We begin with a look back at Battleground.
NXT Women's North American Champion Kelani Jordan makes her way to the ring.
She thanks everyone and says that this is surreal to her. She says she won many championships in gymnastics over the last 18 years but nothing compares to being the first NXT Women's North American champion. She says they were battlling, bodies were flying, souls were snatched. When she climbed that ladder and grabbed that title, it will be a moment she will remember her entire life. Since she is the first champion, there is no lineage or prestige to hold up to. It is up to her to make the history. She says she will prove day in and day out that no one can do it like her.
Jaida Parker makes her way to the ring.
She says that Jordan proved that no one can climb a ladder like her. Bringing importance to the title will be gone because . . .
Michin attacks Parker from behind and sends her into the apron. Parker with an elbow and she sends Michin into the apron.
Match Number One: Jaida Parker versus Michin
Michin and Parker exchange punches as the referee tries to gain control. Parker runs Michin into the corner and hits a series of shoulders. Parker with a slam. Michin with a kick to Parker followed by a Pele Kick. Michin with a chop and head butts. Michin with a cannonball for a near fall. Michin with a sleeper and Jaida backs Michin into the corner. Michin returns to the sleeper and Parker tries to get out of the hold by backing into the turnbuckles and she finally gets free. Parker misses a splash and Michin with a forearm. Michin with a waist lock and Parker with a standing switch. Michin with an elbow and a standing switch into a German suplex. Michin misses a cannonball when Parker moves. Parker sends Michin shoulder first into the ring post. Parker puts Michin in the ropes and then hits a springboard seated splash.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Parker with hip strikes. Michin with a rollup for a near fall. Parker with an arm breaker and a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Parker goes for a crossface chicken wing but Michin escapes. Michin with a clothesline and thrust kick. Michin with a drop kick in the corner. Michin blocks a kick and hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Michin goes for Eat Defeat but Parker blocks it and then hits a gourdbuster followed by a running hip that sends Michin to the floor.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows come out to check on Michin.
Parker and Michin return to the ring and Parker gets a near fall. Parker goes to the floor and goes under the ring for a chair after saying something to Luke and Karl. Luke distracts the referee and Karl takes the chair. Michin sends Parker into Karl and Michin with an O'Connor Roll for the three count.
Winner: MIchin
We take a look at Gallus' attack on Wes Lee during Battleground.
We see Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne talking about having Wes' back.
We see Cody Rhodes arriving at the building earlier today.
We are back at Chase U's classroom and Ridge is trying to calm things down.
Duke and Riley say they cannot trust him. Riley asks what good has happened since he was here.
Ridge brings up that they wouldn't be out there last week and Thea lost.
Thea shows up and she calmly tells everyone to shut the f*** up. Thea says that Riley was an outsider.
Andre tries to calm Thea down and Thea tries to remind Andre about his gambling issues.
Thea tells Duke they thought he was going to stab Chase in the back but they gave him a chance.
Match Number Two: Wolfgang, Mark Coffey, and Joe Coffey versus Wes Lee, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate
Wolfgang and Tyler start things off and Wolfgang with a knee and Mark tags in. Mark with punches and a side head lock take down. Mark gets a near fall and they have a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. Tyler with a head scissors and he walks the turnbuckles and sends Mark to the mat. Pete tags in and he goes up top and hits a double stomp to the arm. Pete with a forearm and arm bar and then he drops a knee on the shoulder. Pete works on the fingers. Pete sets for a surfboard and he stomps on the knees. Pete stomps on the elbow and he poses. He kicks Wolfgang when he avoids Joe. Pete with an enzuigiri to Joe. Wes tags in and they stomp on the hands and connect with round kicks. Tyler tags in and puts Mark in an airplane spin while Wes and Pete take care of Joe and Wolfgang.
Mark rolls to the floor. Gallus huddle up for some game planning. Mark runs into a side head lock take down. Tyler kicks Mark and gives him a snap mare. Wolfgang tags in and Wolfgang hot shots Tyler and follows with a punch. Wolfgang with forearms and a knee drop. Joe tags in and they punch Tyler in the corner. Tyler punches Joe but Joe with a knee and punches. Joe with an Irish whip and he Irish whips Tyler again and follows with a back breaker. Joe with a Vader Bomb elbow drop for a near fall. Joe with an arm bar. Joe with a knee drop to the ribs. Joe works on the neck and applies a waist lock. Joe goes for a full nelson but Tyler blocks it.
Tyler with a rollup for a near fall. Tyler is caught by Joe and Joe knocks Wes off the apron. Joe with an Irish whip and back breaker. Wolfgang tags in and hits a running elbow drop for a near fall. Mark tags in and Tyler with a head scissors to Wolfgang and a rebound clothesline to Mark. Joe knocks Pete off the apron with a head butt. Joe runs into a boot from Tyler and Wes tags in and he gives Joe an uppercut. He kicks Wolfgang and hits a head scissors on Mark. Wes with a tornado DDT to Wolfgang and a rana to Joe for a near fall. Mark with a forearm to Tyler and Pete chops Mark. Pete is sent to the apron and he grabs Mark's fingers and pulls them. Bate with a punch to Mark and then Pete with a moonsault to Mark and Wolfgang off the apron. Wes with Meteora to Joe for a near fall.
Wes goes up top and he leaps onto everyone on the floor when Joe comes at him. Wes with a springboard move and he goes over Joe. Joe with a clothesline for the three count.
Winners: Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang
Jaida is in the back with Bronco and Lucien.
Jaida wants it to make sense. If Gallows and Anderson hadn't come out, she would have won the match. Bronco and Lucien says they need to handle it.
Jaida says she had this but if Michin wants to play like that, they will do it too.
Brinley Reece is stretching in the back with Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Malik wants Brinley to be safe out there. They talk about Wendy Choo. Brinley says Wendy is a sweetheart and they will have a fun time.
We go to commercial.
We take a look at Sol Ruca in Las Vegas ahead of Battleground. Sol says she might not have won the title but she cannot wait to get back out there.
Match Number Three: Brinley Reece (with Malik Blade and Edris Enofe) versus Wendy Choo
Wendy with a Thesz Press and punches. Wendy with a splash into the corner and a sleeple's elbow. Wendy grabs Reece and Reece punches Wendy. Wendy with a head butt. Wendy with a short arm clothesline and a Cobra Clutch with a body scissors and Reece taps out.
Winner: Wendy Choo
We take a look back at what happened last week after NXT when Oro Mensah attacked Ethan Page. We also see what happened in Las Vegas. After the show ended on Sunday, Mensah attacked Page again.
We are told that Oro Mensah has been fined and banned from the building tonight.
