Oba says Myles came out alone and he does not know if that makes him stupid or brave. That is confidence. That is why you have made it this far. You are the number one contender for the NXT Championship. It is his understanding that this match is not just a fight for the title, it is a fight for everyone you are going to inspire who has struggled like you. Oba says that is admirable, but also misleading. Life is cruel. Good things don't always happen to good people. You are a good person. This is not a Disney movie. You don't get the happy ending or the dream come true. You don't get to run into the sunset with his title. The dream was winning the Battle Royal and beating Ethan Page. When you walk into the ring with him, the dream will die. Oba says he will be merciless and relentless. He says you him to treat him like everyone else. You will be destroyed at the hands of Oba Femi.
Myles says he might be out here by himself, but he is not alone. Tavion and Charlie are training with. He has every kid who feels different and every parent who is afraid their child won't fit in. It is about more than winning a title, it is about making a statement. He tells Oba to underestimate him. You wouldn't be the first. Everyone has underestimated him, even coaches at the NXT Tryout. He has proven them wrong. This is the biggest match of his career but he has been surviving. This isn't a Disney movie, but every ruler falls. He might be hard of hearing, but when he shocks the world, they will hear the one-two-three loud and clear.
Myles goes to the back and . . .
Jasper Troy comes from the crowd and attacks Oba Femi.
Myles returns to the ring and Jasper leaves the ring.
Myles offers his hand to Oba and Oba slaps it away.
Myles picks up the title belt and he hands it to Oba.
We get the obligatory face to face pose with the title belt held high.
Ava yells at Saints and Page. Saints wants it to end. Page is fine with it happening tonight.
Saints says if it isn't tonight, he will destroy him.
Page says he is not giving him a match because he is having fun destroying him.
Saints says he can put the title on the line and Page likes that idea.
Ava tells them they don't make matches, she does. Sean Legacy has a claim for the title but the way you pissed her off, you have a match next week and the title is on the line.
We are back with Tony D'Angelo in RESTAURANT. He says the worst thing about betrayal is that it never comes from enemies, but from family. He says he tried. He tried to understand why you did this to him and the family. He says he is not a coward. He thought they were the same. He brought him into NXT. They ran the family and came to power. You were the under boss but that wasn't good enough. You wanted the glory and to be the shot caller. Tony says he gets it. You don't get it. You only see what Tony allowed you to see. You worried about yourself and it was easy. You will never sit in the big chair. You have guts but no brains. Sunday there is no betrayal and no bailout. There is just him breaking your face.
Match Number Four: Lola Vice versus Fallon Henley
They lock up and they go to the mat. Fallon backs Lola into the corner and Fallon sends Lola's head into the turnbuckles and follows with a forearm. Lola with a wrist lock and kicks to the midsection. Fallon blocks a kick and she takes Lola to the mat. Lola with a drop toe hold and Jacy makes smarmy comments to Fallon. Lola with a take down and Fallon with a front face lock. Lola with an arm bar. Fallon with a double thrust to Lola. Fallon with a side head lock and take down. Lola with an arm bar and side head lock. Lola with a shoulder tackle and Lola blocks a hip toss. Fallon blocks a hip toss and Lola counters to try for a cross arm breaker. Fallon gets to the ropes.
Fallon kicks Lola and connects with a punch. Lola with a head scissors take down and a kick to send Fallon to the apron. Fallon drops Lola on the top rope and she sends Lola to the floor. Fallon uses the ring post to swing into a kick. Fallon sends Lola into the apron. Lola with a back heel kick and Fallon with a forearm. Fallon with a kick to the leg. Lola with a double leg take down. Fallon with a back heel kick. Fallon kicks Lola in the corner and chokes her. Fallon with a flying clothesline and she gets a near fall. Fallon gets another near fall. Fallon chokes Lola in the ropes. Fallon with punches to Lola and a rear chin lock. Lola with a snap mare and Fallon gets a near fall with a rollup. Fallon with a forearm. Fallon with a forearm to the back of the head. Fallon with a rear chin lock. Fallon with a cravate and knees to Lola.
Lola with a back slide but Fallon rolls through. Fallon misses a round kick and Lola with a rollup for a near fall. Lola with kicks to Fallon. Fallon with a knee to the midsection. Fallon with a forearm. Fallon with a waist lock and she drops Lola to the mat and Fallon with a forearm for a near fall. Lola kicks Fallon away and Fallon with a back heel kick. Lola blocks a suplex and counters with a rollup. Lola and Fallon with clotheslines at the same time and both go down. Fallon with a forearm and Lola fires back. They continue the exchange. Lola with kicks to the midsection. Lola with speedball kicks and she sets for the Shakira hip and connects. Lola with an axe kick for a near fall. Fallon with a back elbow and Lola misses a kick in the corner.
Lola with a kick and a back heel kick. Fallon takes Lola down by the hair. Fallon with a double jump blockbuster for a near fall. Fallon with an Irish whip and Lola with a knee and a rolls through into a cross arm breaker but Fallon locks the hands. Fallon gets a near fall when Jacy gets on the apron. Lola with a punch and Jacy gets on the apron. Fallon collides with Jacy and Lola with a back fist for the three count.
Winner: Lola Vice
After the match, Fallon and Jacy yell at each other.
Stephanie Vaquer was with Kelly Kincaid to talk about her match against Jordynne Grace.
She is asked what has prepared her for this match.
Stephanie says you have to make sacrifices. She was not ready for her first tryout so she went to Japan and Mexico to hone her craft. She sweated, bled, and fought. She says it was necessary to get here.
She is asked if she is the best in the division.
Stephanie says it is a dream come true to be in WWE. She says she knew she was born to be a WWE Superstar when she saw Rey Mysterio. It has all been worth it.
She is asked about Jordynne Grace and the challenges she presents.
Jordynne wants to be at the top of NXT. To become the best, she has gone through hell. Stephanie says she made that hell her home. Stephanie says she has conquered continents. When you get close to hell, you will burn in flames.
We are back with Dark State.
They say they have put the fear of Dark State in the locker room and it is due to one man who led them and it is Dion Lennox. Dion says knowing your last move is your last means something. You pray that you survive. Cutler James says they are on a permanent seek and destroy mission. Osiris Griffin says there is a wild card and when you come from nothing, you have nothing to lose. Some call him lucky, but he is undeniable. Saquon asks who is next and you will find out that when they strike, no one is safe.
Match Number Five: Kelani Jordan versus Zaria in an If Kelani wins, she gets a title match on Sunday but if she loses . . . Match
Zaria with a German suplex and a second one. Zaria runs Jordan into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Zaria with a biel. Zaria misses a shoulder and goes into the ring post and then to the floor. Jordan with a pescado and she sends Zaria into the ring steps. Jordan goes up and hits a cross body for a near fall. Jordna with a head scissors take down Zara rolls through on a cross body and gets Jordan up on her shoulders. Jordan with a sleeper and Zaria backs Jordan into the turnbuckles to escape. Jordan sends Zaria to the apron and hits a face buster. Jordan misses a springboard move in the ropes. Jordan kicks Zaria off the apron and then goes for a rana off the apron but Zaria catches Jordan and swings her into the ringside barrier. Zaria runs Jordan into the apron and htis a back drop driver onto the apron.
Zaria gets a near fall. Zaria with a rear chin lock. Jordan with elbows and Zaria with a gutbuster. Zaria slams Jordan's head into the mat and tosses her around. Zaria gets Jordan on her shoulders for a back breaker and she drops down for a near fall. Zaria with many Irish whips to Jordan. Zaria goes to the turnbuckles and she picks up Jordan in a rear chin lock. Zaria works on Jordan's back. Zaria with a camel clutch. Zaria with an Irish whip but she runs into an elbow. Jordan with forearms. Zaria with a knee to the midsection. Zaria goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Jordan escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Jordan goes for a sunset flip but Zaria blocks it and she does not go over. Jordan with a drop kick to the knee followed by a DDT.
Zaria with a forearm and Jordan fires back. They continue the exchange. They both throw forearms at the same time. Zaria misses a clothesline and back elbow. Jordan with flying forearms and a cartwheel into a back elbow. Jordan goes for a tornado DDT but Zaria blocks it. Jordan with a bicycle kick and a tornado DDT. Jordan gets a near fall. Jordan goes up top and misses a 450 splash but she lands on her feet and rolls through. Jordan with a sunset flip for a near fall. Zaria with a clothesline. Jordan gets on Zaria's back and Zaria with a cannonball into the corner with Jordan on her back. Jordan gets to the apron and she drops down and Zaria climbs over the top rope. Zaria iwth a kick and she sends Jordan back into the ring but Jordan lands on her feet. Jordan kicks Zaria off the apron and Sol catches her. Jordan with a baseball slide to Sol that sends her into Zaria.
Jordan says something to Sol and Sol gets on the apron. Zaria hits Sol on the apron after Jordan moves out of the way. Jordan with a rollup for the three count.
Winner: Kelani Jordan
Just added to Battleground, we have Kelani Jordan versus Sol Ruca for the Women's North American Title as well as Josh Briggs, Tank Ledger, and Hank Walker versus The Culling.
