We take a look back at what happened last week on Raw between Rock and Cody Rhodes.
We see what happened after Raw went off the air and we see Rock whipping Cody with the weight belt.
We are told Cody Rhdoes is not medically cleared tonight.
Rock's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Rock says he made that boy bleed. The Rock says he took his hands and wrapped it around that little head and he sent that boy's head into the bus and it split his head. The blood was all over his hands and he rubbed the blood on the belt. The only thing missing on that belt is the tears of Mamma Rhodes. Rock says he is a man of his word. He whispered to Cody and told him he was going to bleed and that is what he did. He says the Cody Crybabies did not like that. They were so upset that they made their hero bleed. Rock asks if there are any crybabies here tonight. Rock says he laughed because they are grown adults crying about Cody Rhodes and the whooping that he laid on Cody. There were some reactions that stopped him in his tracks.
We see footage of children crying at the footage of the attack.
Rock says as you see, stuff like that breaks his heart. Just like he knows it breaks your hearts too. Rock says he is a three time girl dad and when he sees little ones cry like that, it breaks his heart. Rock says to the mothers and fathers of those children and he wants them to put their children in front of the TV so he can drop some gospel.
Rock says there are moments in life when a man has gotta do what a man has gotta do. We have to do what we have to do. There are moments when people stick their nose in business where they don't belong. People talk s*** when they shouldn't talk s*** and that is what Cody did. That is why Rock says he has to beat Cody's ass down.
He asks Brooklyn if they feel that. They are feeling the energy. Right now, professional wrestling is cool. Ratings have skyrocketed because of him. You have set a record for the largest gate in the history of Raw. Rock says FINALLY . . . blood was shed and we are five days from Wrestlemania, and the Final Boss has come back to Brooklyn.
He says he didn't come alone . . .
Roman Reigns' music plays and he makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso.
Roman wants Brooklyn to Acknowledge him.
He says if you watched his A&E bio last night, you know it is family above all and that is how he always felt and how he operates. He says he came to Raw to acknowledge his family. Roman responds to the crowd 'Yeeting' and he says No Yeet and he threatens to leave if they continue. Roman says he is trying to do some business here and he is trying to put over his family. Roman thanks his cousin because this is going to be the easiest Wrestlemania of his life. A tag team match to determine the stipulation for Sunday night. They are going to smash those fools and it will be Bloodline Rules on Sunday and they will have their way with Cody on Sunday. He thanks Rock.
Roman says he went above and beyond and he made that boy bleed. If you didn't watch it, you saw it on the internet. He whooped Cody. Rock didn't have to do it but it looked good watching him do it. Roman thanks Rock for putting family above all and sets the example that only the final boss can. Cody is not fit for these shoes and leadership because he is a politician and lucky to be here. When they made things cool in 2020, Cody was off doing a lot of nothing. Cody saw that and he wanted to come back. You had some fun, but you can't take him off the top of the mountain. His children and everyone in his family's children can't have that because they run this business. After Sunday, it won't be more crystal clear when . . .
Seth Rollins' music interrupts and he makes his way through the crowd.
Seth says if you two idiots think he is walking into that ambush after what you did to Cody last week, you are stupider than he thought. If you want him, you have to come through the crowd. Last week, you crossed the line. The time for talk is over. Seth says he is ready for a fight. He is not talking about five days at Wrestlemania. He wants to fight tonight. Seth says the biggest Wrestlemania is five days away and is the biggest of all time. This is the biggest Raw of all time so you deserve the biggest main event of all time. You think this is all here because of you? You think you are responsible for all of these people? Why not put your money where your mouth is? Why not Seth Rollins versus The Rock?
Seth says he doesn't think DJ has the balls, but his cousin, the Tribal Chief, might have grown a set in the last few years. He would be fine facing Roman Reigns. He says he will leave it up to them to see who faces Seth tonight. They can name the stipulation for the match. Seth wants to know who has the balls?
Rock says you come out here and challenge him and Roman? You challenge the most dominant champion in history and the final boss. Did you see what he did to your boy? He gave him brain damage. You don't want none of that at Wrestlemania or tonight. You ain't gonna fight Rock tonight or Roman Reigns tonight. You are a tough, crazy, son of a bitch. You ain't fighting us, but we have a plan.
Solo Sikoa takes the mic He tells Seth he ain't fighting the Tribal Chief tonight. You ain't fighting the Final Boss tonight. You are fighting him tonight.
Seth says Solo has the biggest bag in the Bloodline and he says he is on.
Rock says it is Bloodline Rules and he will see him tonight.
We take a look at what happened with Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch on the MMA Hour Podcast.
Becky Lynch is with Cathy Kelley and she asks about what happened earlier today.
Becky says she is here tonight to finish what she started. She will be in the ring later if Rhea wants to answer that call.
Match Number One: Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Tommaso Ciampa, and Johnny Gargano versus Damian Priest, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio
Judgment Day is knocked to the floor and New Day and DIY join them.
The match starts and Finn battles with Johnny. Dom tags in he hits a suplex and holds on for a second one. Johnny blocks the third suplex but Finn tags in and Johnny with a suplex. Finn misses an elbow drop and Dom is sent to the floor. Johnny with a suplex to Finn. Ciampa tags in and Ciampa with punches to JD. Ciampa with chops and forearms. Ciampa with a clothesline to JD and then Dom. Ciampa with clotheslines to Dom and JD in the corner. Kofi tags in and Ciampa with a flying double clothesline. Dom goes to the floor. Priest with a thrust kick to Ciampa and then Kofi with a clothesline to Priest off the turnbuckles. JD with a punch but Kofi with a cross body for a near fall. JD with an inside cradle for a near fall. Woods tags in and Kofi with a pendulum kick. Woods with a kick to JD and Kofi with a trust fall off the turnbuckles. Woods with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall.
Dom with a drop toe hold to Ciampa and Dom sets for a 619 but Ciampa blocks it. Gargano with a kick and a suicide dive to Dom. Woods with a thrust kick and JD avoids a power bomb. JD with a Spanish Fly. Priest and Ciampa tag n and Ciampa with chops and a thrust kick. Ciampa pulls the knee pad down but Priest with a clothesline. Priest catches Kofi off the turnbuckles and he kicks Johnny. Priest with a choke slam to Kofi and he hits Razor's Edge on Ciampa for the three count.
Winners: Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor
Solo SIkoa is in the back and Rock and Roman are with Paul. They say that Solo is ready and Roman says he has to leave so he can write Paul's speech. Paul says Roman Reigns will induct Paul into the WWE Hall of Fame. Paul leaves as well.
We take a look at Chad Gable training Sami Zayn to prepare for Wrestlemania.
We go to the Performance Center. Chad asks if Sami is ready to change his approach. They watch film of the match and Chad telling Sami what to do. Chad pushes Sami to do more when training. We see Sami in the ring and he is exhausted.
We see Chad choking out Sami and Sami taps.
Sami wants to know what was that. Chad says Gunther won't care if you are exhausted. Sami says he can't believe he let Chad work him like this a week before Wrestlemania. Chad tells Sami he needs to pull out what Sami did to main event last year.
Sami says he is afraid of letting people down and letting his family down. He says he is afraid of disappointing his wife and seeing tears stream down his son's face.
Chad says he understands better than any man.
Sami says you told him that he can't beat Gunther.
Chad says he wasn't telling Sami what he wanted to hear, but what he needed to hear. You are at your best when people don't believe in you. You need to prove them wrong.
We see Sami doing more training.
We see the handshake.
We go to commercial (in the commercial free first hour)
