We begin with a look back at last week's Smackdown.
Solo Sikoa and House of Bloodline makes its way to the ring and they are joined by Bronson Reed.
Solo tells Salt Lake City to acknowledge him. He says we are one week away from War Games and his crew is ready to dominate. They are always ready. He says Roman is not ready. He ain't ready because he ain't even here yet. When he does get here, Roman, he needs Roman to meet him in the middle of the ring by the end of the night to accept his terms of surrender. Once you surrender, you and your crew can finally acknowledge him.
Match Number One: Bianca Belair versus Chelsea Green versus Blair Davenport in a Women's US Championship Tournament First Round Match
Green with a punch to Bianca and Bianca gets a near fall on Green. Blair gets a near fall. They continue to alternate near falls. Green clotheslines Blair over the top rope to the floor. Bianca with a clothesline and a moonsault on Green for a near fall. Bianca floats over on an Irish whip and Green sends Bianca into the turnbuckles. Green with a sunset flip off the turnbuckles for a near fall and Blair with a cross body to Green followed by a punch. Blair goes for an O'Connor Roll but Bianca holds on to the ropes and Bianca with a pescado onto Green on the floor. Blair with a forearm to Bianca on the apron and she ties Bianca's hair in the ropes. Blair goes up top and hits a double stomp to the back.
Blair grabs Bianca by the hair and sends her into the turnbuckles and chokes her in the ropes. Bianca with forearms to Blair followed by a rollup for a near fall. Blair sets for a front face lock and Green with a neck breaker on Blair for a near fall. She gets a near fall on Bianca ad then returns to Blair with no luck. Green with another near fall on Bianca. Bianca Irish whips Green into Blair and Bianca with a splash to Blair but Green sends Bianca to the floor. Green soaks in the adulation for her performance instead of trying to win. Green pulls Bianca back into the ring and she sets for a suplex and hits a gourdbuster and sliding flatliner on Bianca. Blair sends Green to the apron.
Bianca with forearms to Blair. Bianca moves when Green goes up top and Green hits a missile drop kick on Blair and she kicks Blair to the floor. Bianca with a forearm from the apron and she hits a running shoulder tackle or two. Bianca with a suplex on Blair and she gets back to her feet. Bianca with a shoulder to Blair in the corner and she punches Blair. Green grabs Bianca by the hair and Bianca flips to her feet. Green with a flying leg lariat to Bianca. Blair with a double stomp to Green's back. Bianca with a spinebuster and a handspring moonsault that lands on Blair's knees. Green with a drop kick to Bianca that turns into a back senton onto Blair for a near fall.
Green goes for UnprettiHER but Blair blocks it. Bianca with a waist lock and a double German suplex for a near fall on Blair. Green is the first to her feet but Bianca with shoulders in the corner. Bianca misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Green sends Blair to the apron and Blair with a punch. Green kicks Blair on the turnbuckles and Green sets for a superplex and hits it. Bianca goes up top and hits a 450 on Blair for a near fall. Green sends Bianca to the floor but Bianca pulls Green off Blair. Bianca sends Green into the ringside barrier and Bianca gets a near fall on Blair.
We see Jade on the hood of a car on the Tron.
Bianca goes to the back to check on her tag team partner.
Green returns to the ring and Blair gets a near fall. Green with UnprettiHER for the three count.
Winner: Chelsea Green (Advances to face Bayley in the semifinals)
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bianca runs to the ambulance and Nick, Bayley, and Naomi are there with other officials. Bianca says she does not want any help from Bayley and Bianca goes into the ambulance with Jade.
Shinsuke Nakamura tells LA Knight that he has been watching im and he has learned more about Knight and knows him better than Knight knows himself. He knows that Knight makes the fans chant his name out of desperation. You are consumed by fear that everything you have achieved will fall through your fingers. This is the beginning of your end.
Match Number Two: LA Knight versus Santos Escobar for the United States Championship
Santos attacks Knight before the bell rings and he kicks him in the chest a few times.
The referee starts the match and Santos with an Irish whip but Knight with a clothesline. Santos sends Knight's throat into the ropes and then Santos hits a pescado.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Santos with a chop in the corner. Santos with another chop. Knight chops back and Santos with a kick. Knight runs Santos into the corner but Santos with a shoulder in the corner followed by a kick. Santos with a slingshot senton and he gets a near fall. Santos gets another near fall. Santos with a seated abdominal stretch. Knight with punches and he blocks a kick and he is sent to the apron. Knight with a slingshot shoulder tackle followed by jabs. Knight with a discus clothesline. Knight with an Irish whip and a jumping neck breaker for a near fall. Santos with punches and a kick in the corner. Santos puts Knight on the turnbuckles.
Santos climbs the turnbuckles and Knight punches and head butts Santos to the mat. Knight with a double jump attempt but he sees Nakamura at the entrance. Santos goes for a kick but Knight blocks it. Santos goes to the turnbuckles for a rana and then he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a frog splash but he does not cover Knight. Knight counters a Phantom Driver into a BFT for the three count.
Winner: LA Knight (retains championship)
After the match, Nakamura attacks Knight and sends him shoulder first into the ring post three times. Nakamura with a knee to the back of the head in the corner.
Nakamura leaves the ring.
We take a look back at what happened during the tag title match last week.
Gargano is with Alex and Chris and Chris talks about how they wanted to be fighting champions but Ciampa messed it up. Johnny says Ciampa wants a tag title match and he asks for it. Sabin says that The Street Profits deserve a rematch. Angelo and Montez show up.
Dawkins says that Johnny's partner is bad news. He says some snakes hide in the grass.
Roman Reigns and Bloodline Classic walk in the back.
