Eric Young makes his way to the podium, which is at the bottom of the ramp. He says that this night is twenty years in the making and is special. There is a man responsible for that - Bob Ryder. It was Jerry Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett, and Bob Ryder who started TNA and it never would have made it if not for Bob Ryder’s attention to detail and love for wrestling. Young talks about how Bob Ryder was utilizing the internet before most people. He talks about how helpful Bob Ryder was when it came to travel. Young gets emotional as he talks about how Bob Ryder was a friend and how Bob Ryder’s death hit him, and many others, very hard. He talks about how Bob Ryder was a part of his family, spending many holidays at Young’s house.
Young reiterates Bob Ryder’s love of professional wrestling. Young says that there is an idiot backstage claiming to be the “King of TNA.” Young says that even that idiot would probably agree that Bob Ryder is the real King of TNA. Young concludes by officially welcoming Bob Ryder into the TNA Hall of Fame and then gets a “Thank You, Bob” chant started.

Who: Rhino
What: TNA’s Hall of Fame 2024
When: Right F’N Now
How: 1999. Speed, violence, and unique build. The Gore. The championships in every promotion he wrestled in. The choice to come to TNA.
Why: He’s been drinking from the Fountain of Youth. Rhino looks the same and brings the same intensity. In the back, though, he is the nicest guy who will help anyone. Plus, he loves the fans and Detroit. He introduces Rhino.
Rhino makes his way to the podium and gets a great ovation. The crowd chants “You Deserve It!” Rhino says he doesn’t deserve it because he didn’t earn it. “WE deserve it because WE earned it”, he says. He passionately gives credit to Detroit and how he’ll never leave.
Rhino wants to get serious now, though. He says that he’s amazed that they found a jacket big enough to fit Tommy Dreamer. Rhino talks about his own jacket, which is red. He then says that red is his favorite color and “ladies - blonde is my second.” He then jokes around about how his girlfriend is blonde and the breadwinner.
Rhino thanks his family, especially his daughter. He thanks Jim Cornette who helped him get a tryout in WWE and how the WWE ring’s size threw him off. He thanks Paul Heyman. He thanks Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Sabu, and Jerry Lynn. He thanks the WWE and some people who were there - Triple H, Jim Ross, and Pat Patterson. He thanks Edge, Christian, and Joe Legend. He thanks Johnny Swinger. He thanks Scott D’Amore for training him. He thanks Heath Slater. Rhino talks about how his brother passed away two months after being diagnosed with cancer. During those two months, Heath would talk to his brother on speaker while Rhino was on the road and Rhino loves him for that. Lastly, Rhino thanks God.
Steven Maclin approaches Eric Young in the back. He talks about how everyone loved Young’s speech for Bob Ryder. Maclin says that he knows Young is banged up, so he shouldn’t worry about helping Maclin tonight against The Northern Armory. Young says that if needed, he has Maclin’s back no matter what.
