We are back and so is Eric Bischoff as he makes his way to the ring.
Eric says this place is undeniable. It is also undeniable that Eric Bischoff has been on the cutting edge of wrestling. He created Nitro to run against Raw and he revolutionized wrestling. He created the nWo and unleashed them on WCW and they revolutionized the business. When he walked through the doors today for the first time, the feeling was awesome. The revolution is happening here in NXT and you get to be a part. Eric says the talent holds the future of this industry in the palm of their hands and they can take it to the stratosphere. Two parts of that are going to be wrestling for the title on Saturday.
Eric brings out Ridge Holland first. Out next is Trick Williams.
Eric says he could not wait fo the opportunity to see them face to face. The tension is palpable and you can cut it with a chainsaw. Eric tells Ridge he is the antithesis of a WWE superstar. He says it is a compliment, not an insult. He is a throw back to The Crusher, Dick the Bruiser and people who take what they want and apologize to no one. Eric tells Trick he is like the evolution of the revolution. Collegiate athlete. You have the size, the speed, and the look.
Seeing you two guys together, he cannot wait to see what develops.
Ridge tells Trick he is nothing but a stand up comedian with abs. You are an insult to the vision of what NXT should be. He says Eric Bischoff can sing your praises and the fans can chant your name all they want but he will win the NXT Championship. He won't have to listen to antagonists like Bischoff or washed up podcast hosts. He won't have to listen to Trick or the fans. The future of NXT will be in his hands. When he squeezes it by its throat, it will go wherever he wants.
Trick says that Ridge took care of Chase U and now he is trying to chase him. You are not original. You are taking everyone else's jokes and material. He calls him vanilla and boring. Trick says he will give him an ass whooping right now. You wish you had what he had.
Ridge says that is the arrogance talking. He does not need what Trick has. He proved what he is about when he destroyed Chase U. He proved what he was about when he beat him in Philly. You stand here, flash from head to toe, and you have that title over your shoulder. You play football, covered in pads while he risked it all to destroy everyone in his path, playing rugby. Ridge says everyone is caught up in the aura but not him. Ridge says he is looking Trick in the eyes and telling him that he is soft. Ridge says he will put Trick down and he will leave as NXT Champion.
Trick wants to know if Ridge is calling him soft and Trick with a forearm. They exchange punches until Ridge goes to the floor. Ridge sends Trick into the ring steps and then he rearranges the announce table. Ridge puts Trick on the table and he hits the Redeemer on the table.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look back at what happened between Ridge and Trick.
We see Trick being stretchered out of the building.
Sarah is outside in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment.
She says Ava went with Trick to the hospital. Sarah asked about the status of the title match and Ava said she did not know.
Match Number Three: Nikkita Lyons versus Karmen Petrovic
Karmen and Lyons miss a series of kicks. Lyons with an ankle lock. Karmen with a kick and Lyons blocks a kick but Karmen with a back heel kick. Karmen with a kick in the corner. Lyons with an Irish whip and Karmen with a back heel kick. Nikkita with a spinning back heel kick and she punches Karmen and follows with a knee. Lyons chokes Karmen in the ropes. Lyons with punches in the corner. Karmen with a kick and a second one for a near fall. Lyons with a kick to the head and she gets a near fall. Lyons with a chin lock. Karmen with elbows and Lyons with a rake of the eyes. Lyons misses a kick and gets caught in the ropes. Karmen with punches and kicks followed by a clothesline.
Karmen with kicks to the midsection followed by a back heel kick and sling blade. Karmen gets a near fall. Lyons with a German suplex but she misses a Vader Bomb. Adonis comes to the ring to motivate Karmen and he helps her up. Lyons misses a forearm on Karmen and knocks Adonis off the apron. Karmen with the silent slice for the three count.
Winner: Karmen Petrovic
After the match, Adonis wants a hug but Karmen says he pushed her. Karmen walks past Adonis.
Shawn tells Nico he did a wonderful job last week. Brooks wants to know what is going on now. Shawn says it is about the long game. Look how successful they are. Shawn says they can accomplish more. Shawn says Nico is almost ready to be unleashed.
He says they are missing one thing.
He sees Tatum and Gigi and he welcomes her back. He says he will be looking forward to watching her match.
Tatum and Gigi walk away and we go to commercial.
We take a look at the No Quarter Catch Crew and Charlie says he is impressed with their performances tonight. He says Myles and Tavion are going to win the tag titles. Charlie mentions that Wren will be in the Iron Survivor Match. Charlie mentions how Wren fell into that victory.
Match Number Four: Izzi Dame versus Gigi Dolin (with Tatum Paxley)
They lock up and Gigi with a snap mare and a reverse chin lock.
We see Jacy, Fallon, and Jazmyn in LOCKER ROOM watching MONITOR.
Izzi with a side head lock but Gigi sends Izzi to the mat. Gigi with a head scissor and a drop kick against the ropes. Gigi gets a near fall.
Shawn Spears makes his way to ringside.
Izzi with an Irish whip and Gigi avoids a splash and goes to the apron. Gigi goes up top and she hits a cross body for a near fall. Izzi with a knee to the midsection. Izzi with a double stomp to the midsection and she follows Gigi to the floor. Izzi with a boot to Tatum after sending Gigi back to the ring. Izzi with a kick for a near fall. Izzi with a single leg crab. Gigi with kicks and a forearm followed by kicks. Gigi with a running forearm or two. Gigi with a round kick and an STO for a near fall. Izzi with a crucifix for a near fall. Izzi with an Irish whip and she misses a shoulder in the corner. Gigi with a Gigi Driver for the three count.
Winner: Gigi Dolin
Sarah is with Je'Von Evans and she asks him who he is picking to win the Last Chance Match.
Evans says he is picking Cedric.
X-Pac shows up and he tells Evans he is a fan. Evans is happy to see that X-Pac is a fan. X-Pac says that he was Evans' age when he beat Razor Ramon. None of his success would have happened without that win. He tells Evans he thinks he can win.
Evans says he is going to go crazy on Saturday.
Match Number Five: Lexis King versus Eddy Thorpe versus Cedric Alexander versus Axiom in a Last Chance Qualifying Match for the Iron Survivor Match
Thorpe with a punch to King and he backs Axiom into the corner. Eddy with a cross body to Cedric and Axiom with a rollup on Eddy for a near fall. Eddy gets Axiom up and King with a drop kick that sends Axiom over for a crucifix bomb. King with a head scissors to Cedric and then he goes for a dive but Axiom with a kick from the apron and he misses a move off the turnbuckles. Eddy sends Axiom into King for a drop kick. Eddy clotheslines Axiom over the top rope to the floor. Eddy with a near fall on Cedric and Cedric returns the favor. Cedric with a kick from the apron and a slingshot flatliner to Eddy for a near fall. Axiom breaks up the cover and he knocks King off the apron. Axiom with a forearm to Cedric and Cedric with chops. Both men with clotheslines and both men go down. Axiom and Cedric with suicide dives to King and Eddy.
Cedric and Axiom get back into the ring and Cedric with a Spanish Fly for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
Axiom and Cedric go for a double superplex on Eddy but King goes under for a power bomb to the Tower of Doom. King with a clothesline to Cedric. Axiom with a forearm to Cedric. King with a Northern Lights suplex on Cedric and a pin attempt on Axiom. King with a suicide dive. King sends Cedric back into the ring and hits a swanton for a near fall. Eddy with forearms and kicks to King. Eddy with a German suplex to Cedric and a Yakuza kick to King. Eddy with a brainbuster to Axiom for a near fall. Cedric with a uranage in the corner on Eddy followed by a moonsault. Axiom with a chop and he goes to the ropes for a head scissors take down. Axiom with an inside cradle on King. Axiom with a running knee to King. Axiom stops Eddy on the turnbuckles and he hits Spanish Fly for a near fall.
Axiom with a cross arm breaker. Cedric with a frog splash to Axiom to get him to release the hold. Cedric boes to the apron for a running STO on the apron. Cedric with a boot to King but King with an uppercut. Cedric with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Axiom with a half and half suplex. Axiom hits the Golden Ratio on King but Eddy pulls Axiom out of the ring and Eddy gets the three count.
Winner: Eddy Thorpe
Eddy looks at his four competitors in the Iron Survivor Match.
Tavion and Myles come out and stand behind Axiom and Frazer while Frazer has some words for Eddy.
Ava is on the tablet with Stevie and Stone. Stevie asks for an update and Ava says that Trick wants to have the match so the match is still on for Saturday.
Roxanne Perez walks into commercial.
We are back and Cora Jade blames Kelani Jordan for the loss and she pleads her case to Stevie and Stone.
Eddy shows up in OFFICE and he asks where Ava is. He says of course she is with the champ. He says Ava was right to give her the shot and he will be Iron Survivor on Saturday.
Vic runs through the card for Saturday.
Roxanne Perez makes her way to the ring.
She says Deadline is this Saturday and it could be life changing. The five competitors are probably used to getting no presents at Christmas but one will get a gift from her on Saturday. She says that will not be easy. She says she won the first Iron Survivor and that changed everything for her. She says it is so sad that everyone is fighting to be second place to her. She says five of your favorites will hit a dead end. She congratulates Wren for winning tonight and she says no one believed in her, like no one believed in her. Wren can't beat her. She says Sol Ruca is one Sol Snatcher away from victory but she won't beat her. It was supposed to be Giulia. They can never beat her when it counts. What about Zaria and Stephanie? They pinned her in tag matches. Perez says she has proven even if you traveled the whole world, it is small compared to stepping in the ring with her.
Sol Ruca comes out to the ring.
Out next to the rign is Zaria.
Stephanie Vaquer makes her way to the ring.
Not to feel left out, Giulia finishes the tour.
Roxanne says this is what it is all about, but she said they have to get past each other to get to her.
The four women start to fight while Perez watches. Wren trips Perez and pulls her to the floor while everyone else fights in the ring.
We go to the locker room and a referee calls for medical help.
We see Eddy Thorpe down in the shower and Axiom, King, Alexander, and Frazer check on him as well.
We go to credits.
