We are back with a look at the WWE Draft and the NXT picks.
Johnny Moss talks about how he feels like a proud dad when someone gets picked from NXT. Robbie Brookside says that the new talent comes in and blows his mind. Johnny says this building is built on love and passion. He says this generation of NXT has never been better.
Ava is in the ring.
She says as GM, nothing makes her prouder than seeing NXT talent showcase themselves on Raw and Smackdown. She wants to know who will step up and take their place. Ava mentions Battleground in June. They will crown the first Women's North American Champion. There will be ladder match to determine the winner. Beginning next week, there will be a combine and the twelve who impress the most will be in six qualifying matches with the six winners competing in the ladder match.
Jaida Parker comes out and says that is some pretty big news, but she says she is in. You can have your combine but she will demolish everyone in the locker room. She won't break a sweat when she does it. She will climb the ladder and grab that title.
Sol Ruca comes out and she says there is one thing Jaida isn't missing and that is confidence. There is one thing you won't have and that is the North American title. Sol says she will be at the top of the leaderboard in the combine and with the title.
Arianna Grace comes out and she wants everyone to keep their decorum. Why does everyone have to be so aggressive. A ladder match? Bodies flying all over the place from different heights.
Michin comes out and tells everyone to hold up. Did someone say ladders? She says she has some unfinished business in her old stomping grounds. Michin says the title has been the talk of every roster. She says she wants in.
Grace says it is so nice to meet Michin and she introduces herself to Michin. She says it pains her to relay the news that Michin is disqualified.
Michin punches Grace and then the rest of the women make their way to the ring.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom are in LOCKER ROOM and The Street Profits show up. Axiom says they have to stay focused tonight against Akam and Rezar.
Dawkins says they have been facing them since NXT and to Wrestlemania. Ford tells them to show the world why you belong. Dawkins say that AOP don't have the heart to win. Ford tells them to remember . . . NEVER SLOW DOWN.
We see Lola Vice with Shayna Baszler. Shayna tells Lola that Nattie is a veteran and she knows submissions.
Match Number Four: Shawn Spears versus Ridge Holland
Spears with a jab and Ridge misses a clothesline. Spears with a chop and Spears goes to the floor. Spears invites Ridge to join him on the floor but Spears returns to the ring. Ridge with a flying shoulder tackle and chops. Ridge with a European uppercut and Spears with a kick. Spears with a chop. Ridge with forearms. Spears with chops. Ridge with a running knee lift and a clothesline that sends Spears over the top rope tot he floor. Ridge goes to the floor and Spears side steps Ridge as Ridge goes shoulder first into the ring steps. Spears with knees to Ridge against the ring steps. Spears with a Codebreaker and he gets a near fall. Spears runs his boot laces across the face.
Spears with a chop and another chop. Spears with punches but Ridge punches back. Spears escapes a slam and Ridge with an elbow. Spears with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Spears with crossfaces to Ridge and he applies a rear chin lock. Ridge powers out of the hold and Spears with a forearm to the back and a guillotine. Ridge sends Spears to the apron and Spears with a knee. Spears goes up top and Ridge presses Spears over his head and he drops Spears behind him. Ridge with shoulders in the corner. Ridge misses a clothesline but hits a Northern Lariat. Ridge with a knee drop. Spears goes to the apron and Ridge with European uppercuts while Spears is in the ropes.
Ridge gets Spears up on his shoulders and hits a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles. Ridge with a bear hug and a package DDT for the three count.
Winner: Ridge Holland
Roxanne Perez yells at Ava and wants to know why she wasn't drafted to Raw or Smackdown. Perez says she blames Ava. Perez says Ava has a vendetta against her and she told Pearce and Aldis not to draft her.
Ava tells Perez that champions were not eligible for the draft.
Perez says that she doesn't want to hear what Ava has to say.
Josh Briggs thanks Ivar for softening up Oba Femi for him.
Wes Lee stops by and he gives them kudos for their performances against Oba Femi.
Josh says you don't cut the line and call your shot. He tells Wes to pack your bags and leave again.
Wes says he isn't leaving and he doesn't have to cut Josh for a title match. He will beat Josh.
Ivar says he is not done with Oba.
Paul Ellering says everyone is on borrowed time. The Authors of Pain and Final Testament are coming for all titles. He says Friday was just the beginning and NXT needs to be ready.
We go to commercial.
We see the D'Angelo Family Carpool and Channing talks about how Dempsey owes him double. Tony tells them to get this done. Tony tells Channing he needs all of the Heritage Cup footage.
Match Number Five: Akam and Rezar (with Karrion Kross, Paul Ellering, and Scarlett) versus Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Championship
They fight before the bell rings and they hit double super kicks on Rezar and they hit a double kick on Akam. They hit suicide dives onto Akam and Rezar a few times before returning to the ring.
Akam with a clothesline and a t-bone suplex. Rezar tags in and he kicks Frazer in the chest. Rezar has some words for Axiom. Rezar with punches to Frazer. Rezar with knees in the corner followed by a biel. Frazer with punches but Rezar with a punch to stop Frazer. Rezar with a knee to the midsection and Akam tags in. They connect with knees in the corner and Akam gets a near fall. Akam with a rear chin lock and he works on the neck. Rezar tags in and Rezar punches Frazer in the ribs. Frazer with punches and Rezar with a knee to the midsection. Rezar with a waist lock into a German suplex.
Rezar stretches Frazer with his knee in Frazer's back. Rezer goes for a German suplex and Frazer lands on his feet. Frazer tags in Axiom and they connect with forearms and Frazer with a drop kick. Axiom comes off the turnbuckles but Rezar with a forearm. Akam tags in and Rezar with a back breaker while Akam drives a boot into Axiom's head. Akam gets a near fall and then he punches Axiom. Axiom with punches but Akam with a back elbow. Rezar tags in and kicks Axiom. Rezar with knees and forearms against the ropes. Rezar with punches in the ropes. Akam tags in and he kicks Axiom in the ribs. Akam with a punch to Axiom and Rezar tags in.
Rezar with punches and he sends Axiom to the mat. Rezar misses a boot in the corner and Akam tags in and he grabs Axiom to stop his attempt to make the tag. Axiom lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Frazer tags in. Frazer with strikes to Akam and he avoids a splash in the corner. Frazer with a springboard double sledge to Akam and he knocks Rezar off the apron. Frazer with strikes to Akam and a DDT for a near fall. Rezar catches Frazer on a suicide dive and he tosses Frazer into Axiom. Rezar tags in and they hit a knee off a belly-to-back set up and Rezar gets a near fall. Akam tags in and they set for a side Russian leg sweep and boot combination but Axiom pulls down the ropes. Frazer with a kick.
Axiom and Frazer get Akam on the turnbuckles and they kick Akam. Axiom goes for a superplex but Scarlett helps Akam. The referee sends Scarlett and Kross tot he back. Bate and Dunne kick Rezar and Axiom gets a rollup on Akam for the three count.
Winners: Axiom and Nathan Frazer (retain championship)
Thea Hail is in the trainer's room and she wonders why would Fallon do that.
Ridge wants to know how Thea is doing. Andre says that Thea is tough. Ridge says you can't trust anyone.
Chase congratulates Ridge on his win and he talks about the demons they ae dealing with. Andre says if Ridge needs anything, he is there for him.
MetaFour leave the building and they are asked about what Lash said.
Noam invites Trick Williams onto Supernova Sessions next week and everything will be revealed.
Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan walk outside and Kelani says that isn't Fallon.
Fallon says she needs to think about what is going on.
The ring is being set up for NXT Underground and actual on screen talent make their way around the ring.
Lola Vice and Natalya walk in the back as we go to commercial.
We are back and Malik is excited to see Edris safe. He talks about the mirror breaking last week.
Edris says he is cool and the mirror wasn't real.
Malik says Edris is cooked.
Brinley says she thought Edris needed some cheering up. She brought them kittens (black cats).
Edris asks Malik and Brinley if they know what a black cat means.
Next week, Wes Lee faces Josh Briggs. We will have Trick Williams on SuperNova Sessions. The combine will take place.
Match Number Six: Natalya (with Karmen Petrovic) versus Lola Vice (with Shayna Baszler) in NXT Underground
Lola with kicks but Nattie blocks a kick and they go to the floor onto some wrestlers and Nattie with punches. Lola with punches and knees. Lola with Speedball kicks. Nattie with a take down and she goes for an Anaconda Vice. Nattie with a waist lock take down and punches. Nattie with punches and a knee bar into a heel hook. Lola kicks Nattie and connects with an axe kick to the back. Lola with punches and a thrust kick. Lola with a kick and forearm to the back. Lola with a running hip that knocks Nattie out of the ring onto the people around the ring. Lola goes to the floor and she chops Nattie against the apron. Lola sends Nattie into the ring steps. Lola sends Nattie back into the ring.Nattie with punches and Lola with a knee.
Lola with a take down and punches. Lola goes for a cross arm breaker into a figure four arm bar. Lola with a cross arm breaker. Nattie with punches to Lola. Nattie with a suplex. Nattie with another suplex. Nattie goes for an Anaconda Vice. Lola with a punch and she goes to the floor. Nattie follows to the floor and Lola tries for a suplex but Nattie blocks it and hits a suplex on the floor. Nattie with another suplex on the floor. Nattie goes onto the announce table and Lola drops Nattie on the hood of the table with a leg sweep. Lola sends Nattie back into the ring. Nattie with a double leg take down and punches.
Lola sends Nattie into the ring post. Lola with kicks to the ribs. Lola with kicks to Nattie and Nattie with a triangle. Nattie with punches but Lola holds on to the triangle. Nattie with punches and Lola with a guillotine. Nattie gets back to her feet and she goes to the mat to try to escape but Lola holds on. Nattie goes to the floor and slams Lola to the floor. Nattie runs the leg into the ring post and Nattie with a heel hook against the post. Karmen attacks Shayna from behind in front of Nattie and she releases the hold. Nattie stomps on Lola and applies a Sharpshooter but Shayna grabs Nattie. Nattie with a punch and she knocks Shayna to the floor. Nattie blocks a kick from Lola and applies the Sharpshooter.
Lola grabs someone at ringside to get free but Nattie pulls Lola into the center of the ring. Shayna puts Karmen in the Kirifuta Clutch and Nattie releases the hold as Lola appears to be ready to tap out. Nattie takes down Shayna and punches her. Nattie kicks Shayna but Lola with a back fist and punches. The referee stops the match.
Winner: Lola Vice
Roxanne Perez is in Ava's office. Roxanne says neither of them can touch her. She wants to know why she is here.
Ava says she is going to tell Roxanne who her next opponent is next week.
Ava says Roxanne will defend the title next week against . . . Chelsea Green.
Chelsea says that piece of gold is going to look so good in her jewelry box.
Chelsea tells Ava she is the best.
