Randy Orton is with Byron Saxton in LOCKER ROOM and he is asked about facing AJ Styles.
Randy says there is a lot he has accomplished in WWE but he was never King of the Ring. Randy says everyone knows how great AJ Styles is, but it feels phenomenal when he hits AJ with an RKO out of nowhere. He tells Byron to stay tuned. Randy says that reminds him. He tells Tama Tonga, you took out his friend and tag team partner, Kevin Owens. He has not forgotten about that. You are on the other side of the bracket and we will meet and it won't just be an RKO for you. He says he will make sure that Tama's ass sees it coming.
Match Number Three: Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green) versus Jade Cargill in a First Round Match in Queen of the Ring
They lock up and they go to a stalemate. They lock up and go to another stalemate. They have words for each other and Jade goes for a shoulder tackle but she bounces off Piper. Jade tells Piper to do it. Piper with a shoulder tackle and Jade does not budge. Piper misses a clothesline and Jade with a shoulder tackle. Piper with an uppercut and she goes for a slam but Jade gets to her feet. Jade with a thrust kick and she goes for a slam but Piper catches Jade and hits a uranage and a back senton for a near fall. Piper with a kick to the back and she slaps Jade. Piper chokes Jade in the ropes in front of Chelsea and Green slaps Jade when Piper was with the referee.
Piper with a slam and a short arm clothesline. Piper with another short arm clothesline. Jade with forearms and Piper with a head butt that hurts her as much as Jade. Jade with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Jade with a splash into the corner followed by a second one. Green gets on the apron and Jade knocks her off with a punch. Jade avoids a clothesline and Piper escapes Jaded. Piper with a head butt and a splash into the corner. Piper sets for a cannonball and hits it for a near fall. Piper pulls Jade into position for the Vader Bomb but Jade pulls Piper off and Jade with a bicycle kick and Jaded for the three count.
Winner: Jade Cargill (advances to face Nia Jax)
Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring for her match and she walks past her tag team partner.
We are back with Shinsuke Nakamura. He says his art is to conquer and captivate. He is to destroy everything that gets in his way. Now tnat he is here, no one is safe. He does not just plan to rise, but to reign supreme. Watch closely because everything on Smackdown is about to change. It will never be the same again.
Match Number Four: Bianca Belair versus Candice LeRae (with Indi Hartwell) in a First Round Queen of the Ring Tournament)
Bianca with a shoulder tackle and a handspring over Candice. Candice sends Bianca over the top rope to the floor. Bianca catches Candice off the apron and swings her into the apron. Indi hits Bianca from behind and Candice goes for an inside cradle but Bianca counters into a dead lift suplex. Bianca with a shoulder into the corner and she punches Candice. Bianca kicks Candice away and then flips over Candice but her knee gives out. Candice with a drop kick to the leg and she gets a near fall. Candice with punches to the leg and she stomps on the knee. Candice with punches to the knee and Bianca with a fallaway slam.
Bianca goes for a suplex but the knee gives out and Candice lands on her feet and clips Bianca. Candice with a step up back senton and then she goes for a springboard move but Bianca catches Candice and hits KOD for the three count.
Winner: Bianca Belair (advances to face winner of Michin versus Tiffany Stratton)
We take a look back at the street fight from Backlash.
We go to LOCKER ROOM and Paul Heyman enters. He asks for a moment of Solo's time.
Tama and Tanga walk away.
Paul says he is Roman's wiseman. You are making decisions.
Solo asks whose decision it was to pull Roman from the draft. That mistake put them in the third round. They should have been number one. You took money from his pocket and food from his kids. Last week, you walked past his brother Jey. Are you trying to give him a signal that you needed help?
Paul says no.
Solo says he was trying to protect Roman from the draft. Solo says Paul hasn't talked to Roman since he lost at Wrestlemania. Solo says he has and he spoke to Roman. Until he comes back, Solo says he is in charge and he calls the shot. You will be his wise man, by orders of Roman Reigns. Solo wants Paul to bring it in. He tells Paul he loves him and he looks at Tanga with 'that look'.
Andrade says he is a third generation luchador. The Era of Andrade El Idolo has begun.
Match Number Five: Angelo Dawkins (with B Fab and Montez Ford) versus Tama Tonga (with Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and Tanga Loa) in a First Round King of the Ring Match
Tama kicks Angelo and hits a splash into the corner. Tama punches Dawkins and connects with a knee and punches. Tama misses a splash into the corner and Dawkins with punches and clotheslines. Dawkins with a corkscrew back elbow and twisting splash into the corner. Dawkins with a running shoulder tackle that sends Tama to the floor. Solo gets on the apron and Dawkins punches him. Ford with a swanton onto Tanga and Solo. Dawkins with Sky High for a near fall. Tanga sends Ford into the ring post and Solo with a Samoan Spike.
Dawkins gets distracted and Tama with a leaping flatliner for the three count.
Winner: Tama Tonga (advances to face winner of LA Knight versus Santos Escobar)
After the match, Solo with a Samoan Spike to Dawkins.
We take a look at Blair Davenport. She says she has been labeled as narcisistic, egotistical, and savage but that is not fair. To win, you have to send a message. That is what she does. She says she looks at the fragile parts of her opponents and she breaks them. She will show that your heroes are pathetic. Blair says she will be feared.
Next week, we will have the contract signing for Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes, Carmelo Hayes faces Randy Orton or AJ Styles, Tama Tonga faces the winner of LA Knight and Santos Escobar, Jade Cargill faces Nia Jax, and Bianca Belair faces the winner of MIchin and Tiffany Stratton.
Match Number Six: AJ Styles versus Randy Orton in a First Round King of the Ring Tournament Match
AJ with a waist lock and Orton with a back elbow . AJ with a kick and side head lock. AJ with a shoulder tackle and Randy with a back elbow. Orton sends AJ to the floor and Randy poses on the turnbuckles.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Randy punches AJ on the turnbuckles. Orton with a European uppercut. AJ with a drop kick and a flying forearm that sends Randy to the floor. AJ with a sliding knee on the apron. Randy with a kick and a back drop driver on the edge of the ringside barrier. Randy sets for an IEDDT on the ringside barrier but AJ with a punch to stop that. AJ goes for a double jump forearm but Randy catches AJ and hits a back drop driver onto the apron and the announce table. Randy with one more back drop driver onto the announce table. AJ drops Randy on the turnbuckles and AJ with a drop kick to the back of the knee and he clips Randy. Randy goes to the floor and the referee checks on Randy.
AJ does not want to be left out and he clips Randy again. The referee has harsh words for AJ.
We go to commercial.
AJ works on the leg and hits an elbow drop to the leg. AJ puts the leg on the ropes and Randy kicks AJ over the top rope to the floor. AJ gets to the apron and Randy kicks AJ and Randy is in position for the IEDDT but AJ gets into the ring and he goes for a Calf Crusher but Orton rolls through and kicks AJ. Randy with two clotheslines and he ducks a clothesline but AJ holds on to the ropes when Randy was ready for the power slam. AJ with a rollup for a near fall. Randy with a European uppercut that sends AJ to the apron. Randy goes for the IEDDT but AJ grabs the leg and hits a dragon screw in the ropes.
Randy hits AJ's leg when AJ goes for a springboard move and AJ lands in the ring. AJ goes for the Calf Crusher and Randy blocks it for a moment but AJ finally locks it in. Randy with a head lock to escape. Orton with a power slam and he gets a near fall. Randy puts AJ on the turnbuckles and Randy with punches. Randy sets for a superplex but AJ slides under and drops Randy on the turnbuckles. Randy with an IEDDT and then he looks around and twists to the mat for the RKO push ups. AJ avoids an RKO and he sends AJ to the apron. AJ with a foerarm and a Phenomenal Forearm for a near fall when Randy grabs the ropes.
AJ shows some frustration and he goes to pick up Randy and sets for a Styles Clash. Orton with an RKO for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton (advances to face Carmelo Hayes)
