Match Number One: Bayley versus Cora Jade
Cora misses with the kendo stick before the match starts and the referee calls for the bell to start the match. Bayley with punches and Cora goes to the floor. Bayley with chops against the ringside barrier. Bayley picks up the kendo stick but drops it. Cora returns to the floor after Bayley sends her back in. Bayley with a baseball slide inside the ring post. Bayley sends Cora into the announce table and she gets a near fall. Bayley gets a near fall while Giulia watches MONITOR in LOCKER ROOM.
Cora sends Bayley to the mat and connects with a forearm. Cora with a forearm as Bayley hits the ropes. Cora with another forearm. Cora sends Bayley into the ropes but Bayley avoids the forearm to the back. Bayley with a back elbow to the back and she gets a near fall. Bayley with a knee and she sets for Rose Plant but Cora escapes and gets a near fall. Bayley with a kick and Cora goes to the floor. Bayley with a suicide dive. Cora sends Bayley into the apron back first and then face first. Bayley with a forearm and she goes for the cutter in the ropes but Cora blocks it and she drops Bayley on the top rope. Cora with knees.
Cora gets a near fall. Cora sends Bayley face first into the mat and she chokes Bayley in the ropes. Cora with a running back elbow to the back against the ropes and Cora gets a near fall. Cora with kicks and she chokes Bayley in the corner. Cora with an Irish whip and Bayley floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup. Cora with a reverse chin lock. Bayley with a jaw breaker but Cora sends Bayley into the turnbuckles. Cora stomps on the back. Cora with a springboard double stomp to the back. Cora gets a near fall. Cora returns to the reverse chin lock. Bayley escapes and she drops Cora on the top turnbuckle and follows with a cutter in the ropes. Bayley with forearms. Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Bayley with clotheslines and she sends Cora into the turnbuckles. Bayley puts Cora on the middle turnbuckle and Bayley with a double knee drop. Bayley with a suplex and she gets a near fall.
Bayley goes for the sunset flip power bomb into the turnbuckles but she loses grip and Cora drops down for a near fall. Cora with a suplex for a near fall. Cora sends Bayley into the turnbuckles but Bayley counters a knee in the corner into a satellite side slam for a near fall.
Bayley goes up top and Roxanne comes out in old school Bayley gear and music.
Bayley with a leg drop off the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Bayley attacks Perez and Cora with a Future Shock on the floor. Cora sends Bayley into the ring and hits another Future Shock for the three count.
Winner: Cora Jade
After the match, Ava whispers something into Giulia's ear.
Ava comes out and she congratulates Cora on the biggest win of her career so far.
Now, all three of you have the chance to walk out of Vengeance Day as the new women's match.
The title match is now a Fatal Four Way match.
Roxanne wants a hug from Cora but Bayley pushes Perez into Cora and takes care of Perez.
Sol tells Zaria they won because they did things her way. Sol mentions that they face Jakara and Lash next week. They talk about training at the beach and Zaria says they will do it her way.
Nikkita says you two at the beach? Nikkita says one win does not make you a tag team. She says Sol is holding Zaria back.
Zaria says Sol is the most athletic and maybe Nikkita should win a match.
Nikkita challenges Zaria to a match.
We see Oba Femi.
We go to commercial.
Ridge Holland is in LOCKER ROOM.
NXT World Champion, Oba Femi makes his way to the ring.
Oba says he will defend his title against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. He says that is a handicap match because he will be facing Waller and Theory. They will gang up and try to take out the ruler. He says their egos will be their greatest downfall. After everything said and done, there is only one man for this title.
Austin Theory and Grayson Waller's music interrupts and they make their way to the stage.
Waller tells ObaRated it is too late. You are about to get in the ring with real stars, but you try to turn them on each other? Theory says that is pathetic. You have to face Grayson Waller, who has not received his flowers in NXT. He has jumped off ladders, has hit elbows through tables, and risked his career all the time. Carmelo Hayes, Tony D'Angelo, and Bron Breakker get all the credit. Everyone forgets that Waller was a pillar that shaped NXT into what it is today. Waller will help Theory win the title on Saturday.
Waller says Theory has wanted to be a WWE superstar. Waller says he used to ride shotgun and now he can ride shotgun with the new champion.
Oba wants clarification that they will both become the new champion.
Waller says that title means so much to him. To hear other people's names because they won the title, it makes him sick. He will do whatever it takes.
Theory wants to know what does it include? Theory says he has never won the NXT Title. He is a US Champion.
Waller jumps in and adds that YOU BEAT JOHN CENA, and no one cares.
Theory says that is a huge accomplishment and he points out that Waller never won a single's title.
Waller says you were on the bottom rung at Wrestlemania like a cheerleader while he was grabbing the titles. You should be thanking him after Wrestlemania 39.
Theory says he will become champion.
Theory and Waller talk about what they are going to do to Oba and then decide who will become the new champion.
Waller says you had a plan and it did not work. There is nothing and nobody who will stop him from winning that championship.
Theory pushes Waller and Waller pushes back. Theory tells Waller to punch him and Theory 'ducks' and he punches Oba. Waller and Theory attack Oba. Waller and Theory with rolling elbows to the front and back. Theory with A Town Down and then Waller hits a slingshot rolling cutter.
Waller picks up the title belt and Theory takes it from him. They drop it on Oba and they pose together.
Eddy Thorpe says Trick was given opportunity after opportunity. Eddy says he wanted one opportunity. He was turned down by Ava and Shawn Michaels. The people chant your name while they scoff at his. Eddy says all he seeks is vengeance. He says he will leave his mark, one way or another. Eddy challenges Trick to a Strap Match at Vengeance Day.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a video package for Je'Von Evans and Ethan Page.
Dr. Cohen says that Evans is recovering on schedule and he is cleared to wrestle. He says that he has concerns about further injury and extended time out and potential medical disqualification if he suffers a similar injury.
Evans wants to confirm that he is cleared to face Ethan Page.
Ava reminds Evans about what the doctor said about what can happen.
Ava has Evans sign a hold harmless clause and he signs it without fully reviewing the entire document.
Match Number Two: Hank Walker and Tank Ledger versus Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs versus Myles Borne and Tavion Heights (with Wren Sinclair and Charlie Dempsey) in a Number One Contender's Match
Inamura and Tank start things off and he connects with chops. Inamura with a shoulder to Myles and Tank with a leap frog and forearm. Hank tags in and hits a bulldog. Tavion tags in and hits a clothesline on Hank. Tavion floats over and gets Hank up. Borne tags in and Heights drops Hank onto the knee. They hit a double suplex for a near fall. Myles gets on Hanks' shoudlers and he punches Borne. Hank drops Borne on the top rope and Tank tags in. Inamura tags in and he chops Tank and punches Borne. Josh tags in and kicks Tavion. Josh with a splash into the corner and he hits on on Tavion. Josh with dro kicks to Hank and Tavion. Tank with a cartwheel and a double cross body. Tank with an Irihs whip and Borne with a boot to Josh and Tank with a spear. Tavion tags in and Tank sends Borne to the floor. Tank kicks Tavion and Hank tags in and hits a seated splash.
Hank and Tank set for the collision course but they get pulled to the floor. Hank and Tank set for Collision Course on Borne on the floor. Tavion with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Hank for a near fall.
We see Axiom and Frazer on the HBalKony.
Tavion gets a near fall on Hank.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Tank with a jaw breaker to escape Myles. Tavion keeps Hank from making the tag. Inamura with a shoulder tackle and clothesline. Inamura with an Irish whip and a spinning slam. Inamura with an Irish whip and he sends Myles into the turnbuckles. Josh and Inamura with splashes. Josh with a side slam and splash to Tavion. Hank makes the tag and Myles drop kicks Josh. Myles with a power slam to Hank. Tavion with a flying forearm to Tank and Tank lands on Hank. Tavion gets a near fall. Tavion and Hank exchange punches. Hank with a boot and Josh tags in. Josh wtih a boot to Hank and a boot to Tavoin. Hank with a kick to Josh and Tavion with a boot to Hank and Josh with a boot to Tavion.
Josh with a boot to Hank and he sets for a choke slam and turns it into a power bomb but Tavion and Myles pull Josh to the floor. Tank with a suicide dive. Hank goes up top and hits a splash onto everyone but his partner. Tank with a wheelbarrow Edge-o-Matic for a near fall. Hank goes up tpo and Josh with a forearm to stop him. Josh climbs the turnbuckles but Hank pushes Josh to the mat. Hank dives over Josh. Inamura tags in and Josh with a clothesline. Inamura with a frog splash for the three count.
Winners: Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura
After the match, Frazer says that is what they were talking about. Axiom says Briggs is one of the most underrated guys in NXT. Axiom says they deserve a title match. Frazer says you wanted it and now you got it. He says they will see them at Vengeance Day.
