MLW President Cesar Duran came out with Salina de la Renta. He introduced New Japan Pro Wrestling Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi and Tiger Hatori. He said that it was a pleasure they were with MLW tonight. He praised each of them and said they represent why NJPW is the golden standard. He praised them and NJPW's growing relationship with MLW. They presented them with a plaque. He said this is more than a partnership. It is a celebration of the bright future they will all have together.
Bobby Fish vs. Satoshi Kojima
They locked up with Fish backing Kojima into the corner. Fish scored with some kicks to the back and nailed a suplex for a two count. Fish nailed several kicks to the body in the corner and snapmared Kojima into the ring. Fish dropped an elbow for a two count. Fish nailed several right hands in the corner. He missed a charge, allowing Kojima to nail a series of rapid-fire chops.
Kojima nailed several forearms and a DDT. Fish came back with a back suplex. He worked over Kojima until a kick was caught and he was snapped with Dragon Screw. Kojima set up for a lariat but Fish caught him and nailed an exploder. Fish attacked the leg and locked in a sleeper. Kojima backed him into the corner to break it but Fish jumped back onto him. Kojima dropped backwards to break the hold again.
They battled to their feet. Fish fired away with forearms and kicks to the chest. Kojima battled back with shots. Kojima absorbed a series of kicks and nailed a brainbuster for a two count. Kojima nailed a lariat and scored the pin.

This was fine but you got the feeling based on the crowd that this was the first match where they weren't really engaged compared to the rest of the show thus far.
Kojima took the mic and was pleased so many fans threw bread in the ring for him. He told the fans don't try this at home and ate a piece. That was funny.
