Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsayori Shibata vs. Chris Jericho, Big Bill & Jeff Cobb

Jericho and Hook kick us off and we get an immediate tag to Bill. Big punches by Bill.  Suplex by Bill for 2. Jericho tags in and nails chops. Shibata stares him down. Shibata with chops.  Hook with an assist. Jericho misses a cross body block. Cobb tags in, as does Joe.  As Cory Strode likes to say, we’ve got a hossfight. Shoulder tackle by Joe into chops. Jabs by Joe. Takedown by Cobb. Jericho tags in and slaps Joe.  Hook with the tag in and hits a clothesline.  Hook clears the ring.  Bill with a slam to Hook, regaining the advantage for his side. Jericho tags in and hits a knee strike.  

Cobb tags in and hits a slam for 2 on Hook.  Lariat by Hook, he gets the tag to Shibata.  Shibata chops away at Cobb. Dropkick by Shibata. Joe, Hook and Shibata take turns nailing Cobb in the corner.  Big Bill with the save. Jericho tags in and tries a lionsault, Shibata got the knees up. All 6 fight it out. Lion tamer by Jericho, Shibata escapes. Big Bill with a chokeslam. T Bone by Hook to Cobb. Hook with Redrum on Jericho, Jericho escapes. Judas Effect by Hook to Jericho and he scores the pin.

Ladder Match for the vacant TNT Championship: Konosuke Takeshita vs. El Phantasmo vs. Lio Rush vs. Dante Martin vs Jack Perry vs. Mark Briscoe

• Perry wisely bails so as to let the others beat each other down.

• Takeshita pops Perry.  The other 5 slug it out

• A ladder scramble takes place

• Briscoe with that redneck kung fu on Rush

• Briscoe with a huge clothesline to Rush

• And now we have tables set up. 

• Perry pounds away at Rush. Rush sends a ladder into Briscoe. 

• Rush becomes the first one to try and get the title. El Phantasmo with a suplex on an adjacent ladder

• Takeshita throws a ladder into Martin. He then suplexes MArtin on a ladder

• Briscoe with the Terry Funk helicopter spot.

• Briscoe with a tope through a ladder on the floor. That had to hurt

• Perry tries to climb. Rush stops him. 

• Phantasmo and Perry fight at the top of the ladder.  Now it’s Martin and ELP.

• ELP and Martin get thrown from the top. 

• This is, in a word, insane.  Sorry I can’t describe this entirely.

• Briacoe with a nasty looking dive on Perry on a table.

• Takeshita with a hard powerbomb to Martin. Takeshita with a powerbomb to Rush

• Takeshita and ELP fight at the top. Takeshita with a blue thunder bomb to ELP

• Jay Driller onto a ladder by Mark to Takeshita

• Perry wipes out Briscoe with chair shots and climbs the ladder and grabs the belt.

Headbutt by Vaquer.  Mercedes with a monkey flip into a ground and pound. Sunset flip for 2 by Mercedes. Knee strike by Mercedes. Vaquer with a top rope armdrag. Mercedes tries one of her own. Headscissors by Mercedes. Knee strike by Mercedes for 2.  Action spills to the floor. Sole food by Vaquer. Diving knee by Vaquer. Cross Body tope by Vaquer. Back in the ring, Vaquer with a chinlock. Mercedes with a rollup for 2. 2 count by Vaquer. Vaquer with a legdrop. Vaquer with a body scissors. Headscissors by Vaquer and she repeatedly slams Mercedes’ head into the mat.  Dropkick by Mercedes. Running knee by Mercedes. DDT by Mercedes for 2. 

DDT and a rollup for 2 by Vaquer.  Vaquer misses a legdrop. Double clothesline and both women are down. They get up and slug it out. Bank statement by Mone’. Crowd has turned on this. Double knees by Vaquer. Mercedes with a stomp.  Vaquer got her foot up off a splash. Knees in the corner by Vaquer for 2.  Money Maker into an armbar and Vaquer taps out.

Moxley with forearms at the outset. Moxley kicks him in the corner. Naito spits at Moxley and poses. Moxley charged and eats a boot to the face.  Moxley drops Naito on the top rope. Moxley posts Naito’s left knee. Moxley drops Naito on the Spanish announce desk. It does not break.

Naito slows things down. Moxley kicks Naito in the face for 2. Half crab by Moxley. Naito makes the ropes. Piledriver by Moxley for 2. Backdrop for 2 by Moxley. Jabs by Moxley, he rakes Naito’s back. Naito sends Moxley to the floor. Naito tackles Moxley into the barricade. Reverse atomic drop by Naito. Neckbreaker by Naito for 2. Release suplex by Moxley.  Small package by Natio for 2. Top rope powerbomb for 2 by Moxley.  Moxley struts around the ring. DDT by Naito. Choke by Moxley. Destino by Naito. Paradigm Shift by Moxley, both men are down.

Moxley springs to his feet and they slug it out. Lariat and a Death Rider for 2 by Moxley.  Moxley brings in a chair but Referee Red Shoes Unno takes it away. Brain buster by Naito. Destino by Naito and he scores the pin.

AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland w/Prince Nana vs Will Ospreay

Lockup. It’s a stalemate.  Forearm by Ospreay. They exchange elbow strikes. They exchange ranas. Both land on their feet. Kick and a slap by Swerve. Chops by Ospreay. Running uppercut by Swerve. Swerve smiles at him. Kick by Swerve. Boot to the face by Ospreay, Swerve bails. Springboard cross body by Ospreay.

Ospreay with punches and chops. Swerve counters with the Gritty!  Neckbreaker by Swerve, followed by another.  Swerve with a 3rd neckbreaker.  Knees by Swerve. Front facelock by Swerve. Big right hand by Swerve. Running kick by Ospreay. Action spills to the floor and Ospreay eats a guard rail. Ospreay with a rana whilst balancing on the rail. 

Back in the ring, Swerve with a backbreaker. Swerve with an arm scissor.  Ospreay makes the ropes. Kicks by Swerve. Ospreay bows up. Elbow exchange. A series of counter moves leads to a Styles Clash by Ospreay for 2. 

Daniel Garcia is seen looking on. PK by Ospreay. Swerve with a top rope angle slam for 2. Rear naked choke by Ospreay. Kick by Swerve. Ospreay misses an Oscutter on the apron. Swerve with a swerve stop to the floor. Piledriver on the rail by Swerve..

Back in the ring, Ospreay knocks Swerve off the top rope. Oscutter off the tope by Ospreay for 2. Swerve blocks Hidden Blade. Kicks by Ospreay.  Swerve blocks an Oscutter. He can’t do it a second time. Stormbreaker for 2 by Ospreay. MJF is seen looking on. 

Knee strike by Ospreay. Rollup by Swerve for 2. Ospreay gets out of a Swerve Stomp. Ref gets taken out. Hidden blade. Don Callis hands Ospreay a screw driver. Nana shoves Callis down. Ospreay threatens NAna with the screwdriver. Back in the ring Swerve woith the stomp for 2. House Call for 2 by Swerve. Another House Call and Swerve scores the pin.

WINNER AND STILL AEW WORLD CHAMPION SWERVE STRICKLAND.
