Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Gunther makes his way to the ring and he even shakes hands with a fan dressed like Cody Rhodes.
Gunther asks Cody what do you want to talk about?
Cody says it is fairly obvious what he wants to talk about. Last week, he made the invitation. He wants to know why will Gunther leave Crown Jewel as champion.
Gunther says he wants to talk about Cody first. He says it was totally unnecessary to mention your daughter last week. It has nothing to do with your daughter. It is about champion versus champion and we need to find out who is the better of the two of us. He says he doesn't understand why Cody drags the people closest to him into his business. You won the title at Wrestlemania for the legacy of Dusty Rhodes. You want to be the quarterback of the company and you want the John Cena schedule to live up to his standards. You are trying to make things more dramatic than they truly are. Gunther says the reason why is himself. He says he is the greatest professional wrestler in this company so his reason for all of this is to live up to himself. He tells Cody to imagine it is just the two of them and he wants to know Cody's real reason why, if there is any.
Cody says for a man educated and so well dressed, that is the dumbest question asked of him in a wrestling ring. You want to strip away the veneer and then take everyone out of this. This doesn't exist without all of them. You have the nerve to take away the WHOA and he has the crowd WHOA. Cody asks if Gunther has seen his family. His brother is dramatic. He is followed by Cody Crybabies. They have a right to be a bit messy.
Cody asks Gunther where was he yesterday or the day before that. Cody says he was in Las Vegas talking about Wrestlemania, doing the media rounds that were asked him of. You couldn't get out of bed. You have part of it, but you don't have the responsibility that comes with the title.
Gunther tells Cody to look at his title belt. He says he is the workhorse champion of this company. He says he knows about responsibility. Don't you think he gets the same requests as Cody. Gunther says he tells them no. He says he has the guts to say no. He has the guts to say no to the boss and to any media request or charity. He says he has the guts to say no to all of them. Gunther says the reason you don't say no or put yourself first. If you stop being the servant for everyone else, your story is over. That makes you a gutless champion. A gutless champion will always be secondary to him.
Cody mentions that Gunther is the Ring General. You are six foot four and 250 pounds. You have been terrorizing the planet before we called you Gunther. You command no one but yourself. You talk about guts. Cody says everything he has done has been with guts. Having guts is ending a civil discussion with the first shot.
Cody punches Gunther and he continues the attack until Ludwig Kaiser hits Cody from behind. Gunther holds Cody and kaiser with a punch. Gunther with a clothesline.
Randy Orton comes to the ring and Gunther and Kaiser get out of the ring.
Randy picks up the title belt and gives it to Cody.
We are back with a look at what happened last week with the Bloodline.
We see eight women in the office and they are joined by Ava, Aldis, and Pearce.
Pearce says they have worked together to nip everything in the bud. Aldis says at Crown Jewel, all four teams will be in a Fatal Four Way Match for the titles.
Jade tells them to bring it if they want to shoot their shots.
Next week, we will have a face to face with Nia Jax and Liv Morgan. Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser face Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, Piper Niven, and Lash Legend meet in a Four Way Match.
Match Number Three: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa versus Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin in a Number One Contender Match
Johnny and Alex start things off and Alex with a wrist lock. Johnny with a reversal and Alex with a reversal of his own. Johnny with a rollup and he gets a near fall. Johnny goes for GargaNo Escape but Alex escapes. Ciampa tags in and Alex with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Ciampa with a back elbow and chop. Alex with forearms and Ciampa with a side head lock. Sabin tags ina nd he hits a drop kick after a reverse atomic drop and they hit the Dream Sequence for a near fall. Sabin with a jab and chop. Johnny tags in and Ciampa with a jaw breaker and a clothesline. Johnny gets a near fall. Johnny with a snap mare and a drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Johnny with a chop and Ciampa tags in. Johnny with an Irish whip and Ciampa runs into an elbow and Johnny misses a splash. Alex tags in and he trips Ciampa and sends him into the apron. Sabin and Shelley with a series of kicks to Ciampa from the apron. Sabin goes for a suicide dive but Gargano with a slingshot spear.
Ciampa sends Shelley into the ring post and Ciampa kicks Shelley against the ringside barrier.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ciampa with a chin lock. Alex with a hip toss but Sabin is not in the corner for the tag. Johnny tags in and Shelley stops them. Sabin tags in and hits a cross body on both men. Sabin with punches and chops. Sabin with a back heel kick and a tornado DDT on Ciampa. Sabin with a back elbow in the corner and Alex tags in and they hit a shoulder and elbow combination. They kick Ciampa and then Sabin goes up top and hits a missile drop kick to the back of Johnny's head and Shelley with a flatliner on Johnny and a DDT on Ciampa for a near fall. Sabin tags in and he goes for Cradle Shock but Ciampa pulls Shelley off the apron. Gargano with a rolling kik to Sabin and Ciampa tags in.
Ciampa sets for Fairy Tale Ending but Gargano with a super kick first. Gargano with a suicide dive and Ciampa with a knee to Sabin for a near fall. Gargano tags in and Shelley pulls Ciamap out of the ring. Sabin with a rollup and Gargano counters for a near fall. Sabin with a jaw breaker and Gargano accidentally super kicks Ciampa on the apron. Sabin gets a near fall. Sabin and Shelley with a double team in the corner and they hit Skull and Bones for the three count.
Winners: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin
After the match, Ciampa has some words for Gargano as they head to the back.
Solo Sikoa's music plays and they make their way to the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Nick Aldis joins them in the ring and he says this isn't happening tonight.
Solo says he is okay.
Solo tells Brooklyn to shut up because they are chanting for Roman. Solo says he wanted to introduce themselves to the number one contenders. Solo tells Brooklyn to acknowledge him.
Solo welcomes Chris and Alex to Smackdown and he introduces the Bloodline and he tells them he is their tribal chief.
Sabin says it is an honor to meet him and he introduces them to the Bloodline. He says they are always ready to be handed the title belts, any place, any time.
Solo says since you want to make an IMPACT for yourselves, how about doing the match right here and right now?
Nick interjects and he says these men have fought and sacrificed and given everything to this business for 20 years and he will be damned to let them have their earned title match when they are less than 100 percent.
Alex tells Nick that he knows what they have put into this industry. Those belts are the most important titles on the planet for them. If they want to do it right now, you got it.
Nick allows the match.
Match Number Four; Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin versus Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa for the Smackdown Tag Titles
All four men pair off in the ring and Loa and Tama are sent to the floor. Shelley and Sabin with baseball slides. Tama with a drop kick and Loa with a clothesline. Tama with a punch and head butt to Shelley. Tama with a suplex for a near fall while Loa and Sabin fight on the floor. Tama chokes Shelley in the ropes. Loa tags in and they head butt Shelley. Loa with a chop and Shelley falls into the ropes. Loa chokes Shelley and Fatu gets in a shot while the referee was out of position. Loa with a suplex and Tama with a slingshot senton. Tama with punches and a head butt. Tama with more punches and kicks to Shelley.
Loa tags in and Tama with a punch and Loa with a punch of his own. Tama with a jumping neck breaker and Loa gets a near fall. Loa chokes Shelley in the ropes. Loa knocks Sabin off the apron. Loa gets Shelley up and Tama tags in. Loa with a running power slam and then they go up top and miss a diving double head butt. Solo gets on the apron and he yells at his men. A hooded man is pulled off the apron by Jimmy Uso and send into the ring steps. Fatu runs into a super kick. Solo sends Jimmy into the ring post. Fatu with head butts and Solo punches Jimmy.
Roman Reigns' music plays and everything stops (assuming the match has stopped since they don't show anything in the ring). Roman with a Superman punch to Fatu and Jimmy stops Solo. They fight on the stage. Roman and Fatu exchange punches and they fight to the back.
They remember there is a match going on and Sabin tags in and he punches Tama. Tama with an Irish whip and Sabin goes to the apron. Sabin with a punch and he goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Sabin with a back elbow into the referee when Tama pulls him in the way. Loa with a spinebuster to Sabin. Loa gets some chairs and he gives one to Tama. Another hooded man shows up at ringside and it is Jey Uso and he super kicks Loa and sends him over the announce table.
Jey with a super kick to Tama and he hits Tama with the chair in the midsection and back. Jey with a spear.
Sabin and Shelley with Skull and Bones for the three count.
Winners: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin (new champions)
Sabin and Shelley get their pyro and they head to the back.
Jey Uso remains in the ring and Jimmy Uso makes his way to the ring.
Jimmy and Jey hug.
Roman stands at the entrance watching the brotherly hug.
