulls Page into the ring post and rolls him into the ring. MJF beats on Page’s head.
MJF rakes the eyes and then grabs a rear chinlock. Page free himself and MJF pulls him down by his hair. Page gets in a few blows and when Page grabs MJF’s leg, MJF pokes an eye. MJF gets a rollup for two. MJF gets a stuffed pile driver for two. MJF whips Page across the ring to the turnbuckles. Page reverses the second whip and takes too long to tallow up and MJF gets a back elbow when Page rushes in. He works over Page in the corner and then puts Page on top. MJF joins him there and bites Page. Page is able to turn the tables and then bites MJF after hitting MJF’s head with some…pelvic thrusts.
Page hits a leaping lariat and a series of clotheslines. He hits a fallaway slam. Page clotheslines MJF to the floor and goes to the top. Page gets a moonsault from the top to the floor on MJF. MJF rolls MJF into the ring and gets a pop-up power bomb for two. Page slowly sets for the Buckshot. MJF sees it and drops onto the ropes in front of Page. MJF then snaps Page’s arm on the ropes. MJF is knocked back and Page goes for the Buckshot, but MJF grabs Page’s arm for the Salt of the Earth arm bar. Page rolls through for a two count. Page gets a crossface and MJF rolls back for a two count.
MJF gets a rear chinlock and Page snaps him over. They fight in the ropes and MJF is able to get a cutter after snapping Page into the ring. MJF gets a DDT for two. MJF rolls to the floor and Page recovers. MJF grabs the timekeeper’s table and sets it up at ringside. MJF puts Page on the table. MJF goes to the top after pulling off the turnbuckle protector. Page meets MJF on the top and they fight on the apron. Page hits a moonsault into a pile driver on MJF.
Both men struggle to recover and answer the count. Page rolls MJF into the ring to break the count. Page moves the table closer to the ring. Page then gets a deadeye through the table. MJF is rolled into the ring and cover and MJF gets a foot on the ropes at two. Page lines up for the Buckshot and MJF sees it and rolls to the floor. Page charges at MJF on the floor and MJF gets a drop toe hold into a chair.
MJF rolls into the ring to break the count. He then runs Page into the steel steps. MJF then yells at Bryan and has to put money in the swear jar. Page is busted open and MJF tombstones Page into the broken table. MJF forces the ref into the ring and tells him to start counting. Page gets into the ring at 9.
MJF pulls off the turnbuckle pad and when he tries to run Page into it, Page reverses and runs MJF into it. Page slowly pulls himself to his feet and MJF is now busted open. They slowly walk to the middle of the ring and throw hands. They knock each other down with rolling elbow strikes at the same time.
They slowly work to their feet and Page tries for a pile driver and they reverse it back and forth until MJF makes it a rollup and they go back and forth with a series of two counts back and forth around the ring. Then one counts. Page gets a deadeye for two. Page is up first and tells MJF to get up. MJF pills out the Dynamite Diamond and tells him to hit him with it. Page puts it on and threatens to do so, but instead spits on him and tosses the ring away. Page sets for a Buckshot and MJF pulls the ref in the way.
MJF knocks Page into the ref and hits a low blow on Page. MJF hits the heat seeker on Page and covers. The ref slowly counts three, but Page’s foot is on the rope and the ref is out.
Mark Briscoe comes down to the ring and security tries to stop him. Briscoe tries to fight his way through and MJF watches as they drag him to the back. Page and the Ref are still down, and the Ref wakes up to see the foot on the rope. The ref and MJF argue about it. As the ref and Page struggle, MJF gets a low blow mule kick and then a roll up for two.
MJF shoves the belt into the ring and as the ref is getting rid of it he hits Page with the contract case and covers for two. MJF pulls the Dynamite Diamond from his trunks, but the ref sees it and as the ref is getting rid of it, Page uses the contract case on MJF. Page gets the buckshot for the pin and the win.
