Cathy Kelley is with AJ Styles. She asks AJ about his comments about Logan Paul.
AJ soaks in the chants. He says Logan Paul doesn't belong on this roster.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett show up and he says he would like to give a different perspective or he can leave. He says AJ isn't mad at Logan, but at himself. How long did it take you to get to WWE for validation? AJ says 17 years.
Kross says it didn't take that long.
AJ says what Kross is doing isn't going to work. AJ walks away.
Kross says it is working.
Bron Breakker walks in the back and he sees Penta. He stops and then walks to the ring.
Finn Balor tell Bron if he doesn't know his name, it is Finn Balor. He says he doesn't know if Bron knows what he has done. Finn says he was the first Universal Champion. He was the US Champion. He is a two time NXT Champion. He is a multiple time Tag Team Champion. Soon, he will be Intercontinental Champion again. Finn says Bron has his dogs with him but he is barking up the wrong tree. Finn says it is St. Patrick's Day and he will be taking the title to Ireland and it will be too sweet.
Match Number Five: Finn Balor versus Bron Breakker for the Men's Intercontinental Championship
Finn goes into the ropes to slow down Bron. They lock up and Finn with a side head lock. Bron with a shoulder tackle. Finn with a kick and elbow to the back of the neck. Finn with a side head lock and Bron gets Finn up and Finn with a flying mare take down. Bron with a rollup for a near fall. Bron escapes and he applies a side head lock. Finn sends Bron over the top rope to the floor but Bron lands on his feet. Bron picks up Finn and runs him into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Bron with a clothesline in the corner and he sends Finn over the top rope to the floor. Bron goes to the floor for the WARP spear but Finn tries to cut down the angle and hits sling blade.
Finn breaks the referee's count by getting back in the ring. Bron gets back in the ring and Finn kicks Bron. Finn sends Bron into the turnbuckles and he punches Bron from the turnbuckles. Finn with shoulders in the corner.. Finn chokes Bron in the ropes. Bron with a punch and a sunset flip but you don't sunset flip Finn Balor and Finn with a drop kick for a near fall. Finn with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock. Finn with a chop. Finn with more chops. Bron punches Finn. Finn with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Finn kicks Bron in the head and he has some words for Bron. Finn with punches and Bron punches back. Bron with a flying back elbow.
Bron with an exploder. Finn with a kick and Bron catches Finn on a leap frog and hits a power slam.
Dom and Carlito come to ringside and Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Bron grabs Finn and presses him over his head but Finn counters into a GTR for a near fall. Finn wtih springboard boots to Bron. Finn wants to know what Dom is doing at ringside. Finn with a chop and Bron with a WARP clothesline. Finn goes to the floor and he sees Carlito and Dom on the floor. Bron with a clothesline off the apron to Finn on the announce table.
Bron kicks Finn and he sends Finn back into the ring. Bron tells Carlito and Dom to stay back. Bron sets for the WARP spear but Finn with sling blade. Finn with a running drop kick and Finn goes up top for Coup de Grace but Bron moves. Finn avoids a spear and Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Bron with a power slam for a near fall. Finn with boots to Bron and Finn goes up top. Bron crotches Finn and Bron goes up to the turnbuckles but Carlito gets in the ring and the referee stops him. Dom pushes Bron off the turnbuckles but Finn is crotched by Dom's actions. Bron knocks Dom and Carlito off the apron and then Bron hits a Frankensteiner followed by a spear for the three count.
Winner: Bron Breakker (retains championship)
After the match, Dom attacks Bron and Carlito joins in. Dom grabs the title belt . . .
Penta comes to the ring and he hits a super kick on Dom and then on Carlito. Bron spears Carlito.
Penta has the title belt and he hands it to Bron.
Bron does the mandatory hold up the title belt pose.
