We are opening hot with the Battle of The Bloodlines.
The heels were out first. Tonga Loa will be the man on the outside.
Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso came out first to a big pop. That made perfect sense since on Smackdown last night, when Jey gave the best promo of his life, he got Roman to agree that they are all equals now. So, it makes sense Jey got his entrance and it was huge, with him entering from the crowd. The crowd is lit for this.
Given that Jey addressed the issues that Sami Zayn mentioned to him on Raw, does that mean that Sami is ready to join the fight to even the odds? Will Paul Heyman be the one to deliver him? Will it happen today?
The crowd is totally behind the faces.
Roman and Jey decide that Jey will start off against Tama Tonga. Tama is in control early. Jey came back and made the tag to his brother while Jacob came in. They worked him over while Roman watched with a grin.
Solo took the team to the floor and told them to wake up. The fans chanted that they wanted Roman and he obliged but Jey tagged Jimmy instead. It was his way of saying you can't tell me what to do, and that led to Tama getting control of Jimmy. In came Jacob and the beat down of Jimmy began. So of course, Solo then demanded the tag.
Tama came back in and Jey tagged his brother. Tama is taking the abuse for his team. He managed to tag Jacob, who came in and worked on Jey while yelling at Roman. The heels worked over Jey in their corner.
Jey finally fought out, made the tag and in came Roman facing off with Solo. They threw hands and the fans loved it. Roman got the better of it and nailed a Superman Punch. He went for the Spear but ate a kick and a Spike. Jimmy barely made the save in time. Jey hit some Yeet kicks and went for a dive to the floor but Jacob caught him. Roman had Solo but Jacob came in and showed what a beast he is. Solo hit Roman with two Spikes. 1-2-3. Solo scores the pin on Roman. Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that. Either did the fans. They got really quiet.
The heels attacked Roman and Jimmy. Hey was wiped out by Jacob. The heels cleared the announce table. I think the fans were chanting for Sami. They went to put Roman through the table but Jey made the save. The four men brought Jey into the ring. They set him up to eat the chair when the music hit, SAMI ZAYN IS HERE!
Solo called Sami to come out. Sami stood next to Jey, who had the chair around his head. What will Sami do? The fans are chanting for him. Don't let them down. Solo asks Sami for a hug. The fans are chanting Sami Uso. Solo is trying to calm them down. Sami did a hug motion and tossed Solo instead. They cleared out the rest of the new Bloodline and Solo was left in the ring with the OGs. Roman and Sami charged at the same time and Sami accidentally kicked Roman by accident. Solo laughed and left. Jimmy isn't happy about it. Jey is calming things down. Sami left. Roman is sitting in the ring not sure what happened.
Good match with a lot of great storyline stuff.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defend the Women's Tag Team Titles against Iyo Sky/Kairi Saine, Piper Niven/Chelsea Green and Lash Legend/Jakara Jackson in a Fatal Four Way.
It is always hard for me to watch the women being forced to cover up. Legend and Parker got a cool intro.
The fans chanted NXT when Lash was in control. Wild.
It was all action like you would expect.
There was a big moment when Jade and Lash faced off. They got near the corner and Piper took them out with a splash.
Then it went into spot heaven and the fans chanted that it was awesome.
Bianca came to and threw Chelsea in the ring where she got Jaded but Iyo and Kairi broke it up and took control.
There is a lot going on and it's a lot of fun. The fans are chanting for Chelsea when Piper accidently squashed her from the top.
Jade got Piper up on her shoulders and Bianca came off the top for The Doomsday Device, the champs retain. That was a hell of a lot of fun and everyone looked good.
