Match Number Two: JD McDonagh versus AJ Styles
They lock up and JD with a clean break. He misses a clothesline and AJ with a side head lock take down. AJ with a side head lock and JD with a side head lock of his own. JD with a shoulder tackle but AJ trips JD and applies a side head lock. AJ with a sunset flip for a near fall. JD gets a near fall. AJ with another rollup for a near fall. AJ with an arm drag and JD with a head scissors. JD bridges out of a cover and he goes for a back slide but AJ rolls through. JD with a kick and he backs AJ into the corner. JD with kicks and he chokes AJ before posing on the turnbuckles. JD with a chop. AJ blocks a hip toss and AJ goes for a Calf Crusher and locks it in. AJ rolls JD into the center of the ring. Dom tries to help JD but the referee warns him.
JD goes to the floor and Dom backs off. AJ follows Dom around the ring and JD with a clothesline over the ringside barrier. JD gets back into the ring and AJ barely beats the count. JD with a forearm to the back and he follows with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. JD sends AJ into the turnbuckles. JD with a chop. JD with an Irish whip and AJ hits the turnbuckles sternum first. JD chokes AJ in the ropes. AJ with chops to JD. JD with a drop toe hold and a leg drop for a near fall. JD kicks AJ and stands on AJ's hair and stretches him. AJ kicks JD and then connects with a series of strikes and clothesline. AJ with a sliding clothesline and he hits an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. JD escapes a Styles Clash attempt and connects with a head butt. JD with a brainbuster for a near fall.
JD puts AJ on the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex but AJ with head butts to send JD to the mat. AJ stays on the turnbuckles and Dom gets on the apron to distract AJ. JD with a kick to AJ and he goes for Devil Inside but AJ with a snap mare and Styles Clash for the three count.
Winner: AJ Styles
After the match, Dom tries to attack AJ but AJ with a Pele Kick. AJ with a forearm to Dom and Finn pulls Dom to the floor to safety.
AJ sees that the title belt is still in the ring so he holds on to it for a moment.
Finn and Dom get on the apron and AJ is able to remember that a ring has four sides so there is a way to avoid three men.
Sheamus is in the back and he stops Maxxine, Natalya, and Tozawa. He asks about Otis. Nattie tells Rusev to take care of Rusev. Tozawa tells him to kick his ass.
Bayley walks in the back and she stops to watch Grayson Waller and Austin Theory argue while The New Day stand there.
Cathy is with Pena in the Ludwig Kaiser concourse interview stage.
She asks about what happened two weeks ago.
He says it does not matter how many of you there are. Do you think you can push him around? He says he fears no one. One by one, I will destroy you.
Bayley makes her way to the ring.
Bayley says it feels so amazing to be back and she says she misses you so much. Bayley says you don't know what you have until it's gone. Every time she steps into this ring, she knows what she has. She knows what it feels like to step in this ring. She does not take the chants or songs for granted. She revels in being in front of you. She says she was born to do it. This is what is most important to her. This is what she puts her heart and soul into every single night. Two months ago, she was stripped of an opportunity. She was robbed of a Wrestlemania match. She was robbed of an opportunity to go after the tag titles.
Luckily, she doesn't come in here just for one night. She doesn't do it for the big moments or the championships. She does it for nights like tonight for people like you. Bayley tells Becky Lynch if you think you taking her out for Wrestlemania hurt her or broke her. It made her better. It made her stronger. She says she may have said in the past how much it bothers her that Becky has been a chip on her shoulder and she couldn't get there. It ate at her, but she says she is climbing that ladder and she is going to knock her down and take everything that Becky took from her.
She tells Becky to make her way to the ring.
Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring in Bears gear.
Becky says she has always been on Bayley's shoulder. She says they are the same. They weren't supposed to be on top but she won't accept being second fiddle. You would always rather have your group of fans instead of your legacy. Becky says she would rather have her legacy.
Bayley says she has built a legacy and she is a future Hall of Famer. She says she has no problem helping people.
Becky says she used to fight for the people but they didn't care so she stopped fighting for them. The people stopped fighting for you too. You want the proof? No one gave a damn about you at Wrestlemania when she came out. The people cheered for her.
Bayley says Becky sounds like an idiot and she is insecure. You care so much about what the people think. You had to take her out because you didn't know if the people would cheer for you or boo you. You had to be a secret. Then you couldn't hack it and you had to take out Lyra. Bayley asks Becky if she remembers what it is like to fight for everything or is your head too far up your ass that you don't know what it is like any more.
Becky asks Bayley if she knows what gold feels like.
Bayley asks Becky to remind her. She asks Becky to step to her. Remind her what gold feels like.
Becky says Bayley can have a match, but not here. Not for the title. She says she will see her in Columbus.
Becky slaps Bayley and Bayley punches Becky.
Becky goes up the aisle
Cathy is in LOCKER ROOM with Jey Uso.
She asks him about tonight's match. Jey says it is very important. He won his first title from Gunther. He got his respect. He got his title back. He has Gunther's respect. He says he will get the title back after Gunther is done worrying about Seth and Goldberg.
AJ Styles gives the title belt back to Nick and he will give it to Dom. Nick tells AJ that he will face Dominik Mysterio at Night of Champions.
Nick tells Bayley the match is official. Nick says that Bayley is owed a title match. Next week, Bayley faces Becky for the IC title.
Lyra welcomes Bayley back and says congratulations, but does she mean it? Bayley apologizes for not getting back to Lyra. She says it wasn't personal. Lyra says that Bayley is doing what's best for her and if Bayley wins, she will do what's best for her.
Match Number Three: Kairi Sane versus Liv Morgan
Sane with a take down after blocking a kick and Liv goes to the floor and holds her shoulder.
The doctor checks on Liv as we see footage of Liv holding on to her right arm.
Liv is taken to the back.
Winner: Kairi Sane (medical disqualification)
We take a look at the John Cena and CM Punk match for Night of Champions with a video package.
Friday night, John Cena faces R Truth in a non-title match.
Michael Cole says Liv suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Cathy is with Sami Zayn.
She asks Sami about his match on Friday against Randy Orton.
Sami says he feels like he has talked about the World Title so much and now the opportunity is here. He has had some chances to challenge for the title and it feels different this time.
Karrion Kross shows up and he says that Sami is insane because he does the same thing every day expecting a different result. You are going to face one of the most diabolical people, Randy Orton. Then you are going to lose. Randy is going to become a fifteen time champion while you stay at zero.
Sami asks Kross if he thinks he is crazy. He tells Kross he thinks he is a coward. You hide in the shadows and talk in riddles. If you go out there, maybe you can't back it up. Sami says he has gone out there and lost and he has gone back out there. Sami says he is done listening to Kross talk. The second I am done with King of the Ring, I am going to Adam Pearce and we are going to have that match.
Kross tells Sami it is about time.
Jey Uso is in CONCOURSE and he Yeets his way to the ring.
