Jordynne paces in Ava's office and Ava says she wants to talk about Heatwave. She says Jordynne will face Blake at Heatwave. Ava says that Blake deserves to get her ass kicked.
Oba Femi makes his way to the ring.
Oba says Inamura and Briggs brought everything to try to take the title from him but they failed. He says he has held this title for more than 200 days. Who is going to step up? Who is going challenge and face the Ruler? Oba says no one is because NXT is supposed to be the brand built for the future. He says the future is not looking very bright because he has beaten them all and he has destroyed them all.
Trick Williams makes his way to the ring. He tells Oba and he says he ain't delusional but everyone knows that he is the biggest dog NXT has to offer, let's talk about it.
Oba says Trick sings his praises every time, so he asks if Trick is trying to them or himself?
Trick says he is trying to convince Oba. He says he is the man carrying two brands, let's talk about it.
Oba wants to talk about it. Oba says he has the title while Trick says he carries two brands. You could never beat him.
Trick says he thought about it and he looked Oba in the eyes. He thought to himself, why not him. Why can't he be the man to carry two brands. He isn't the same man you saw two months ago. You keep looking around for the man to take you off that mountain and he says look no further because he is the man.
Je'Von Evans comes out and he tells Trick he is goofy as hell. He says Trick is annoying. Evans says he is trying to go after the biggest dog in the yard, while you try to make it all about yourself. You can barely defend the TNA championship.
Trick tells Evans to mind his business while grown folk talkin.
Oba tells them they can sort this out.
Evans says him and Trick should fight and the winner faces Oba for the title.
Oba likes the match for tonight but Trick says no. He won't do it in front of these fans. He wants it in two weeks in Philadelphia.
Moose makes his way to the ring.
He tells Trick he is going to snap him back to reality. In ten days, at Emergence, you have a date with the face of the Franchise. When he takes the TNA title off your waist, the one name synonymous with whooping that trick will be Moose.
Moose tells Oba he didn't forget about Road Block.
The lights go out and Dark State attacks all four men in the ring but they are sent to the floor because they are facing better talent.
Security comes out to stop them and we go to commercial.
We are back and Channing is in the back and Arianna Grace stops by to say hello and see how he is doing.
Channing says Inamura will pay for that.
Lash and NIa continue to brawl in the area.
Wren says there is more Wren/Charles Quality Time. Charlie says he trained Myles and Tavion too well. Wren starts to sing Joe Hendry's music and Charlie says he won't appear.
Little did Charlie know that Joe could fit into a refrigerator.
Charlie wants to know why Joe is here.
Joe says he has something just for him. He gives Charlie some clothing. Charlie says that Joe is a virus and he is an infection.
Joe says why not have a wrestling match next week and Wren says the sour puss accepts.

Match Number Five: Yoshiki Inamura versus Channing Lorenzo
Channing attacks Inamura from behind and punches him before the referee starts the match. Inamura with a chop and Channing with a kick and a flying knee for a near fall. Channing with elbows and a nerve hold. Inamura powers out of the hold and Inamura with punches. Channing with a side head lock. Inamura with forearms to the back and he goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Channing is able to twist his hips to get a lateral press. Channing with a forearm and punches. Channing goes up top and he mocks Inamura's frog splash but Inamura press slams Channing. Inamura with a shoulder tackle and chops. Inamura with strikes and a kick. Inamura with chops and punches. Inamura chops Channing over the top rope to the floor. Channing runs Inamura into the apron. Inamura slaps Channing.
Arianna yells at Inamura and she slaps Inamura.
Josh Briggs with a boot to Inamura while Grace argues with the referee and Channing gets the three count.

Ethan Page walks in the back.
We are back and Ethan Page is in the ring and he says it is the 70th day as the Greatest North American Champion of all time. He says last week was the Canadian Standard of Excellence. Even with that vile reptilian sock, Santino was not able to get the job done. A positive note. He is still Canadian so he is still better than all of you. He is just Canadian, not the greatest North American. You have great Canadians like Alexander Graham Bell, Wayne Gretzky, and Bret Hart, but at the top Ethan Page.
Ethan says before he chooses which continent he will devour next, he wants to sing the Canadian National Anthem.
Ethan is interrupted by Tavion Heights.
He says no one came to hear a Canadian goose dying. You are repping your country and he can respect that He can relate. He represented Team USA at the Olympics. You are out here like you are on a pedestal, but you need to be knocked off that maple leaf sucking perch. It is time to break out in NXT and he says he is a weapon in human form. He has to figure out where to focus his energy and that is Ethan.
Ethan says no. He says Tavion crawled out of NQCC. He tells him to learn how to walk and run before you dance with All Ego.
Tavion says Ethan has another thing coming.
Chelsea Green makes her way to the ring.
Chelsea says how dare you interrupt the greatest to hold the North American Title. He says Ethan fought off a moose and the moose apologized. The greatest American heroes come from Canada. Ethan is the second most important Canadian behind her. She says she came out here to support her countryman and she was going to join Ethan until you rude American interrupted.
Chelsea says it would be a good thing to says she has her Secret Hervice, but Tavion wouldn't have the balls to hit a woman.
Tavion punches Ethan and he says he will find a woman to do it.
Kelani and Lola talk about Kelani's win.
Jacy and Fallon show up to talk about her count out win. That isn't going to get her a title match.
Jazmyn shows up with the cleaned title belts. Nyx says how dare you step up to Jacy and her side kick. She says she talked to Ava and got them a tag match and she says she will tell Ava she found their opponents.
Zaria says she will take care of everyone while Sol deals with Tatum.
Nia and Lash continue to fight in the back and Ava shows up.
She says iff you want to fight so much, it happens next week.
We go to commercial.
Oba, Trick, Moose, and Je'Von are in the back and Ava shows up and wants to know why they are here.
Ava says Trick and Je'Von have their number one contender match.
Evans wants to know why they have to wait two weeks.
Ava says they have an eight man tag match next week.
Hank and Tank want Dark State and Ava tells them they can face two members of Dark State for the tag titles at Heatwave.
Kelly Kincaid interviewed Ricky Saints. She asks about Jasper Troy and if he has a target on his back.
Ricky says he had a target on his back when he came in and he earned it. It is about jealousy. Ethan is jealous of who he is and what he has done. Jasper wants to get where he is. He says there are different agendas.
He says Ethan understands NXT is where he needs to be to where he wants to go. He has a plan and he will do anything to get there because he is desperate.

It is a paradox because you cannot prepare for. Ricky says everyone is trying to be on Monday or Friday and he will get there, but he has to be the NXT Champion. He has to beat Jasper Troy. Jasper beat him the last time. In two weeks, he promises that if you thought Houston was easy for you, the results will not be the same.
Next week, Lash Legend faces Nia Jax. Dark State faces Moose, Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Oba Femi. Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne will face Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan.
In two weeks, Je'Von Evans faces Trick Williams in a Number One Contender Match. Ricky Saints faces Jasper Troy.
Match Number Six: Tatum Paxley (with Shawn Spears, Izzi Dame, and Niko Vance) versus Sol Ruca (with Zaria) for the Women's NXT North American Championship
They lock up and go around the ring. Sol takes Tatum to the mat. Tatum avoids an elbow in the corner and Tatum with a cross body into th comer. Tatum with a punch for a near fall. Sol kicks Tatum but Tatum gets a mount position and she elevates Sol. Sol gets a near fall and she punches Tatum. Sol goes for a surfboard and she gets Tatum up and sends her face first to the mat. Sol with a drop kick. Sol is sent to the apron and Sol with a slingshot X Factor. Sol goes to the turnbuckles but Spears distracts Sol and Zaria stops the interference. Sol with a moonsault onto Spears and Niko. Tatum kicks Sol when she gets back into the ring and Tatum with a neck breaker. Tatum with forearms and kicks. Tatum sends Sol into the turnbuckles and she chokes Sol. Tatum tries to send Sol into the turnbuckles but Sol reverses and Sol gets a near fall. Tatum with an enzuigiri and she gets a near fall. Tatum with a forearm to the back.and a reverse chin lock.
Sol with a snap mare to escape but Tatum with a drop toe hold to send Sol throat first into the ropes and Tatum gets a near fall. Tatum with an Irish whip and a shot to the throat. Sol with punches but Tatum with a kick. Tatum with an Irish whip and forearm in the corner. Tatum chokes Sol. Sol with an Irish whip but Tatum with a front face lock. Sol tries to get Tatum up but Tatum with a DDT for a near fall. Tatum with head butts to Solo. Tatum with a cravate and she stretches Sol. Tatum with a front face lock and Sol with punches. Sol avoids a hesitation DDT with a cartwheel to land on her feet. SOl with a thrust kick and another kick. Sol with a flying shoulder tackle and a trip and a thrust kick. Sol with a neck breaker. Sol with a running back elbow into the corner followed by a backpack slam. Sol with a knee that sends Tatum to the apron . Sol pushes Tatum to the floor and Tatum with an enzuigiri using the apron.
Tatum with a slingshot neck breaker for a near fall. Tatum with forearms and she puts Sol on the turnbuckles. Tatum with chops and a slap. Tatum sets for a superplex but Sol blocks it and she hits a sunset flip power bomb. Sol goes for a spear in the corner but misses and hits the ring post. Tatum gets a near fall. Tatum goes for the Psycho trap but Sol counters and gets a near fall. Sol goes to the turnbuckles and she flips over Tatum and hits a shoulder in the corner. Sol with a kick and she goes to the apron and she slips on the top rope and falls to the floor. Sol gets back up top and Tatum with a head butt and a twisting neck breaker off the turnbuckles.
Spears keeps Izzi from using the doll and . . .
Lash and NIa fight into the arena and they take care of security. Lash with a shoulder tackle through the ringside barrier.
Sol with a Sol Snatcher for the three count.
Winner: Sol Ruca (retains championship)
