We take a look back at the cash in at SummerSlam and the World Title Match from last week's Raw.
Michael mentions that Naomi is not medically cleared to compete tonight so her match against Iyo Sky is off for tonight.
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk says they make it real hard for him to stay angry but he should be World Champion right now. He should be here representing this company and you people as champion. Punk says he is a little angry. He says he has a Seth Rollins problem. Seth can't see what is in front of his face. He is trying to be CM Punk and he fails miserably. Punk asks the people if they watched SummerSlam. He says he climbed back to the top of the mountain after twelve years. He says he let you down because he is not champion. He was relentless and obsessed before, but after holding the title, he is more possessed to regain the title.
Punk says he does not hate the game because he has cashed in. He hates the player. You followed in his footsteps to be like him and you faked an injury to get your chance. Punk says he will get the title back from Seth and Seth won't have to pretend to be injured because he will break Seth's legs.
LA Knight interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.
Knight gets in Punk's face and he offers his hand. Punk shakes it.
Punk asks Knight if he has something to say.
Knight says he has something to say and he wants to talk to ya. He says everyone knows that Punk was robbed at SummerSlam. You rose to the moment and beat Gunther to become the World Champion. Knight says Punk deserves to have his rematch.
Punk says YEAH and Knight reYEAHs.
Knight says last week, he was having his match and it had nothing to do with Punk. You come down and you can't contain yourself and you have to attack Seth and get him disqualified. He understands but wrong place, wrong time. Knight says they don't have a problem and he would like to keep it that way. He says if Punk wants Seth Rollins, do it, but do it on your time. Do it after the bell rings. You deserve and should get your rematch. Knight says Punk gets it after him.
Punk says he sees Knight's perspective but the words he meant was thank you Mr. Punk for helping to save his career. Punk says he is a former champion and he says he is the number one contender. You can get to the back of the line.
Knight says he does not want to say thanks to Punk. You have been a world champion. It was long overdue. Knight says he hasn't been there yet so he is more overdue. There are levels, but Knight says Punk isn't on his level. Knight says he is going to do Punk two favors. He says he will forget about last week as long as Punk doesn't do it again. He will go beat Seth Rollins and become World Champion. Knight says Punk can be his first title defense.
Punk says Knight is going to do him a favor? To ensure that there is no bad blood and no problem. Punk says he is the best in the world.
Paul Heyman interrupts and Punk says he is not done.
Bron Breakker and the Foot Locker join Paul as he shows his knowledge of the French language. Paul wants to do whatever it takes to get in and out of this province.
Paul says he wants subtitles for the crowd if they are going to chant. Paul tells Knight to take it from him and not get into the favor business with CM Punk. You start trading favors with that man, it will cost you everything in life. It will cost you your self respect, your position in WWE, half of your career, and so much more.
Punk says someone is getting punched in the face and he invites Bron and Bronson to come on down.
Paul says he taught Punk well and that is a hell of an idea. Let's do it tonight. CM Punk and LA Knight versus Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Punk tells Knight no but Knight says they weren't out here for those goofs.
Punk says if you want a fight, you have it.
Knight says Punk does not talk for him but he accepts the match.
Paul walks to the back and Bron walks to the ring and Bronson stops him.
Bron says you are 47 and you are 40.
We take a look at Dominik Mysterio versus Dragon Lee and Los Many Grande Americanos.
Finn tells Raquel and Roxanne they did great. Finn wants to know what is going on with Naomi and the women's title.
Dom shows up with Un Grande Americano and Dom says they are here to talk strategy.
Finn wants to talk to Dom, in private.
Finn says the group doesn't want him around.
Dom says he is the King of the Luchadors and he will use him for the match on Saturday.
Finn says Grande can help him win the Mega Title.
Match Number One: AJ Styles and Dragon Lee versus El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio
Lee with a suicide dive to Grane and AJ kicks Dom.
Dom is sent back into the ring and AJ with chops and shoulders. AJ with a back breaker and he tags in Lee. Lee goes up top for a double sledge. Lee works on the shoulder. Dom slides to the floor on an Irish whip. Grande tags in and he kicks Lee and Irish whips him. Grande and Lee exchange chops. Grande with an Irish whip and he misses a splash. Lee is sent to the apron and Lee with a punch and kick into the turnbuckle. Lee with a cross body for a near fall. AJ tags in and they hit a double back elbow and a pair of kicks. Lee is passed Dom by AJ and Lee hits a power bomb. Dom rolls to the floor. AJ blocks a kick and he punches and chops Grande. AJ with a forearm but Grande rakes the eyes and head butts AJ. Grande punches and kicks AJ. Grande poses over AJ.
Grande with a back body drop to AJ and he gets a near fall. Grande punches and chokes AJ. AJ with an Irish whip and Grande with snake eyes. Dom tags in and kicks AJ and then he poses. AJ with a shoulder from the apron and AJ with a sunset flip but Dom blocks it and he punches AJ. Dom with a reverse chin lock. AJ with a kick and a Pele Kick to Dom. Lee and Grande tag in. Lee with a head scissors take down and a clothesline. Grande goes for a sunset flip but Lee blocks it and hits a double stomp. Lee with a kick into the corner followed by a leg sweep and a slingshot hesitation kick. Lee with a running forearm. Dom interferes and Lee punches him. Grande with a kick and then Dom sends Lee into the ring steps.
Grande ties Lee's mask in the turnbuckle. He punches Lee while the referee unties Lee. Dom puts a mask on and he tags in and punches Lee. Dom with cross faces to Lee and a reverse chin lock. Lee with punches and Dom puts Lee on the turnbuckles. Dom goes up top and Dom hits a hesitation drop kick. Dom with boots to the back and an arm bar. Grande tags in and kicks Lee. Dom knocks AJ off the apron and the referee has to hold AJ back. Grande kicks Lee and he rips the mask. Grande with punches to Lee. Grande sends Lee into the turnbuckles but Lee with chops. Grande with a punch. Grande with a rear chin lock and he sends Lee into the turnbuckles.
Lee is put on the turnbuckles. Grande with punches on the turnbuckles and a chop. Grande goes for a rana but Lee crotches Grande and hits a double stomp. Dom pulls AJ off the apron and AJ chases after Dom and he checks him into the ringside barrier. Lee with a German suplex and a thrust kick. AJ gets back to the corner. Lee kicks Grande away and AJ tags in and he connects with strikes and a clothesline. AJ with a sliding forearm and a clothesline into the corner. AJ with an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Lee with a thrust kick to Dom. Lee is sent into the turnbuckles by AJ and he monkey flips Dom into a Styles Clash. Lee goes up top but Grande pushes Lee off the turnbuckles. Grande with a kick and AJ with a reverse DDT for a near fall.
Grande escapes a Styles Clash and then he drops AJ on the top rope. Grande goes into his gear for the metal piece but AJ kicks it out of Grande's hands. Dom uses it in his mask. AJ with an O'Connor Roll but Dom with a head butt from the apron on the kick out and Grande gets the three count.
Winners: Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano
We see Adam Pearce with Sami and Sami asks about a title match. Sami says he wants a chance.
Adam says he cannot make any promises. He says after tonight, they can talk.
Sheamus shows up and Pearce says whatever happened with you and Rusev cannot happen again.
Sheamus wants to know who will stop him.
Sami asks Sheamus not to get involved in his match against Rusev tonight.
Sheamus tells Sami he has his word, but when the match is over that Bulgarian bastard is his.
