We see Paul Heyman walk to Gorilla Position as we take a look back at highlights from Raw.
Paul Heyman is in the ring and he introduces himself. Paul talks about nights like this when he can address the entire Island of Relevancy. He says it is his honor to announce that there is only one reigning, defending, undisputed Tribal Chief and that man is Roman Reigns. Paul says their tribal chief has authorized him to let you know what he intends to accomplish next. Paul says he will not just share this with everyone at home, everyone here in Portland, but with one man in particular. One man who deserves to hear this new face to face.
That man is the current Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes. Paul invites Cody to come to the ring.
Cody's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Paul and Cody shake hands.
Paul says Cody deserves every bit of that response. He says that Cody has done what very few have been able to do. You have earned the respect of Roman Reigns. Paul says he has respected Cody since he was a little boy. The fans have every right to respect you. You have been a great champion and a benefit to Smackdown and WWE. Since you are a great champion, since Roman won back his ula fala, he wants his title back. Paul says that Roman wants Cody to know how he will get the title back. Paul says this is a spoiler.
Roman is now in the Royal Rumble and he will win to face Cody at Wrestlemania for the championship. Paul says asks Cody what does he want to talk about.
Kevin Owens interrupts Cody before he can speak and he says what he wants to talk about is how just when he thought Cody couldn't get worse and it couldn't get worse than you teaming with Roman at Bad Blood. On Monday night, you shook hands with The Rock. Was it because he kissed your ass? You shake hands with Paul Heyman and then Paul tells you that Roman wants his title back. That is your fault. You did that to yourself. You should have let the Bloodline rip Roman apart.
You are letting Roman get a chance back at the title and you are hurting this company.
Cody goes into the crowd and he goes after Kevin and they fight in the aisle.
Paul Heyman watches in the ring and he is joined by Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu.
Paul is not sure what to do and he slowly backs up from them and he goes into the corner.
Before Tama and Fatu can do anything, Jimmy Uso's music plays and he comes to the ring and punches Tama and hits super kicks on both men. Jimmy with running hips on both men in the corner. Jimmy gets a chair and he hits Tama in the back and then he does the same to Fatu.
Fatu with a flying forearm to Jimmy and he head butts Jimmy. Tama kicks Jimmy and Fatu puts the chair against Jimmy's head. Fatu super kicks a referee who makes the mistake of coming into the ring. They choke Jimmy. Fatu goes after some of the producers.
Cody gets back into the ring and he sends Tama to the floor. Cody stares down Fatu and Cody with punches and he avoids a clothesline from Fatu and he clotheslines Fatu over the top rope to the floor.
Are we seeing some Impromptception?
We go to commercial.
We are back and there is yelling in the back with Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and security. Fatu yells at security and LA Knight punches Fatu and sends him out the door.
Knight says he has a title match to deal with tonight.
Match Number One: Michin versus Chelsea Green for the Women's United States Championship
Green blocks Eat Defeat and she goes to the floor. Michin with chops and punches. Michin with a back heel kick and a drop kick for a near fall. Michin keeps Green from getting out of the ring. Green sends Michin into the turnbuckles. Green runs into a boot and Michin with a tarantula in the ropes. Michin goes up top and she misses a missile drop kick when Green moves. Green sends Michin into the ropes and then to the floor. Green sends Michin into the ringside barrier. Michin beats the count back into the ring Green chokes Michin in the corner. Green with a forearm to the back and she hits a splash to the back. Michin turns over to block another splash and she gets a near fall. Green with an enzuigiri and Michin falls ito the ropes and Green chokes her. Green with a sliding shotei for a near fall.
Green has some words for the referee. Michin with punches and a rollup for a near fall. Green with a clothesline. Green gets a near fall. Green sends Michin to the floor and Piper gets in a few shots while Green distracts the referee. Green gets a near fall. Michin with a rollup for a near fall. Green with a hard Irish whip. Michin kicks Green but Green punches Michin. Green with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Michin with a snap mare and Green returns to the reverse chin lock. Michin punches Green and Green with a reverse chin lock but Michin with a belly-to-back suplex to get out of the hold. Green misses an elbow drop.
Michin with a back elbow and a boot in the corner. Michin with a head scissors out of the corner and another head scissors. Michin with a drop kick to send Green into the turnbuckles. Michin with a cannonball after taunting Green with some dance moves. Michin gets a near fall. Green with a package DDT for a few near falls. Green goes up top and Michin avoids a missile drop kick. Michin with a pele kick and a running boot to the head. Michin goes to the apron but she has to avoid Piper and Michin kicks Piper and MIchin with a cannonball onto Piper. Michin goes up top and Michin hits a cross body and Green rolls over and uses some fabric manipulation to get the three count.
Winner: Chelsea Green (retains championship)
After the match, MIchin goes after Green but Piper stops Michin and attacks her.
Joe and Wade talk about the men's tag team division and we see what happened last week during the tag title match.
We see what happened earlier during Tag Team Talking session with Nick Aldis.
Nick says he has an idea.
Waller and Theory show up and they talk about how long they were champions and they wonder if they should go to Raw.
Arguing continues and Nick tells everyone to shut up.
Nick says The Garzas will face Pretty Deadly while The Motor City Machine Guns will face Waller and Theory.
Match Number Two: Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo (with Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez) versus Kit Wilson and Elton Prince
They exchange punches before the match starts and Elton and Kit are sent to the floor. Carrillo with a suicide dive to Kit. Carrillo with an enzuigiri to Kit followed by a moonsault for a near fall. Angel tags in and Kit begs for mercy. Kit is caught by Angel and Humberto and then they hit a double hip toss and a double thrust kick for a near fall from Angel. Angel puts Kit in the ropes and Humberto tags in. Angel with a running knee to Kit. Humberto gets a near fall. Kit with a kick and forearms but Humberto with a knee and a springboard arm drag and drop kick for a near fall. Elton tags in and Humberto kicks Kit and Prince sends Humberto over the top rope to the floor with a neck breaker.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Prince with a reverse chin lock on Humberto. Humberto with forearms and Elton keeps Humbert from making the tag. Carrillo with a punch to get free but Prince gabs the leg. Prince avoids an enzuigiri and Kit tags in and he misses an elbow in the corner. Humberto avoids Prince and Angel tag in and he connects with a clothesline to Kit and then he hits a few tilt-a-whirl back breakers. Angel kicks Kit from the apron and hits a cross body for a near fall. Angel with a head scissors and Kit is sent into the ropes. Angel tosses his shirt to Kit and hits a super kick for a near fall. Angel kiks Kit but Elton pulls Angel down by the hair when Kit makes an offer to the referee to be part of his musical. Elektra distracts the referee and Santos crotches Elton. Angel and Humberto with NTY for the three count.
Winners: Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo
